Hope you don't mind, it's pretty lengthy but just had to share...Our older fur baby, Zoey had her massage session yesterday. She's had limited mobility for almost 2 months now and has been receiving in home chiropractic care after initial vet visit/x-Ray to identify problem (she was completely immobile for 2 weeks). Tabitha identified a pretty good sized knot near her tailbone on one size. She worked her magic hands and gave us some suggestions for continuing massage therapy and range of motion on front leg going forward with Zoey at home. This morning our girl ran down our back stairs (13 of them) before we even realized it was her & not her brother and was able to help guide her back up! To top that, she shocked us by coming upstairs inside the house on her own b/c I was up there working! She hasn't been upstairs, and seldom before, for almost 2 months. This is amazing progress for an almost 11yr old, 90lb fur baby . We couldn't be happier or more appreciative of all the services Waggerz has offered to our family and the area. We find the staff caring, compassionate and all the services reasonably priced. We appreciate the use of natural products that are healthier for our 3 fur babies. Ashley is unparalleled and I give her the highest of recommendations for anyone that needs a little extra TLC for their pup. She has always taken such great care of my Trip Murphy each month. I know I'm leaving him in the very best hands when I drop him off at Waggerz Groom Room. Everyone from the owner to the receptionist to the groomers..... well just about every single one of them treat my pup and me like a million bucks when they see us arrive and during his pick up. I always think to myself, "They must tell everyone their pup is the very best, most behaved, handsome and their favorite of all!" I could not recommend this small business more favorably. I love all of the staff for being such loving dog people and making each experience there quite special. We CAN'T wait to get our autumn photo next to the beautiful new wall of fall flowers and wooden spool next month. It is really something phenomenal when your dog goes in so willingly, tail wagging into a grooming. They spoil him and he loves them so! So does his "Mom". Thanks to this small business and all they do for the pups in the Cleveland area of 40-42 behind Smithfield's. I don't know what we would do without them! read more

Well It helps my dog is a "cover girl" and made the website! We have 4 dogs, including a special needs baby who has disabilities and a hard core "fear" of noises, machinery, air...you name it. But they did GREAT with her! She loves her groomies now! I also have a German Shepherd (read: big, ball of sheddy hair!). Half of him is usually on my living room floor. Not anymore. I put him on their Deshed Program and he goes every six weeks...now their floors have all the hair! My other "problem child" is a yorkie who hates having his face trimmed. Well, he hops and hops up and down now when he sees he is at Waggerz! Loves the staff there, they all spoil him, even though he's rotten! So, I have never had any issues with a bad cut, rudeness or the staff. Maybe people have unrealistic expectations? I love the girls at Waggerz! read more

Went to Waggarz and was satisfied with Jakes first cut, the second visit to Waggarz the Hair cut was a bit longer, the third it seemed as though they did not even cut his head . I contacted Waggarz and I explained that his hair is now in his eyes, before I could go on the girl on the phone told me that my husband had picked out half inch comb for the cut. Jakes first cut was a 5/8 . So if my husband picked a comb that would cut more off than the first cut why did he come home with longer hair?????? She went on the defensive and said to me if I called three days after she would help but it was two weeks now. The attitude was terrible there was no apologies therefore there's no more business. read more

Met w/ "Reid" last week to get information about services offered by Waggerz. Was relieved and encouraged after learning they have been an established business for about 10 years. He was very patient and answered my many questions. I took my 1yr old rescue miniature poodle in today for his first full grooming session. I must say "Jess" did a great job grooming Buddy and I appreciated her calming way with him. I plan to continue taking Buddy back to Waggerz. Waggerz is a super amazing salon that caters to special needs babies (like my three legged dog with Addison disease and my hard to groom yorkie!) they are the best groomers in the Triangle and worth the drive no matter where you are ! I told my friends and they drove in from Wake Forest for the special treatment all our dogs get! The management is serious about the health of your pups and their comfort! And I couldn't be happier with the 7 step DeShed! Waggerz rocks and the only people who complain are usually bringing horribly matted dogs in or Karen's with entitlement issues. read more

After getting turned down on every grooming place that I called, I was afraid that Waggerz had a space for my babies. I being using Pet Smart for years, since they were born and unfortunately both Garner stores are awful, the personnel is very disrespectful, my experience at the White Oak was frustrated and the Garner store was fine until last two times. Will never go back again. The difference was from earth to heaven, at Waggerz the girls were very welcoming and treat me and my dogs like their own. Thanks girls. See you every week. read more

I love sending our clients to Waggerz for several reasons. They carry natural products so your dog is safe and healthy. And they specialize with dogs who have behavioral issues and need extra care to help them feel secure. I happened to be there when Tabitha was working with a dog who didn't like his face touched. She was extremely patient and effective working him through it. The atmosphere is clean and friendly. The staff is always courteous. This is the best as far as pet grooming and care go! We have 2 lab mixes that frequently groom at Tabitha's. Our 2 dogs always feel at home when they visit Waggerz and are pampered all the way! I love how clean and cute (bandana bibs and all!) they are when we get them home. One of our dogs has severe hip dysplasia and the groomers are especially careful and attentive to her needs. Given their background in veterinary care, this is the only place we send our dogs to. We trust Tabitha and the groomers 100%! read more

I never would have thought it possible, but our dog actually gets excited to go see her groomers! We've been bringing our 100lb shepherd to Waggerz for about a year and a half now and they do a wonderful job with her 7-step deshed. What they are phenomenal at is groom-side manner. Our pup is a rescue and it takes trust and patience to earn her love. They have shown that in spades. She even lets them clean her ears and she won't even let the vet do that ;) Many thanks to the team!! read more

The best place to get your dog groomed in the area by far! Always so friendly when I drop off my dog Willow. They take extra care with Willow because she has some back and leg problems. I always feel comfortable leaving her in their care. Willows groom is always perfect and what I asked for. I took my Pomeranian to waggerz and my groomer Roxanne did an amazing job. The employees there are great, super friendly, and treated my dog as if she were their own. My favorite part about waggerz is everything they use is all natural, I also love the custom shampoo bar and picking out what scent I want my pup to smell like!! She came home feeling soft as ever! I took my little girl to be groomed (she is a cavipoo) and Frannie did such a great job, she looks just beautiful. I wanted her cut shorter and all that fuzz on her face cut off for the summer. Frannie listened and did want I wanted. Pickles had some nasty mats in her tail, but Frannie cut them out and blended it in so you can't even see it. I would recommended her and Waggerz Groom room to everyone. read more

We just had our first visit to Waggerz and I couldn't be happier! They were able to squeeze in a last-minute request, and were all smiles and friendly faces when I dropped my dog off. The staff is exceedingly competent and knows what they're doing, they gave great guidance in getting a good cut for my dog, and their Deshed treatment works wonders, they got rid of so much hair. I was in town visiting some friends with my golden lab. In playing around, she ended up rolling in something I really wish she hadn't. Not being at home, a friend recommended Waggerz. I cannot say enough good things about Waggerz (see my Google review). The staff are great with dogs, and my Aussie did so well for a first time full grooming day (shampoo, cut, nails, teeth brushed), especially since we needed to get some extra deshedding done. His coat is as soft as when he was a puppy, and he smells SO good! I will be back! read more

Disappointed reading some negative reviews, as it seems some owners have unrealistic expectations for a groomer.
