This is a cute Cafe specializing in waffles. They have all kinds of waffles, including Oreos and waffles with chicken. We chose a waffle with Nutella, strawberries and berries; and a waffle with Nutella, bananas and blueberries. We enjoyed iced lattes. The tables are quite small and cozy. The waffles were delicious as well as a latte. If you're looking for a cute breakfast or brunch place or you like breakfast for dinner, this is a great place to go. The staff are lovely. Parking is on the street.

All the items that we tried from the oreo waffles, kalbi hotdog, and the mix platter waffles were amazing. There was enough crunch to the waffle, but so soft in the middle. I believe it was a mochi waffle? Not 100% sure, but it definitely did not disappoint. My girls (wife and 2 daughters) loved it as well. There was a strawberry smoothie that I wasn't able to take a picture of, but they do use real fruits and it was so refreshing to drink. The staff was welcoming and service was fast. The restaurant is ideal for hanging out with the family or friends. Plenty of street parking within a 1 block radius since its residential. Would totally be coming back here to try the different items they have to offer.

I know this is primarily a waffle place and should've gotten a waffle to write a justified review, but I was more intrigued by their bingsu and saw someone else get their waffle and it didn't look too worth it (the waffle looked pale and just not as toasted), so this review is just for their bingsu. Really cute mom and pop kind of cafe. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, and it was pretty quiet. The workers there were pretty tired and took a table themselves to nap and rest. Their bingsu wasn't bad. It's on the pricier side, but does have a lot of toppings like fruit jelly, red bean, mini mochi pieces, fresh strawberries, and a full red-bean stuffed mochi. It did take a while for it to come out, considering there were only one out of the 2 customers that had when we dropped by. The shaved ice was good and refreshing and didn't melt too quickly. The mini mochi pieces were on the tougher side. Other than that, everything else about the bingsu was good.

Came in for after dinner SWEET GOODNESS and boy, were they ON POINT! Waffle N Sip did not dissappoint. And I had the advantage of watching the staff make the strawberry waffle and I was so delighted! Such dedication and effort you can SEE AND TASTE. We'll definitely be back!

Came in during rush hour in the weekend and the front desk person did tell me to kind of cancel my drink order, but then I explained I could wait a while (was walking the dog). For $25 got the waffle egg sandwhich no meat and a sweet potato latte. Both were delicious and fresh.

What an underrated spot!!!!! I have seen it coming up via the feeds but saw that it was all sweet, dessert-like options. Plus the photos looked overwhelmingly huge in portions (totally not for the borderline diabetics etc). Also there seems to be little or no meat choices? (Just an initial assumption.) However, wanted to give this a try. After passing so many times and never seeing any crowds, it was an opportune moment. Soooooo glad we did give it a shot!!!!! There was a brunch set that shouldve been at the forefront! It included a small coffee, a croffle (crossover waffle + croissant) and egg with sausage. Whaaaat!!?? The croffle was amazing!!!! The dollop of whip cream on the side was sooo fresh- and I am not even a fan of whip cream. The staff was sooo welcoming and providing recommendations. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. (Always remember to tip.) The set up is perfect for group meet ups in which everyone orders separately to avoid those annoying disagreements with the bill . Anyways- high quality results with clean environment. By around 12:30 Sunday afternoon, all the seats were filled and packed! Online orders and carry outs were also frequent, too. The online menu and whatever the online reviews are displaying are not doing this place enough justice. This is absolutely a hidden gem!!!!! And to those 2-3 star-reviews that had included positive things to say---- double WHAT??!!!

We visited Waffle N Sip on a Saturday morning around 10/10:30am. It's located on a corner on Northern Blvd in Queens, NY. We were greeted once we walked through the door and seated immediately. Service was great! Everyone there was very friendly. The restaurant was not very crowded at that time. Throughout our time there the restaurant had customers that dined in and well as took food to go. It's very clean and fun. There were cut wood table tops and winter themed decals in the windows. They had a MsPacman video game by the door. The food was great and picture worthy. We got the mixed berry waffle, the chicken and waffle, a side of sausage and a side of bacon. We also got the strawberry ade and a matcha latte... Personally, I liked the mixed berry waffle over the chicken and waffles. The chicken wasn't fried enough for me. The berries with the creme on the light waffle was a perfect balance for me. The bacon was sliced thin and crispy, which I like. The strawberry ade was refreshing and had pieces of fresh strawberries and what they called jam at the bottom of the cup. Overall, we enjoyed the experience!

So, I stopped here on my way home from lunch and thought a nice sweet treat would be a perfect complement to the food. The place is cute and cheerful inside. The staff was very friendly, helpful and really nice. The taste of the 2 desserts we had was good but the issue that we had was that both dishes had the waffle completely cold. This made for an unpleasant eating experience. Since the dishes came out to the table with 3 minutes, I have to assume the waffles are pre-made or packaged and just taken out of the fridge and put on the plate. It is too bad, because the taste was good.

We chose to dine in and enjoyed the variety of food and beverage options. The restaurant and bathroom were very clean and tidy. Our food was served promptly and tasted delicious. Although it is on the pricier side ($48 for two small iced coffees, one waffle egg sandwich, and one waffle with strawberries & banana), it's acceptable for an occasional treat. Overall, I highly recommend it. Thank you for a great first-time experience.

1st time here & the place is so cute with an amazing menu that has savory & sweet waffles. The staff is friendly & helpful. We got the lotus n cream waffles ($9.49). The servings are huge! If we'd known how big they were, we wuda gotten 1 waffle. Anyway, we headed there right after dinner & 1/4 of the waffle filled us up. The lotus n cream waffle comes with lotus cookies and a very dense whipped cream. The consistency was that of melted marshmallows. I must say, this is THE BEST whipped cream I've ever had. Drink was refreshing but nothing special about it. Be careful with the tea bag because my straw punctured it by accident when i try to mix the drink and all the tea grains fell into my drink making it hard to drink. I ordered the lychee drink. It was on the sweet side. Syrupy tasting. read more

I came here and WOW! I loved the strawberry waffle and my son loved the Oreo waffle. The strawberry smoothie was also pretty good. A bit of a wait but not too long and everyone was super kind! I definitely recommend this place for a good breakfast if you are around. I am definitely coming back. read more

Walked in at brunch peak time, greeted warmly by the owner and we got to seat ourselves after waiting a bit. Crumbs on the table, comfortable temp but seems like there's no AC, open windows, too hot/sunny to sit up at the front, shadier in the back with seats that are pretty close to each other, inevitably flies flying around. Got a waffle sandwich that looked bomb but taste wise .... it wasn't doing anything to my taste buds. The ingredients all kind of played separately. The orange sauce didn't complement the waffle and the flavor didn't hit the spot. The hot sweet potato latte was interesting.. literally tastes like a sweet potato soup. The moment you walk you're created to a comfy and decorated interior. I ordered a hot chocolate on a cold day and it warmed me right up. Prices are on the pricey side (hot chocolate was $6.75). First time ate at waffle n sip and enjoyed my breakfast. I had a waffle covered with a thin layer of whipped cream, topped with strawberries , blueberries and banana. Excellent. Ordered a decaf coffee freshly brewed and tasted great. Will definitely return when in the mood for waffles. read more

Ordered this Oreo and cream waffle and a iced matcha. Sadly I didn't like either. The iced green tea drink just didn't taste all that good... I threw it out. I ate half the waffle. Their waffle itself was disappointing. Tasted like a bad commercial waffle. Is was lite and a bit chewy. I enjoy a waffle with some crisp edges and soft centers... So just not the place for me... Plus I don't like the paper under the waffle... When you cut the waffle it rips the paper and there is a chance you might be eating some of that... Service was nice even though I was basically the only customer there. So it's hard to tell how it is when the place is actually busy... read more

I came here with my friend tonight and from the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with so much enthusiasm (especially since it was semi-late in the evening) . The people were super helpful, showing photos of the food and introducing their popular items etc. the waffle itself was beautiful and delicious. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside!! Additionally, their cream is amazing- light but just the right amount of sweetness :) they had a special raffle going on which was super fun!! 10/10 great experience!! I loved it and would come back! We came to this place for brunch or a late lunch, whichever you decide works for you. We got a lychee and strawberry refresher and both were good and had the right amount of sweetness. We also got a combo dish, a blueberry & banana waffle and a sampler waffle dish. The waffles weren't bad. The fruit was sweet and the whipped cream they put on was very good. Portion sizes weren't bad either. The food came out quickly. If you pay cash, you get a discount. Small restaurant with only about six tables and some stool counter top sitting. They also have a free Ms. Pac-Man arcade game by the door. read more

My 2 friends and I walked in just to check it out. They kept asking us if we were ready to order which made us feel a little rushed. Both my friends ordered a latte but I didn't want anything. However, they told my friend that if I didn't order anything then I wouldn't be allowed to stay? Stopped by after eating at Modoo. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is super clean and aesthetic. We ordered the Nutella Strawberry Banana Waffle and the Lychee Ade. Both were delicious! My partner and I went to this establishment on a Sunday and thought the food was pretty good. However, their refresher teas are even better. Unfortunately I would not return to this business because though they were not busy unfortunately, they do provide some type of discount card if you were to return in the future. Unfortunately, we were not provided with one however, others were as they came in after us. I am huge on customer service and treating everyone with equality and that's not something that was shown at this business. read more

Delicious DELICIOUS MOCHI LIKE WAFFLES!! I came in fully expecting a mediocre dessert but it was extremely delicious and chewy the way I like it! I came in fully expecting to be served a mediocre waffle, but this was so different and tasted like a Mochi donut!! The music and decor was so cute and the owner was beyond sweet and helpful!!! We did a Halloween raffle and my friend and I won free face masks and hand sanitizers!! And the table next to us won free waffles for next time! I can't wait to come back just for the superb service!! read more

Decided to to try this place after looking at all the great reviews and photos. Service was friendly, and the place is cute and clean. The waffles, unfortunately were some of the worst I've ever had. We tried a sample of four different flavors and the lotus. Presentation was beautiful. I assumed for a place that serves waffles They would be warm and crispy . The waffles were cold, and cutting through them, was like cutting through a piece of rubber. There was a Little to no flavor. We boxed up 90% of what we ordered and threw it away when we came home. I had high hopes for this place, but sadly I will not be returning. read more

Honestly I'd rate it a 2.5. Moved literally two blocks away and bought Mother's Day flowers from their business I think the son. Place looked nice, took my wife/twins there this past Saturday morning. At 9:05 we were the second patron. Ordered an iced americano, iced mocha, waffle with banana/strawberries. Lady before us got some type of sandwich. Drinks came out, at 9:29, I had to ask if the waffle was coming out. 25 min to get the Waffle killed it for us. For this price point (drinks were higher than Starbucks) and Waffle, I'd expect the Service to be faster. Food quality was very good, drinks-I'd pass but dang Service was SLOW. I actually felt bad for the guy that came in behind us, he waited about 33minutes for the same Waffle. SMH read more

We got the Galbi waffle dog with the spicy mayo and at first I was concerned with the syrup and spicy mayo but it was sooooo good. We also got the waffle with strawberry and banana as well as the lychee and yuzu refresher. The lychee is definitely on the sweeter side while yuzu is more citrusy. read more
