She started at Wagtime today and had a blast! They even sent me a video of her playing in the yard with her new friends. I'm looking forward to a long, happy relationship not only with my sweet new puppy, but with the staff and owners of Wagtime. I'm pleased to be back there with people I trust to care for my dog.

We had to take her to an ER vet for treatment and medication. When I brought this to the owners' attention, they failed to acknowledge any responsibility or offer any compensation for what was clearly a preventable issue. To make matters worse, their response was delayed by two weeks and came across as hostile. I left my phone number and a voicemail and never got a call, just a defensive email. Following that, they even deactivated our access to the reservation portal. Our pets deserve better care, and pet parents deserve to be heard--not dismissed. I truly hope moving forward they ensure dogs that are boarded aren't left wet or damp overnight and try to do better. However, they gave no indication that they were going to change anything in their care routines moving forward. I wouldn't trust this business, especially the owners. Below is a photo they uploaded into the reservation portal of her clearly being soaked with water, the other photos are after the ER vet where she had to be shaved down and given steroids to clear them up. The last screenshot is trying to log into the reservation portal and being denied access.

Yes, it's expensive but all vets can be. That's where pet insurance comes in, if you want to spend the $ to save the $. Also, I believe they have a senior discount but you'd have to ask. The last call I made was when I attempted to trim my dog's nails at home one Saturday and could not get one to stop bleeding. They said come on down, showed my how to use this little styptic thingy, gave it to me and said "no charge". That was great service

He is pretty typically behaved about most things and does just fine with about an hour and 20 minute groom time. Our prior dog, an Australian Labradoodle, was a nervous wreck about life. We tired other groomers with her- one told me she "was awful and needed agility class and refuses to go into this crate!" And another groomer who everyone swore by used to take four hours to groom her and would be swearing and sweating by the end of her appointment. Then, we happened upon Lindsay at Companion Pet Sitting. (Cue the ahhhh music...) she was patient and kind and acknowledged that our dog was nervous and called her silly and said, "she tires all sorts of yoga moves but she's fine!" This dog lost an eye and Lindsay even designed a hair style to keep her hair in a side-swept bang style. This is a no frills operation, the appointments are booked so that dogs don't have to spend all day there and I get a text message when he's ready for pick up. Everyone is friendly and flexible and always happy to see the dogs! They are pretty heavily booked with all of the Covid Doodles but if you can get in there, they are amazing.

Mookie, our Aussie, loved to go for daycare and would jump out of the car when we arrived and run straight to the front door. Mikaela was his favorite and he would go right to her in the reception area (or anywhere else). Maya is a fantastic groomer and always had Mookie looking sharp. Our rescue was skittish about going inside so Maya would come out to the car to clip her nails. One day when I picked him up I asked to see where he was being kept and found that it was essentially a kennel daycare with limited free range for half the day or more. This place requires a flu vaccine, after we got the first dose, my dog was showing issues with his front legs so we were working on diagnosing that and found he had elbow dysplasia and some shoulder OCD. When we first started bringing our dog here, we essentially got daily email reminders to provide them with my dogs full vet records, apparently they don't send reminders for expired vaccine records. My wife is away this week and I am solely responsible for my young children and dog, the last thing I expected was this daycare to be the most challenging part of the week. I dropped him off on Monday and Antonia confronted me immediately about his 3 week out of date flu vaccine record, I told them we could get it the following Monday. Tuesday, Antonia confronts me again saying my dog has to be isolated without the records, not having much choice I stated my objection but complied. Today, Wednesday, I was met with an extremely cold Antonia but nothing was said which is better than the confrontational attitude I was getting. Now, end of day, the kennel manager Mikaela sends my wife an accusatory email stating I lied to them and he is not welcome anymore. I'd like to thank this daycare for failing me and my dog. Thank you for the separation and crate anxiety my dog now has, thank you for not giving us grace while we work through a difficult medical issue with my dog, thank you for the horrible attitude and most of all thanks for not giving us an opportunity to fulfill your stringent record requirements. Send your dog somewhere else, unless you like your dog sharing a cage with another dog half the day. Send your dog someplace that values reliability and will send a reminder if their records are showing out of date. Antonia, Mikaela, do better.

I would spend over three hours weekly scraping dog feces and dog hair off the side walk so the smell wouldn't permeate into our apartment-when confronted Amy would let her Pitbulls run at Me. I had to get the police involved for my safety. Please avoid this place at all costs she's severely mentally ill.
