Best Waffle House I've ever been to! Service was great and food was wonderful. Not even a fight in the parking lot!

Good ole Waffle House is always a solid meal choice while traveling. The service was a tad slow but they were very pleasant and helpful. The food came out cooked right and the sides were great. The tables were a bit rough looking but it looked like they just got through the morning rush when we arrived. Cooks and servers were all great. read more

Best. Service. Ever!! You'd never guess that world-class service would be found in a little nothing-but-an-exit place! From the second I walked in the door, Carol made me feel like a glowing Christmas tree. She listened very attentively and empathetic ally as I told her my allergies, asked questions, and got her good suggestions. She communicated my order carefully to the cook who did a great job. Simple food is an excellent experience when done well. I even ordered a second helping. The man at the table across the way said the same. If you need a pick-me-up on your journey, stop in here! This is just a little off road Waffle House located between a gasoline and truck diesel service station, a convenience store and a not so good rather rundown Ramada Inn. Its customer base seems to be composed basically of truckers and construction workers. The redeeming feature of this Waffle House is the friendliness of the staff and the food which is, for what they serve, rather good. One of the menu features I like was with their hash brown potatoes. They have 8 different toppings. Your first is 50 cents extra with any additional at 40 cents. read more

The food was amazing and the lady that served us our food was very delightful and very sweet. The food was cooked perfectly and there was no mistake on it and made sure she got everything right. Shift change? We stopped in our travels to sit down for a meal just before 9 pm on a Friday night and were told they were only serving to go plates because it was shift change. 4 workers in the store. 2 sitting. 2 working, one was actively cooking. We were the only customers. read more

Not much to say here..... It's a typical Waffle House with the same menu..... Just different location. Our server was nice. Usually I'm lucky at Waffle Houses and get good service. The food is always pretty good. Priced fairly. Great grits. Love the hash brown potatoes, and they are usually pretty fast. I've come to this particular one for 9 years about this same time every year. Same this year as it was 9 years ago. We always stop here on our way to the Southern Christmas Show in Charlotte, NC for breakfast. We're always in and out quickly. Bathrooms could always use a little more work, but still fine. I got the grits and hash brown potatoes .... Good as usual. Waffle House is usually a safe bet for breakfast. We were all pleased with our food. My mom is pleased as long as they keep HOT coffee flowing through her cup..... which they did. We will be back next year!!! read more

Ok. So I KNEW I had to check out The Waffle House while exploring the South. I'm glad I can say I did, but not very glad with the food. It's nothing to brag about! The Waffle House reminded me of a lower version of IHOP. Did I eat my breakfast? Yes. Did I rant about how good and blown away I was by the waffle? No Pros: - All Star Special. For $7 you literally get everything you want for breakfast. Eggs, toast, waffle, choice of meat. - Fast Service. If you need a quick stop and go place but want to avoid the Drive-Thru at McDonalds then this is your place. Cons: - Service. I don't think not one person smiled while we were there which was around 10am. - Food. Just simple and not good. Eggs were watery, I've had better sausage from McDonalds, and the waffle was just a plain waffle. I'm happy to say I tried The Waffle House but the next time I make my way down South I'll be looking for other breakfast options. read more

People were nice but I was unable to eat. Our waitress was eating an egg sandwich and then kept wiping her nose. I kept waiting for her to wash her hands never did and continued cooking and serving us with those hands! Stuff all over them. :( read more

Went there for breakfast there around 10:30 a.m. received food bit by bit still was waiting on sausage and waitress never came back to offer refills on anything waffle was burnt, mind you before our meal was complete she drop the bill on the table. Still no sausage!!! She finally looked our way, we had to tell her that we didn't get our meat. She adjusted the Bill it went from $19 to $2 less. Charge the full price separately for a 2 waffle and the drinks. Horrible!!!!!. read more

We were just stopping by on our way home from Disney. Stayed at the Ramada next door. Waffle House prices are great (especially compared to what we've been paying at Disney.) Best value is the all star breakfast. Comes with your choice of meat, potato, egg style and it comes with a waffle. I've been to plenty a Waffle House, but what made this one stand out was the service and the staff. They were all incredibly friendly. Southern hospitality is no joke, even at smaller places. Everyone was great, especially the server, I wish I could remember her name. Keep doing what you're doing though! Will definitely be back if we are passing through again! read more

Being from NYC I always depended on Deli breakfast. Let me say first off being open 24 hours has its pros and cons... the good outweigh the bad though. I had the all star breakfast which is a meal more flexible than an acrobat... 7.50 gets you a waffle, eggs, bacon sausage or ham, hash browns and toast. .50 cents extra makes your hash browns a large and 1.00 more gets you an extra waffle which is like 3.00 by itself. all together you could stuff two people for less than 10.00....good pull up spot read more

Great visit since we were with out sailing team. But not the same Waffle House experience I like. The staff was pretty friendly but not too fast. The cook actually had some kind of issue with his girlfriend while we were there. She and him left with her crying after he cooked all meals for customers. Was not too obvious about it as the others with me did not even notice. My meal was actually very good. The texas Toast PAtty melt and doubled it for $1 more. Cooked well and decent hash browns. Out of the six that ate I would say that 3 or 4 loved theirs and 2 or 3 were not crazy about theirs. read more

A no-nonsense place for basic food. Always cooked to order. The food is always right and the people are always attentive. Coffee is hot and plenty of it. Cooks and wait staff interact and are really friendly. Bathrooms have been remodeled and look great. The waffles are light and yummy. Egg omelets and grits and raisin toast are a must try! Worst Waffle House I've ever been to, service wise. We came in at 1:30 and they made us wait 30 minutes to even order because it was a shift change. I've never seen anything like it. We didn't object because we didn't really have anywhere else to be. Finally, a cook on the end of her shift, who felt bad that we had waited so long, asked us what we would like and cooked it for us once they turned the grill back on. The only manager in sight came in to check on things I suppose, but then he went back out to his car. The food was decent, even though both of our orders were incomplete, but we have made a mental note never to come back here during a "shift change." read more

Walked in and walked right out. My family came in and stood by the door for about 5 minutes. There were 3 workers who were sitting at a table, looked over at us, and didn't smile or say a word. There were flies everywhere and the restaurant was just dirty. Didn't get a chance to try the food, but the service and cleanliness were a definite thumbs down.
