Tucker has a hard time trusting people and has separation anxiety. Cindy and her hubby took such good care of Tucker that he actually didn't want to leave! In the past when we have picked him up from other dog sitters, he's running for the car and shakes in the back seat. When we picked him up from Cindy's, he tried to drag me into her house! Our usual friend who watches our pooch was unable to, so we had to look for someone to board our mini poodle last minute. We did not want to kennel her so I contacted Cindy from Wag On Inn and made a site visit last week. She was responsive to texts, has a lovely backyard for the dogs to play in and you can tell she loves dogs. The pricing is reasonable and if you have your dog stay a certain amount of days she will give you a discount. We were going to use her services but a family member was able to watch our pup for us. We had rescued Astro just 5 months before we were leaving the country for 3 months. I wasn't planning on adopting a dog until we came back home but Astro's living conditions were not good so he quickly became a member of our family. I couldn't have been happier with the care Astro received at the Wag on Inn. He was treated as a member of the family. We're so lucky we found Cindy. Our dog, Oscar, hadn't spent any time without us in a very long time, and hadn't ever spent much time with other dogs, so we were worried about how he would behave and whether he would be able to adjust. But Cindy took great care of Oscar and made his stay very comfortable. She sent us pictures every day and kept us up to date on how he was doing. Our trip coincided with a lot of rain in the Bay Area, but even when he wasn't able to go outside much, he did just fine. It was sort of funny, Oscar bonded with Cindy's husband and followed him everywhere! The pictures she sent gave us peace of mind and when we finally came back and picked him up we could tell he was healthy and happy. I am so fortunate and thankful to have met such wonderful and kind hearted people like Cindy and her husband. At first, I was very nervous to have my dog stay at another place. I had never ever boarded my dog in our 14 years together. I was even more nervous that my dog would be rejected because she was part pit. I was glad I found Cindy. Cindy treated my dog like a member of her family. It didn't matter that she was part pit. My dog had a chance to run around in her beautiful backyard and enter the home when she wanted to. My dog loves sunbathing. My dog even slept in a petbed in their bedroom. My dog also lounged in their couch most of the day. I have a couch potato dog! Cindy even bought her add on meat for her dogfood since my dog is spoiled and likes eating human food more than dog food. Cindy helped me feel more comfortable being apart from my baby by sending text messages and pictures. She really got to know my dog and gave her massages to ease her anxiety from being apart from me. She recommended getting a thunder shirt for my dog's anxiety which helped. She walked my dog everyday. She sent me updates multiple times a day. I was so thankful for that. We still keep in touch even after we moved out of the area. She is very genuine and is one of those people that you gravitate towards because she has a pure heart. In the end, My doggie and I gained an extended family. Sometimes my doggie gives me this look like she is looking for Cindy. I know in my heart that she misses Cindy. 5 starts does not adequately represent how wonderful Cindylou is!!! We moved an hour away which is the only reason we no longer use her service. I would recommend Cindylou to anyone how wants the best for their dogs. I have known Cindylou since we moved to Concord in 2000. She was our dog walker for ten years, for a total of 5 dogs and 3 cats over the years. Words cannot describe the love, care, and compassion she showed our family, or the love and trust we had/have in her. Our dogs LOVE Cindylou. When I say love, I mean love. They know the sound of her truck, they go WILD when they heard her voice. Cindylou was extremely flexible in meeting the challenging needs of our dogs. One of our pups has extreme fear issues, so Cindylou would use her "walk time" to play ball in the yard and tire her out. Our other dog was attacked by a pittbull on a walk, so Cindy would take him in her truck to the park to walk, where it was safer and more comfortable. She was our weekday dog walker, and pet sitter when we travelled. During the year my dad was dying, Cindylou was there to help my family during the numerous times we had to drop everything to fly to New York. She helped to hold our household together and keep our dogs sane and stable through this time. She also stayed "on call" for us when I went into labor and she came to stay with our pups in the middle of the night while we took off to the hospital. My favorite story is when she dogsat our dogs at her house. I found out our very lazy beagle spent the stay cuddled with Cindy's husband who was in bed sick all weekend. Cindylou hand fed the beagle in bed, because the beagle didn't want to get out of bed!!! When we got home, our beagle was truly pissed that she had to come home!!! When my oldest, and most treasured and loyal dog was very ill with cancer in the middle of July, Cindylou came over and shaved her (beautifully) to make her more comfortable. Cindylou is a retired groomer and the best groomer I have ever met. Finally, Cindylou was and still is the only person I would trust to make health (including life and death) decisions for my dogs, on my behalf and in my absence. Cindylou will treat your dog with as much love and care as you yourself would do (if not more). She has been walking our pups since July 2012. Our two rescue pups warmed up to her quickly - especially our reactive spaniel/chi mix who doesn't like anyone. She's patient and very kind to our furry children as well as their two legged parents and she is extremely flexible in working with our ever changing work, school, vacation and emergency schedules. She also provides pet sitting services at a very competitive rate. Our newest adoptee - a small terrier puppy - is very skittish and shy and had a very difficult time going on walks at first when she was younger (especially without me there). Cindy worked with the puppy and myself, coaxing her along to show her that walks were fun and not scary! She is now much more confident and loves exploring on her walks with her big brother. Cindy has been a lifesaver in more than just becoming an integral part of our puppy family - she's saved the day more than once when I had to work late, we had to rush out of town for a family emergency or just for my husband and I to get away and have a break from the "kids." Cindy and her husband are AMAZING! I have 2 small dogs and travel often for work. I brought them to Cindy - they had full reign of the house and yard, she made them some homemade treats to eat, slept with them on the couch because they were nervous away from home, took them on individual walks and sent me daily pictures on how they were doing. Additionally the limit in number of dogs allowed was comforting - I knew my babies would get a ton of one on one attention - and they did!! I cannot make a higher recommendation!! Relax, Cindylou's got the pets! We have had the pleasure of knowing Cindylou since 1999. Our Rottweiler and 2 Lab mix Pups loved her, would wimper whine and dance all around when they heard her come in our house. She pet sat for us (we had 3 cats at the time too) and everything was always taken care of, we knew we could relax when we couldn't be home. She cried with us when all of those pets eventually passed and she was always concerned and helpful with medicine when they needed it. Cindy was with me when our last Lab Shadow was passing away and helped me decide it was time to take her trip to the sky, (I was so emotional it was difficult to be make a rational decision about it) she cried with me and even helped carry her to the car (I was alone). Now that those pets have all passed she now helps with our new pets including puppy visits for our Cattle Dog who couldn't go out in public until he was 16 weeks. She would let him out of his pen/crate/playyard and take him potty then gave him llove and lots of tiny treats while making sure he was polite (easy Mac!) and sitting. I can not say enough how thankful I am that I found Cindy to watch my dog when we took a trip recently. I had left my dog at a kennel that a friend recommended in the past but I worried about her my whole trip, and she had kennel cough when I returned.
