Waffle House - Oxford. Hotty Toddy! Stopped in today on a college visit to Ole Miss. Waffle House was packed with people and there was a 30 minute wait to be seated. We waited, cuz Waffle House. We were seated and placed our orders. Protein bowl, all star breakfast and chocolate chip waffles. Everything came out hot, everything was delicious. It was a very clean establishment but it was also my first time trying Waffle House. I wasn't impressed.

Every time we visit Oxford, we have at least 1 breakfast/brunch here. The service is always OUTSTANDING! Damion, Ruth, Gina, Tabitha, Michelle, and everybody else work like a well-oiled machine. On the weekends, you will wait, but it's worth it. It's not fancy, but it is GOOD!! read more

Really good Waffle House Food: Great. Everything cooked right. Order correct. Tasted great. Good breakfast. Service: Great. Friendly. Fast. Polite. Helpful. Smiling. Good attitudes it seemed. Atmosphere: No complaints. The one thing I will point out is that the employee washing the dishes should be provided with insulated gloves. I could see her flinching from the hot water and soap. After a while that can irritate the skin and be too hot for bare hands. She was working hard but I think we need gloves to protect skin and hands from soaps and hot water. That's all. Overall: 4 stars solid for food and service (first time here so I start with 4 for great). BUT......... + 1 star for staff and service greatness. Everyone here was working so hard. The line supervisor is calling out orders. People cooking. People cleaning. Wiping tables, taking orders. I will return. Great job management as well. read more

First ever trip to Waffle House. Short wait for a table. We were offered coffee during out wait. Staff was very friendly and all working well together to keep up with demand. Our waitress Rhonda was super friendly and efficient. Food was very tasty. read more

Says 24/7 but made us wait outside in freezing weather for 20 minutes. We asked to wait right by door and they said no.

Our group of 5 came on a busy Sunday afternoon, fully expecting to wait up to an hour. One of the employees at the door took our name/party size and offered us several beverages as we waited, as well as showed us to the self service coffee bar. We were able to have our order taken prior to being seated. Our food was available shortly after we got a table. Our server, Tab, was wonderful. She was very attentive and made sure that we had everything that we needed. The restaurant itself was very clean and run efficiently. We were in and out within an hour. Whoever runs this Waffle House is doing an excellent job. read more

We normally come to waffle house and enjoy it. We came tonight and as soon as we pulled in people the workers were smoking weed outside not even secretively.. the only guy in there welcomed us and was appreciated. but we order our food and he was the only one in there making it. everyone was still outside. the ones from outside finally come in and are messing w our server and just messing around. but our server was the one taking care of us and MAKING OUR FOOD. the atmosphere was -1 out of 10. after 12am. will rather go in morning when they actually have managers observing. our server was good for being the only one in there, but there were something off with him also. he tried his best while the other sat outside, smoking weed. I don't give this time coming here event a 1 out of 5. waffle house do better. read more

I like Waffle House and the Staff does a good job. I am on a special diet and they meet my needs. They are open all day & night.

Staff was very nice and checked on use every couple minutes as she walked by the table. the food was prepared quickly and was very good.

It's Waffle House. It's got all the things Waffle Houses have. It's exactly what you know and expect. It's delicious.

Our waiter Bob was great!! He even made us a different coffee to try! Food was good, service was prompt and very clean!

My husband and I ate Waffle House the second night it opened. There were about 30 people working there that night. Staff included 4 management staff members and one was a district manager. He was over seeing that particular shift. We ordered the same thing we've been ordering at Waffle House all over the country for 15 years (cheesesteaks) so we knew something was wrong with our food. We both ate half of our sandwiches and then one of us finally said to the other "something is not right here." We got our server. She had the manager check. We watched as they cleaned out the fridge with a pan of rancid meat we had just been served. She was SO apologetic and nice. She confirmed the pan was bad and that's why they had to throw it out. However, the district manager only came to our table when I asked to speak to him. He acted like it was no big deal and told me if I had a problem I could speak to the regional manager who was expected there the following day and gave me his business card. Which seemed more like an advertisement for a hiring event that happened to have his name on it. Afterwards my husband and I both got sick. My husband more than I. My brother, who is an ER doctor, had to bring my husband home a bag of IV fluids because he was so dehydrated from being ill. Welcome to Oxford, Waffle House. We won't be back. And your district manager... you need a new one. read more
