Tea and chocolate chip cookie.

A nice little breakfast spot with a friendly, small-town feel. There was definitely a sense that some of the customers were regulars. We also happened to be there on a Monday, which is their free coffee day, and they give free cookies for customers to pick up after ordering and paying. Really good selection of classic American breakfast items; I was impressed they had sourdough toast as one of the toast options.

Breakfast bowl with a Coffe and lemon water

*If you haven't figured it out from previous reviews .. you must go to the counter upon entering to place an order. I personally really enjoy this place, I've tried it for breakfast and lunch . I really liked the breakfast bowl which had sausage, eggs, peppers, cheese and hash-browns with a Coffee, was very filling. For lunch I had the make your own burger with provolone cheese, peppers, mushrooms, onions, lettuce and various other toppings and a basket of fries for 11$ was awesome!! They also have serve yourself lemon or cucumber soaked water which I really enjoyed also, very happy with the food and service.

Love that you a grab your own coffee cup & fill er' up.

Very long wait for food. If your hungry you might want to look elsewhere. You order and sit and wait.

I ordered 1 breakfast plate- just a traditional breakfast. It has been 1 hour and 10 minutes and I am still waiting. Terrible service.

Great sized portions of tasty food! Big breakfast sampling of eggs, bacon, hash browns and pancake - all terrific! Coffee was great too!

This is a great old fashioned diner in the heart of PA. The pancakes are awesome and the price is right.

Nothing spectacular... Very bland. Rude workers and flavourless food. I though I was in England. Never again.

It's located in Sewickley on Walnut street right off Broadway. The shop itself is tiny and whenever I got inside there was a cop and a lady with a dog. The 3 (or 4) of us filled up the waiting/ordering area. There was a freezer case filled with Leona's ice cream sandwiches and then a display cooler with cold drinks in it. Lastly they had a clear shelf on the counter with some muffins in it. I was a little sad it wasn't filled with the pastries I had seen photos of, but I guess it wasn't the right day. After looking at the menu I decided to order a 16 oz Cuban while my wife went with a 12 oz mocha. Since the others had already been waited on, it took only a few minutes and we had our coffees and were on our way. My Cuban ended up being quite good as it had the perfect amount of sweetness to it that it complimented the milk and coffee without overpowering it. Then the coffee itself was strong and rich while the milk did it's part. My wife also really enjoyed her mocha from here. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. Both of our coffees were good and i hope that the next time that we stop by that they have some pastries as well.

I didn't have my gift cards with me today but decided it was time to treat myself anyway. I had the Cappuccino- it was strong and hot! I love when my coffee is made at a high temperature and I don't know anyone who prefers that, but clearly the baristas make their drinks at the "right" temperature. There is a very little room once inside. I was one of 3 patrons there but it was fine for me and they make their drinks pretty fast. I will come back again and try their other drink items.

The old automobile sign decor, milkshake bar, open kitchen concept and friendly staff, left a memorable impression. Big shout out to the couple, the hostess sat me with at the milkshake section of restaurant, and Lindsey one of the owners, for taking care of us. The food was plated to perfection, tasted amazing and the side salad, beyond anyone wildest dream of wow for a diner. Great portions of food, went with the sandwich special for the day. Lindsey, was engaging, great multi tasker and definitely shake master. She had to have done quite a few shakes as I watched and waited for my food. If your looking for milkshakes, burgers, prime rib, be sure to check Chop Shop out.

Timing is Everything!!!…read more I just happened to stop in at the Chop Shop in Downtown Butler, PA, during a recent Heatwave. As my luck would have it, I quickly discovered that this restaurant does not have air conditioning. I'm not sure if it was just offline or if it is permanent; however, be warned!! The restaurant had children and elderly people seated, so I couldn't wimp out and go somewhere else. The Chop SHop is a downtown Butler must-try, and it is three concepts rolled into one. The Chop Shop is a vintage-style eatery serving sandwiches, milkshakes, burgers, vegetarian fare and grilled meats. I ordered their specialty milkshake, which is a loaded milkshake that comes with everything thrown into one Milkshake. Although it was a perfect drink for a heatwave, my milkshake quickly melted due to the heat in the restaurant. For the main course, I ordered the Mixed Grill, which had grilled elk tenderloin, smoked quail, caramelized bacon brussels sprouts, dauphinoise potatoes and a blackberry brandy demi-glaze. The food was awesome, and those potatoes were crazy-good. The Elk was cooked to medium as I ordered, and the quail was tender and juicy. Overall, a good but hot dining experience. The Chop Shop has great food, great service, and one day may serve alcohol in the restaurant, but for now, their food and drinks can be enjoyed without it.
