At renewal, my premium increased from about $80 to $135 per month, yet service has noticeably declined. The claims I submit are the same ongoing claims that have been processed for years, but reimbursements that were once handled promptly now take weeks. As a result, I'm left covering hundreds of dollars in veterinary expenses out of pocket while waiting for payment. I submitted multiple claims on May 7, and one still has not been processed. Notably, the only claims completed were most of the ones applied toward my deductible, while the reimbursement claim remains pending. Despite several phone calls, I have received only vague explanations and no clear timeline. As a longtime customer who has consistently paid premiums and referred friends and colleagues to Pumpkin, this has been extremely disappointing. The delays have also affected my confidence in scheduling veterinary care because I can no longer rely on timely reimbursement and may have to carry significant costs for an unknown period. No customer facing steep premium increases should be put in that position. After reading recent reviews, it appears many other customers are experiencing similar delays, suggesting this may be a broader issue rather than an isolated case. My little Chihuahua was 6 going on 7 when I signed him up and everything was great until each year randomly my minimum coverage would go up. It went up each year and it got to the point that it was just too much to pay for a healthy dog each month. His visits were only a once a year type of thing for his annual exams to the vet. And only one year while I was using the insurance did he get a little sick that we had to do a sick visit at my local vet. The only reason I stopped the insurance is that I was spending $1,200+ a year and barely consuming any of the insurance benefits. Otherwise, this is a great company to use for your dog - especially senior dogs. If I ever need insurance again, I know exactly who to go to and recommend. Pumpkin is amazing!

She was empathetic, informative, and just being genuinely helpful. I had a great experience talking to her and she also gave me some helpful information on insurance policies in general etc. Just a very nice person and being nice will pay off eventually. I also got a quote from another brokerage called Sammy's and they were one of those typical poker face insurers and the rates were not as good as Farmers. Thumbs up for Christina. I've had this insurance for two of my pets for 9 years…read more They're not very intelligent and deny my claims for pre-existing conditions my pets don't even have (confirmed by specialists they've been to). They've also made up reasons to deny other claims (for example, my cat broke his jaw and needed dental surgery, but they erroneously claim this is a dental cleaning, so it's not covered). I'm stuck with this insurance though because my pets are now seniors and have gotten medical conditions over the years. I have a different pet insurance company for two of my other pets, and they're wonderful. There's never any drama, and I've never had issues before. PetPremium is trash, and I regret signing up with them.

Global represents itself as "an honest client advocate, trusted advisor," and... How I was treated: I received no offer of assistance. Instead and without any meaningful inquiry was advised the damage was attributable to "negligence on my part," and they went directly into a discouraging repertory listing all the ominous ramifications connected with filing a claim... Doing so would remain in my history, would likely result in a claim denial, increased premiums or even potential revocation of coverage... an outcome which I would obviously want to avoid. I had the distinct impression that their primary objective was not to assist a longstanding Global patron resolve their predicament, but to extinguish a good faith inquiry and a possibly valid claim. I was hung up on when I disagreed with their assessment and they later refused my request to speak with a superior or assign me another employee. I ended up taking my multiple policies to another agent and filed my own claim without help... which was shortly approved and paid. My advice..... take your business elsewhere
