Please, please, please do not take your dogs here. I made a huge mistake - I did not believe all the negative reviews. I took my 2 healthy German shepherds here. I have vet bills showing they were healthy. I took them for a 2 mile run the day I took them. I come back from vacation to $3,000 veterinarian bill and a huge gash on his head. This place is incompetent, and should not be boarding dogs. It is one thing if just one customer writes a terrible review. The number of 1 star reviews should tell you not to bring your dog here. I absolutely love Valerie and her staff! A few years ago I found myself in need of the perfect place to board my dogs for Thanksgiving. I had never used a daycare or boarding service before. I wanted them to be "the one" because their facilities looked clean and spacious. The cherry on top is that my dogs would stay together in their own indoor suite in between daycare sessions. My dogs were all over 6 years old at the time and I was nervous that being left in the care of strangers and a lot of strange dogs would be too overwhelming for them. I called them with low expectations and explained my situation to Valerie. She listened to my concerns and suggested that I bring them in for a half day at daycare for evaluation. She was so patient and understanding that I instantly felt at ease. When we arrived the facility looked clean and welcoming. They even had a white board with the names of the dogs they had at daycare that day (including some cute nicknames for dogs that came together). The lady that checked us in took her time introducing our dogs to their pack and there were no issues. When we came back to pick them up they all looked happy and worn out from a fun filled (half) day. Valerie gave us a "report" of their day and told us she was confident that they wouldn't have an issue boarding. She even offered to send us pictures of them while we were away and reminded us that they were only a phone call away. When we arrived to pick them up we were informed that not only did they do well but that they were given special "turkey day" meals mixed in with their food for dinner on Thanksgiving and my heart melted. They fetched our babies one at a time and each came prancing out of the main room happy as can be. They even brushed our dogs! They came home looking so clean and soft. Thanks Valerie and staff for keeping my fur babies safe, warm, and loved while I was away. I've already booked them for Christmas this year and it feels good to know that they're safe with you. read more

I love this place! Whenever we're on our way in the morning my dog squeals with happiness. The employees always remember my dogs name even though he's only there about once a week and he is exhausted whenever I pick him up. Doglife is an AWESOME daycare / boarding facility. Everyone on the staff, especially the owner Valerie, treats your dog like it's their own. It's only $15 for a half day and they have a punch card so after you drop of your dog 10 times, the 11th one is FREE :) The place is always busy so your dog will have plenty of other dogs to play with. read more

I started taking my first dog to Doglife around four years ago, and I've never thought about going anywhere else! Val and her staff love my guys as much as I do, and I feel totally comfortable leaving them in Doglife's very capable hands. The dogs aren't created as a matter of policy at Doglife during daycare, unlike some of the big daycare chains. My boys always come home tired and happy! I love Doglife so much that I even bought a house based on driving distance to them so that I could continue taking my dogs to daycare there. One other great thing about Doglife is that you can arrange to have your pups groomed through them. The grooming doesn't happen at Doglife, but Val works with a groomer within walking distance. All you have to do is tell her you want your dog groomed, and Doglife takes care of booking the appointment during regular daycare hours. You just pay for the grooming when you pick up your dog from daycare, so getting your dog groomed requires zero extra effort on your part. It's a great service! Truly, I can not recommend Doglife highly enough. read more

Finding DogLife was such a blessing for us. We take our dog 2x a week for doggy daycare and he has stayed once for a 4 consecutive overnight boarding. He comes home ready for dinner and bed. I love Dog Life, Valerie and her staff are so sweet and caring, and they always remember my pup's name. I love that they have a swimming pool in their facility for those hot summer days. I wish I didn't have to give it any stars at all. This place has scarred my dog for life. Since she went here, she has been terrified of other dogs. I attribute this to their poor knowledge of how to socialize dogs slowly. I recommend not bringing your dogs here if you don't want them to be traumatized. Before she went here, she would run and play with dogs at the dog park and frolic. Now she is terrified so I know it's not in her nature. It makes me sad to see how scared she is now of other dogs. Beware of this place. Valerie thinks she knows what she is doing. Clearly she does not. The dog trainer we took our dog to to try and reverse this also said I am not the first one for her to have business from people bringing their dogs to Valerie's place. Valerie has no clue. My little guy Moe, has been going for about 3wks and he loves it. He is 6mos and they wear him out by the time I pick him up he is ready for bed. Their pool is open now and that is such great exercise for him. They seem to really care about the dogs they have in their care and Moe seems to really like it there. read more

Terrible. When I arrived to pick up my puppy, there were two, young, male employees screaming at each other in the parking lot. They seemed oblivious to customers coming and going which seemed especially offensive considering I had my four-year-old with me. I mentioned it to the owner and she seemed dismissive, replying "oh, yeah I know" as if to excuse the behavior. She also refused to give me a tour of the facility citing, "there are too many dogs back there" as an excuse. Too many dogs? Really? You're a doggy daycare and you're telling a customer that you have have too many dogs to manage a walk-through? Finally, I asked about my puppy's day and she couldn't tell my anything. This was our first visit, so I expected at least a basic level of service and maybe even some warmth. We received neither. read more

I was looking for a good place to board my pup while my boyfriend and I were out of town. After reviewing a few places, I saw that DogLife was right down the street and had relatively good reviews. So I sent an email asking about pricing, in the email I included that my dog is a terrier mix, indicated on his vet records, and was between 60-65 lb. Clearly, he is a larger dog. It took Valerie a few days to even respond to my email on pricing and what information I needed to give her. Our email interaction was awkward, to say the least, and that should have been my red flag, but I was new to the area and hopeful that our dog would have a better stay at a small owned boarder than a chain. In the emails she never gave me a time to drop my dog off, just how much her daily rate is, what vaccines she needed, and that if I picked my dog up before 10 I wouldn't be charged for that day. So we had gotten everything in order and dropped our dog off a few hour before our flight. We had never been here before and when we walked in there were dogs in pens near the entrance, I'm assuming for dogs that needed a time out, and Valerie was behind the desk. We were never greeted walking in, she was speaking to an employee or volunteer that was leaving with her dog. I told her we were here to drop our dog off and gave her his name, she immediately looked at him, frowned and said "that's not a terrier mix, that's a pitbull, when you said terrier I thought you ment little." This is my first face to face interaction with this woman and I am immediately turned off. I immediately regretted bringing my dog there. He is not a pitbull, in fact he is a Staffordshire terrier mix, but is labeled as a terrier mix on all of his vet records. Also, Broomfield does not have bsl, so whether he is a pit or not is irrelevant. She was also fully aware that my dog was 60-65lb through both our emails and vet records. She just neglected to pay attention. We rescued our dog about a year ago, he was neglected, and is highly energetic and in your face, but well behaved. He has stayed with a boarder before, back home, and was very well behaved and never had to be isolated or removed. I am always worried about how he is going to interact with dogs because of his lack of timidness, though. My dog is submissive, having been mounted at parks by all kinds of dogs, he just wants to play. But I was already on edge about how we had been greeted, feeling like Valerie didn't want to board bully type dogs. We called to check in on him the next day, make sure he is adjusting alright and getting along with dogs. We were told that he "wasn't doing so well" with other dogs and may need to be isolated. We told her that if he is not behaving, by all means, remove him from the situation. We were never updated the rest of the week. I understand being busy, not being able to call the families of every dog that stays there, but if your last report to us is that things aren't going to well, maybe update the pet parents to let them know their dog is improving. When we picked our dog up, Valerie was not in the front. A young girl greeted me with smiles and, get this, kindness. It was such a relief to my anxiety, just having a friendly face greeting me. She went in the back to tell another staff member that I was here. The second staff member came out with our dog, and gave me updates about his entire week. Valerie's staff had me feeling like everything was fine and that i would be returning. I was told that our dog actually improved after being there and settling in for a day and even played with a dog they said does not play well with others. They updated me on how he ate and played and behaved and it was such a relief. I wrote a check for our dog's stay. Valerie waited over 3 weeks to check it, which happens, people get busy, but the first time she tried checking it, it bounced our account. Instead of calling immediately to inform her customers, literally could have been solved in 2 minutes, she tried cashing it again 2 days later, without contacting us in anyway! She cost us, not only how much it was to board our dog, over $200, but also $70 on overdraft fees. On top of that, she decided she was going to charge us an $11 processing fee. My experience was unbelievable, I can not believe this woman runs her business this way, I find it extremely cold and unprofessional. But if you do decide to go, make sure your dog isn't a breed that is in any bully family, pay with cash or a money order, and try to have as little interaction with Valerie as possible. Her staff is by fair the only good thing that had me leaving smiling and feeling confident about the stay. read more

Valerie and the staff at Doglife have always went above and beyond for our family. Our blue heeler can be a handful. He has the biggest personality! Her staff are patient, kind, and they genuinely care about our Jax. They have taken the time to understand how to handle and care for our little, but mighty boy. Doglife has always been so accommodating with our family's busy schedule as well. I would not trust our Jax with anyone else. You have our business as long as we're in Colorado! I cannot say enough good things about this place. I moved to Colorado about 8 months ago and have had many different experiences at other dog day camps, nothing compares to DogLife! My German short hair, Cody, is 8 months. To say he is energetic is an understatement. When I pick him up after a day of play he is beyond tired and extremely happy. I love the fact that he is even tired the next day. Every time I drop him off or pick him up I am amazed by how helpful and nice the women who work here are. My dog and I love DogLife! We've been coming here 1-2x/week for the past 2 months and it has been great for my dog! She's an Australian Shepherd mix that's just under a year old. She loves people, but is kind of timid around other dogs. DogLife listened to me when I said she would do better to start with smaller dogs then move up to playing with bigger dogs (unlike another day care that I tried, who ignored what I said and then told me she didn't play well). The employees are always friendly and always remember my dogs name. When we first started coming here, she'd walk in slowly with her tail down but now she rushes in and runs up to the employee that's in the lobby! I tried another day care and got a bad vibe from them, but I've been comfortable with DogLife since the beginning. I think the only downside is that they don't have any cameras to check on your dog during the day. I highly recommend DogLife! read more

My dogs Charlie, a lab/boxer, and Zoey, a Shepard mix, love to go burn of some energy at Dog life. They have also spent the the weekend. The faculty us very clean. The staff is friendly. They have an indoor pool. If you would like to get in the pool with your dog they have open swim on sat. You just have to call ahead. I have had many experience with other doggy daycares and boarding places in the Boulder/Denver area and this is place is by far the best place I have found. read more

My dog Evie and I love DogLife. We looked at 2 other daycare and boarding places before DogLife and this is by far the best. The facility is clean with several different play areas for different play groups and to keep things fun! The outdoor area has a little kitty pool and hose to keep the dogs cool and entertained in the summer. There is also shade of course. The kennels for boarding are custom and look like little dog rooms instead of the cage like crates that other places have. The staff are all very nice. The owner Valerie is very responsive to phone calls. She gets to know each dog and when I pick Evie up gives me a little brief of what she did that day. I love that!!! She and her staff truly care about the dogs. I know when I drop Evie off that she will be safe and have fun. read more

Both my shy dogs love coming in to see Kendra! This place is fantastic - very clean, very open and spacious with an indoor pool for the pups. Our little girl dog Paisley has been to DogLife a total of 4 times now ( and is going back for Thanksgiving brake). Every time we take her to DogLife we are so thankful that we found this place! We live in Arvada so the location isn't right next to our house but we don't care because it is worth the time and few extra dollars to take her there. She is always tired and happy when we pick her up. Also, she is not always that easiest dog to care for. (she is a ruff and in your face player) and I have seen the staff on more then one occasion give her the attention and adjustment she needs when she is over stimulated. They do more then just put the dogs together to play, they are attentive, vigilant and they really do a great job caring for our pet. read more

Doglife Broomfield is the only place we trust to watch Harry and Louie the Broomfield Brittany Spaniel brothers! Valerie and the staff take such good care of our boys. They are frequent visitors to DogLife for boarding. The staff bends over backwards to accommodate our travel schedules. The quality of care is unsurpassed. On a recent 10-day international trip, Harry got very sick and stopped eating. Valerie noticed that he wasn't himself immediately and got him the medical care he needed. When he didn't improve overnight, they returned to seek additional treatment... we were completely off the grid and had no knowledge of the situation. We are very grateful that he was in good hands. When we saw that she had been trying to reach us, we called and learned that he was already on the mend. She kept us updated by email for the remainder of the trip so we wouldn't lose any of our precious vacation worrying about his health. We wholeheartedly recommend this excellent facility for all of your boarding and doggie daycare needs! read more

As someone moving from out of state and who loves her dog immensely, I am checking out new places to try and replace the gem I currently have in my current location. I visited DogLife yesterday and walked away very disappointed and irritated. The 'customer service' person at the front desk was unwilling to show me the place - her response was they only show the facility during 'special' hours. Keep in mind I was there at an hour that I thought would be better and not during peak drop off or pickup hours. It's always concerning that they won't show you the place except during 'special' hours that are not convenient for a large majority of people. It gives the impression that they have something to hide. The woman at the front desk had poor customer service - not a warm, friendly demeanor with someone working a front-desk at a doggie-daycare. While I don't have an issue paying the per diem they charge (I pay the same at my current home), I expect that the folks that work there - it's more than a job, that each have a warm personality, understand the business aspect and love the dogs that go there. Unfortunate for DogLife as they just lost a great potential customer - today I bring my dog to doggie daycare 4/5 days/week. The other key item is most of their space is indoors - the small area they have outside is in a parking lot. I would NOT recommend DogLife. read more

DogLife has been a life changer for me. I have gone to many different doggie daycare places and this place is by far the best. My dog Rosco loves it here. He is a rescue and has some separation anxiety, so crate training or just leaving him at home was not working. It became very expensive. DogLife is in a great location, right off 36 and the building is clean and comforting. They have an indoor swimming pool which is a great idea! They put life jackets on them and even get in there and play. I bring Rosco there a couple times a week for daycare and have left him there twice for 5 days each time. They took amazing care of him. Always there to talk to me when I wanted to check in and always friendly. Rosco is shy and hates being away from me, but when I take him in for the day he drags me through the door because he is so excited! I have never seen him do that. He hates going into places, even petco or our local organic treat place. That is what convinces me that DogLife is a place that is great to him. DogLife has been great for our pup, Daisy! She's a beagle/Jack Russell mix (we think) with a lot of energy who doesn't always get the exercise she needs. DogLife is very reasonably priced and I'm able to drop Daisy off for a few hours if either of us needs a break. After a half day there, she is completely tuckered out and collapses in the car. Valeria and Kendra are extremely nice and welcoming, as well, and the facility itself is spotless. Very happy! read more

I had never boarded my dogs, but needed a place for my 2 little chihuahuas while I was traveling out of town. Dog Life was GREAT! They have a separate place for little dogs and were able to keep my 2 shy dogs away from a large crowd. Valerie was wonderful and emailed updates on their progress, as I was concerned that they had never been in a kennel before. Valerie and her staff understand the needs of each individual dog and give them the care and attention they require. The facility is sparkling clean and it is clear that the friendly and helpful staff loves dogs and provides excellent care! I am fortunate that I have a great place to bring my dogs when I travel. My Pinto is in love with Dogslife. She is a little thing (just 6.2 pounds) but they take such great care of her. I swear sometimes she likes them more than US! We have had some bad experiences with daycare in the past so I was leery of trying a new place but Dogslife did not disappoint. I made an appointment to tour the facility (they are pretty busy at rush times so it is better to just schedule ahead) and I was really impressed with the space/play areas for the dogs (especially since they have a dedicated space for only small dogs). I never have trouble getting little Pinto in for some play time and the rates are really reasonable considering the care that she gets while she is visiting. Pinto has been enjoying her play time for almost a year now and I am so grateful to have found an awesome place like Dogslife to take my pet!! read more
