This is a terrible company. They truly do not care about doing good business. First, they came and immediately started doing weekly services on my broken pool. We LITERALLY could not run this pool, but they didn't care. They just kept sending guys to do services on a pool that has a massive leak in the pipes and cannot hold water. I should've known then and there what kind of people these were, but I kept my mouth shut. Then, 4 weeks after opening the broken pool, they came and dug a massive hole to look for the leak and said they'd be back the next day. They've disappeared for an entire week. I call the office, and the lady on the phone plays stupid. The least they could do is not treat me like an idiot, but no. She literally asked "oh they never came back?" WTF are we doing here? Do they not manage their own employees? So either she's lying or the entire management is incompetent. Either way, it's a massive failure on their end. I've been waiting since the start of May for them to start working to find this leak. They started last week (June), did barely a full days work, and then they disappear. These people will waste your time, destroy your backyard, and then never come back. They are truly incompetent at customer service. They do respect you. They're not worth the time. Good salesmen poor work. Built brand new indoor pool. Pool finish heavily mottled. They said that I had accepted it that way when I signed the completion paperwork so that they could get paid. A twelve year old would have done a better job. All they did was keep brushing the surface. Drained pool twice. Then said it was due to chemicals! Well, guess who was treating the pool with chemicals. It was a lie. I didn't trust them to remove and reinstall the finish. Run don't walk to Acqua Tech the real pros! My parents tried getting a pool from this company, and they COMPLETELY scammed them. DO NOT GO HERE FOR A POOL!! The company is a complete scam and took $40,000 dollars from my parents just to put a porta-potty in our backyard and nothing else. They are still going to court with them to this day to try and get the money back. My brother is on the Autism spectrum, and on top of spending money on therapy and schooling for him, my parents tried to get a pool so that he could swim (his favorite thing to do). This has put a huge financial strain on my family and we are doing everything we can to beat this company and get our money back. This company is a joke, and they are TERRIBLE! Do not go here!!!! NO STARS! They are awful and do not deliver a quality product. They are non responsive and many things have gone wrong. Project has taken way too long and there is zero communication or schedule. i just won a court judgement against this company AND the owner. they tried to keep the money I paid them for a pool design contract that they never even started! they not only LIED several times on when they would refund me my money, but they then only refunded a fraction of my money after i told them i will see them in court if i dont get my refund. Thankfully, i prevailed in court and am now preparing to place lien(s) on both the business and the owner personally to insure i get my money. They are dishonest, unscrupulous and looking to take advantage of customers every chance they get, which was the case with me. Update: I deleted my original post after the business posted MY PERSONAL ADDRESS. This was an attempt to defend the distance I am from the company - but then don't advertise that you service my area or tell me that you do. However, in response to their previous response, which I assume they'll post here (hopefully without my address) - the lies continue. The appointment was confirmed when we made it on the phone the first time - I was never asked to call back or confirm, I did not have to check with my "husband" (my husband works from home, so there is no need to check his schedule). Joe finally called me the day after our scheduled meeting to reschedule - but never discussed any of the items Wagner is claiming in their response. It's frightening that they cannot admit simple scheduling mistake - god forbid they made a mistake on the construction end, I can only imagine how they would handle that. I don't know how a company could continue to be so awful - admit a mistake happened and move on, no need to lie to try to defend themselves. It is inevitable that mistakes will happen - how you handle them is what's important - this company handled them beyond poorly. End of Story. Short Story - Head contractor bailed on our consult then tried to claim it was never scheduled. Honestly - just man up and say you mis-scheduled. Would not recommend. Long Story - Spoke with the head contractor on the phone where he stated he would be in our area today for another consult in a neighboring town and asked if 11 or 12 would be good for a consult. I said 11 would be best, I have to leave around 11:30 for a meeting but my husband would be able to stay for the remainder of the meeting. At 11:05 I called his cell and left a message I then called the Company and spoke with Debbie (I think was her name or Desi?) who claimed he had left 45 minutes ago and should be there shortly but that she would try him and get back to me. At 11:17 I called both the head guy and the company line back again - Debbie again said she'd try to get ahold of them and call me back (not sure why she didn't call me back the first time). At 11:35 I called both back AGAIN - no answer from the head contractor and this time Debbie claimed nothing was ever scheduled. I asked why she didn't call me back, she claimed she was 'just about to.' Top it off - NO apologies for wasting my time and never asked to reschedule the consult. Wagner has been servicing my pool since installation a few years ago. They do a wonderful job and are a pleasure have provide this service. I highly recommend them for service and new swimming pool project design and installation. Yelp - Please don't block my review! Previous blocked review below from 4/20/2015: I hired Wagner Pools to build a high end swimming pool project, patio, retaining walls, and pool house in the late fall of 2013. I had always wanted to build a nice pool project for my family and for entertaining. I have many friends that have used Wagner and they all told me over the years that Wagner is the best. They lived up to there reputation. I had a somewhat difficult site that proved to not be a problem for Wagner. They constructed a 19' x 40' rectangle , gunite swimming pool with a raised spa that was veneered with fieldstone to match my my Wagner installed retaining walls. The pool and spa are controlled by a state of the art computer control system that I can control from my iPhone. This enables me to turn the spa heat on as I'm on my way home from work, which is wonderful. I installed a recessed automatic cover to keep the pool locked up when not in use and the heat in. I installed their in-floor cleaning system, ozone/uv sanitizing, Tahoe Blue pebble finish, LED lighting, and underwater speakers. All were well worth it. Wagner's masonry work is top notch and looks beautiful. There was town required site drainage that was required to be installed and Wagner took care of this with ease. The pool house tops off the project by creating another recreation area to relax in away from the house. My family and I have very much been enjoying relaxing, exercising, and kids playing all summer long. I highly recommend Wagner! read more

The company was responsive until we had an issue: the city of Stamford wanted us to move our septic system in order for us to get a permit for the pool.We had asked Wagner before the contract was signed if there was an issue beyond our control, would they refund our deposit? The sales person, Tim said of course. Since the cost to move our septic was prohibitive, we contacted Wagner to let them know that we could not continue with the project. Despite assurances from Tim and Michael, one of the owners, that they would refund our deposit minus legit expenses, they have not responded at all to our requests. No returned phone calls, emails, or letters. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are also not members of the Better Business Bureau. UPDATE: We had to sue the company to get most of our money back, which we ultimately did! read more

Workmanship is substandard and sloppy. One crew does the wrong thing and the next one makes it even worse. the main office does not have a clue as to what is going on and does not spot check the work that has been done to insure quality. The prices are extremely high and you DO NOT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! The company charges you for mistakes that their men make. They do not take care of business and just rip you off...no one is capable of evaluating what is wrong and fixing it! read more
