Absolutely Incredible! This place is so nice. The staff is so nice. Our sweet little pup Ila tried to bite the groomer while getting her ears cleaned, AND they still did an amazing job. She came home happy, smelling good, with clean ears, amazingly. I erased the text to remember who groomed her after her stay, but they did an absolute amazing job. Sorry about our sweetheart trying to bite you. Thanks again, you did a great job on her. The groomer, and a special thank you to Lauren, who really was so nice when we went to visit, she convinced us on that visit that Wagging Tails was the right spot for us. We are so glad we made that decision. Ila was so happy to be home, but we could tell she was cared for excellently. Every time we watched her on the pet cam, the staff was so nice to her. Our golden retriever puppy loves his play dates at Wagging Tails. I watch him on the webcams and he just has the best time playing with the other dogs. All the other dogs seem well behaved, we have no concerns taking our beloved pup here. We've toured and taken our pup to other daycares in town and this one was the obvious choice. The facility is large, clean, and bright (with access for dogs to go outside in the backyard if they'd like), the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and they have real-time high resolution webcams. We were super excited about this place and left our puppy for an over night. She came back with kennel cough. So, we brushed that away thinking well she's a puppy. We kept leaving her for day care and it was great! Then one day, I couldn't see her on the cameras and called the front desk. I asked about her and they told me that she was put on "puppy time out" really??? The reason; she was barking too much. :( No body puts my puppy in a corner!!! Hahaha! Wagging Tails Resort and the staff is amazing! My dogs and fosters have been going to Wagging Tails for over 11 years. I love the different rooms for different energy and play styles. The birthday club is amazing. But most importantly the care and love they give to our dogs and know their needs. Our newest a high energy GSD can be with the playful ready to romp dogs and my older boys can be in more of the chill room. Cameras for peace of mind or to check in on them, when I check in I see the play coach blowing bubbles with my youngest or my older two get some good belly rubs from the play coach. I have no anxiety or worries when dropping my fur kids of to Wagging Tails. read more

We bring our dog Lowry to Wagging Tails Pet Resort in Eagan and we've had an awesome experience with this place. The staff is awesome. They have webcams. They will do add-ons like take your dog on a walk or give them a kong. They will give your dog lunch and/or medication if they need it. They really do it all! We bought a package of 20 full-days. Because the more you buy you more you save so it ends up being about $23 a day when you buy the 20 day package. You can buy even more than that and get an ever better deal. read more

I've left this place a review in the past but recently I thought it best to do so again. I boarded my huskies there recently and really didn't think much about it. My kids boarded their dogs at another recently opened place in Eagan and Wow- what a difference! Without going into detail I will ALWAYS bring my furpeople to Waggin Tails. I'm always surprised how the staff knows my pets and they seem to also really love them, and sometimes our Jenny is not the easiest, but she is happy and can not contain her excitement when we pull up. I just use the grooming services at Wagging Tails, but we have followed Ben from previous establishments. . Wagging Tails has always treated Jasper as one of the regular day care gang and for that i am truly grateful. I leave him there shaking nervously and am reassured that like a toddler he is fine the minute I leave. He absolutely looks happy and so much cleaner and wonderfully groomed when I pick him up! We couldn't wait for grooming to open back up after the pandemic closing. There were no complaints at how badly I botched up the home grooming trials and what had to be corrected. Hahah. Took my dog there on 06/19-06/21. He developed kennel cough on 06/23. I left a comment on their kennel cough page inquiring as to their policy if your dog gets kennel cough from their facility because the few other facilities I've been to offer to cover the vet bill for kennel cough. They've removed my comment asking about their policy, gave me a phone call and very kindly told me to get bent. read more

We love Wagging Tails and so does our pooch Diohgé. We had a horrible experience with grooming at another establishment and took him to WT. At WT, they treat Diohgé so well that now he actually likes to go and get groomed! He wags his tail when he sees Amanda. We've had him stay there for several nights and just play in daycare. He has a ton of fun and I like being able to watch him on the video cams. I would highly recommend WT to anyone! read more

Perfect place for our husky - we have been Wagging Tails customers for over 6 years and have never been disappointed. They take care of our husky as their own - my dog loves this place. I'm from out of town and I called Wagging Tails to board my Maltese over the holiday while I was visiting Maple Grove. I called about 2 weeks in advance. I spoke to two women over the course of a week, Angie and Leah, who were very helpful in answering all my questions about their facility, staff, daytime schedules, and suites since I was booking my dog there sight unseen. They booked my dog at the Bloomington location. Upon landing in MN and arriving at Wagging Tails, the receptionist was happy to give me and my dog a tour of the facility and show me exactly where he'd be staying. I watched the TV monitor in the lobby as my dog was taken into the play room and introduced to 25 other dogs. They also didn't mind when I called every day to check on him. When I picked him up, they had given him a complimentary bath. He was excited and cheerful and it seemed like he had a very good experience there. I would definitely take him back again. read more

Staff really is very nice. I had my dog boarded for the weekend and she came back with matts in her hair(she's never had one..) and her whole tummy was covered in pee as if they didn't let her out and she was forced to sleep in her pee.. i feel they give more attention and love to their favorites. I was looking for a special place to bring my Vinnie since his senior buddy passed away this last winter - I found it in Wagging Tails Pet Resort! Vinnie is happy again - a playful pup who has new fur friends and human friends who give him a safe and fun place to play and get great care. Vinnie had a special sPaw day for his birthday and he smelled so good afterwards! His groomer did a wonderful job in helping Vinnie take in his first grooming session - so patient and kind. Additionally they celebrated his birthday in style - a card, picture, party, and sweet, thoughtful gift. I thoroughly enjoy the cameras in the play areas as, when time permits, I can watch all of the fun the doggies are having. It is clear to me the staff LOVE their jobs and the doggies!!! I feel so good giving my Vinnie his days at Wagging Tails Pet Resort and I look forward to the times when I need to board him - I am 100% confident he will have more fun than me on vacation! My dog loves this place and I can see why - the facility is clean, there are staff present in every play room, and there are A LOT of dogs to play with. My only problem is that this place is too busy for its own good. They seemed swamped with dogs and borders and a result there customer service really suffers. For example, I was told that you never need a reservation for daycare unless it is the holiday season. You can imagine my surprise when I showed up in March and they told me that they were full and couldn't take my dog. As a result we have found another place... read more

This facility has been such a wonderful opportunity for our dog. We are forced to rehome him with a friend and, on his last day, the care provider cried because he was so special to them. All through his behavioral concerns, they were right there with me, checking in and letting me know how he did all day. I bring my dog here for daycare 2-3 times per week. The staff is friendly & are wonderful with my dog. They also have boarding and grooming services but I have not tried either. I had to leave town for work and booked a 2 week stay for my Bichon. When I picked him up his back end was covered with poop, along with his tail and chest. It was all dried on and took a couple shampoos to remove. He also reeked of urine as if another dog peed on him. His eyes were full of fur and other debris, and his face was very tear stained. I left him with 13 days of food for his 12 day stay, and got 3 days worth back, which means he had no fresh food for 2 of the days he stayed there. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone who cares for their pet. When I contacted the place about the condition of my dog, all they offered was a bath, and to cover the vet bill if my dog should have an eye infection. He died 4 weeks later of an infection that went to his brain. read more

Dear ASPCA, I would like to report a kennel we used over the Labor Day weekend. We left our dog at Wagging Tails, Eagan (MN), on Thursday, August 30th. I was instructed to bring food so I put together eleven bags of pre measured 1/4 cup meals. I also brought her food dish, water dish, crate, crate cover, blanket, and toys. Wagging Tails was not open on Labor Day so I went to get our dog on Tuesday at 7a. Being a white Maltese I could see as she was brought to me that she was dirty. No problem. However, when I went to pick her up I got a handful of feces that was matted into her rear and hind quarters. I was disgusted and put her down and went to wash my hands. I told the person at the front desk what I found and all she could say was she was sorry. I asked for her things and was told her crate and bedding were, "in the wash". I demanded that they be brought to me. When I got her bedding I was shocked at what she slept in. So shocked I took pictures when I got home. As soon as I got home I gave our dog a bath. After I dried her off I noticed that there were still spots of feces that I missed. I call a groomer and got her an immediate appointment. While she was at her appointment I started to wash her bedding and go through her things. I then noticed that of the eleven bags I had left for five days worth of meals, nine were returned. That means that in five days she ate 1/2 a cup of food. I put a posting on the Wagging Tails Facebook site relaying my complaint and all they said in response was essentially, sorry we were closed on Labor Day. read more

Now I cannot even get them to answer the phone and when they did I was informed that they only have one groomer in the summer and its at least a 12 day wait for grooming unless I wanted to be put on a waiting list. I should not even have wasted my time calling. Its the same thing every time. read more

I found Wagging Tails on Google, first hit on the search, and the only call I made. They took all my info over the phone, no paperwork to fill out, they called the vet for the records which was good for me because this was a last minute thing. We left Belcourt, ND and drove to Minnesota arriving about 9am. We walked in, they were waiting for us, took the dogs to an area for group interaction testing (same as any day care/ kennel I have ever been to) and then released into "General Population". I watched them on camera for a bit, tails wagging, butt sniffing, running and having fun. I asked the desk if we could board them if we needed to. They told us to just call and let them know. That night, I called and left a message to ask them to put the dogs in 1/2 day play the next morning, and if it was a problem to call me, otherwise if I don't hear anything it would be ok. No phone call, which allowed me to sleep, which I really needed. My older dog had meds that needed to be given, and he is a shy dog. I can tell when he has fun or if the business was not as good with them as they should be. I can honestly say, the only problem I had was the attitude I got from my dog when we had to leave. he gave me the cold shoulder all the way home. I can tell he was well cared for, and he had fun. My little dog will just go with the flow, she doesn't care one way or the other, but Corey does. If he is having fun it is like a little kid that gets his toys taken away. All I can say is thank you for the last minute drop-off, the last minute overnight, and the last minute 1/2 day play. If things are this easy, I know who to call when I go to Minnesota. read more

We have been using Wagging Tails for a long time, however, we were very disappointed with our recent stay. When we picked up our dog he was soaking wet from being outside. He also was not fed properly per our instructions. To top it off, he got kennel cough and is very sick! This is the second time he has got it and he always is up to date on his vaccinations! Seems they have got to busy to care which is disappointing. We are going to look for alternatives now. read more

I've been taking my dog to Wagging Tails Pet Resort on a weekly basis for several months and he LOVES it! It's nice to be able to watch him on the web cams and I can see him playing literally all day. He is so tired out when we bring him home. Since he is a puppy (8 months) it has been a great way to properly socialize him and now he loves to play with other dogs and he plays very nicely! The rooms are broken out by size of dog so I know as my puppy grows he will be able to play with the appropriate sized dog, not that it matters to him. The staff is extremely friendly and knows us by name when we walk in. They definitely spoil the dogs like they are their own. The facility is amazing; they have a nice indoor and outdoor area which is all well maintained. I've also had my dog groomed there and he came back fresh and clean with perfectly clipped nails! I was nervous having his nails clipped because I've experienced with other locations that they do not know what they are doing and clip too far down the nail. I have been very pleased with Waggin Tails. Our dog just turned two years old. He has not been properly socialized and I suspect that he was pulled from his litter at too young of an age. When he was one year old we took him to a dog daycare in St Paul for an evaluation. Not only did he flunk, they chased him in order to get a leash on him; so that night he ran away from me when I tried to take him for a walk. My previous experience with dog daycare caused me great concern as I made the call to Waggin Tails. I cannot be more pleased with the folks at Waggin Tails. They worked with our dog to get him comfortable enough to play with other dogs on the first day. It was a joy to see him on the cameras running around. The staff is kind, thoughtful and caring. The evaluation day is even free! They take great care of our dog and I trust them to provide a good experience. Our dog will be a regular visitor to the resort now.
