Chef Troy is there...went on a Saturday..roadie trip to Suncrest wow!...mucho dellish!!!...Chicken Fried Steak enuff for 4 people 3 slices of warm buttery sour dough toast..Eggs any way you want em..and then and then The real upon real hash browns CRISPY..just super crunch.. I've been here a few time since moving here a year ago. Friendly service each time. Breakfast is fresh and large quantity. The omelette was huge! The Philly cheese was great as well. Sometimes takes a bit for the food to arrive but it's always worth it. Karaoke is fun to watch as well. Good place to watch sporting events as well read more

Simple food done well, fairly priced! We came here on Christmas Eve, in the midst of family craziness, we needed to have a little time away. The Wagon Wheel was pretty quiet when we arrived, but the we were served decent coffee quickly. Once we placed our orders, the food came lightning fast. For breakfast, this is a diner, so the food was not extraordinary, but it was fresh and it was tasty. The server was attentive and friendly. Most of all the prices were very reasonable. Stopped in for breakfast this morning and it was actually pretty good food! I got the breakfast sandwich and the flavor on rye bread with bacon and an egg. The overall flavor was good! I did add avocado to it and feel it probably could have used another egg but it was still pretty good. My husband got the wagon which has hash browns, eggs, veggies, and several breakfast meats and it was tasty! I was tempted to see if he'd switch with me. My brothers pancakes were massive and he said they were good too. Tried moms breakfast steak and it had a good flavor and wasn't dry. Also tried dads biscuits and gravy and that was pretty good too. Overall it was a good diner style breakfast so, based on other reviews, I'm guessing they have a different cook for lunch and dinner. Our server was also good. We never had to flag her down for anything, granted we were the only ones there at the time. But I would definitely recommend trying this spot out for breakfast if you're in the area. Waitress was lovely and sweet. Cat fish was very good. Two stars due to the rest of the food we ordered. Two of the orders had the wrong sides which were corrected. Rib eye was nothing more than fat, grit and almost impossible to cut. Loaded baked potatoes were room temperature at best. The side salad was very fresh. We asked for bloody Mary's and after finding out they use a bottle mix and tomato juice decided against it and got a Corona instead. Ordered a Mule( which was a suggested drink on the drink list that was on our table) and was asked by the waitress what it was and how it was made. Seems like there was no bartender in a Bar. We were there on a Tuesday 4:00 possibly that was our mistake. Not worth the 40 minutes drive we made to get there. read more

I live in Suncrest, and we decided to try this place for breakfast. I can't say I was impressed, my eggs were kinda runny, and they just had an overall dirty feel. The table was sticky, there were flies flying around, my plate was chipped on the side.. Overall just kinda gross. read more

I made the mistake of taking my friends and family to this bar to have a drink after dinner out. Our age ranges from 30 to 60 we are considerate business owners and had 10 in our party. The bartender when we asked how she was doing replied "tired". She was rude and not pleasant at all. Wish we would have spent our money and time elsewhere. After getting our drinks and going to the outdoor patio, an over served guy knock a table over breaking glasses and grabs the woman he was sitting with by the neck and held her up against the wall. Everyone told him to knock it off and leave. No help from the poorly run staff who were tired at 7 pm on a Friday night. We all left our drinks and headed for home. Way too classless of a bar to ever spend a dime in again. Nobody likes being with overserved drunk patrons who are disrespecting women. If that's the kind of class of people that go there and the waitress not wanting to help you I would not recommend this bar and grill to anybody. read more

It was an easy place to stop at as we were in a hurry one night. Soda tasted flat and our orders weren't quite right, but it was a busy night so we understood. My advice is to call in advance to see how busy they are and confirm your order a couple times. It was very clean and the staff was nice for the most part. This was our first time here. On Fridays their special is Prime Rib. 3 in our party ordered it and were happy with the taste and it was a good size. I had the meatloaf and it was good as well. Friday's are a busy time and the waitress was still very attentive and even came back to let us know the kitchen was backed up and there would be a wait for our meals so we ordered chips & salsa something that she could get for us and didn't have to come from the kitchen . Ordered from their online menu which had a direct link to call to place an order. When I got there to pick up the food it's was several more $$ then what the online menu said. Then I was told that it wasn't even their menu even though it's the same menu at the restaurant besides the prices and it had a direct link to call the location. If this is the case and they are aware of this menu get it removed or corrected as ownership has the ability to do so. Worst case scenario is to ask people when they call if they are looking at the online menu and let customers know the pricing is incorrect at the time of order. Burger was mediocre at best. Not to mention the women putting my burger together was not using gloves of any sort. Lived in the area 15 years and this place has changed ownership several times. We were looking for a place close to nine mile falls open earlyish for breakfast and we found this place. Service was a tad on the cold-shoulder side, not pleasant but not outright rude. Absolutely awful. Worked there for two weeks and I had to quit due to the lack of communication between the workers, the work environment was awful and gross, and the attitude of generally everyone there was hideous. Plus the kitchen staff DO NOT wear gloves when preparing food, when I asked Bre, the kitchen manager why, she told me it's because the gloves are " too expensive" for us to wear and change all the time while handling and preparing food. Not to mention none of the food back there is dated, so you never know when the food was cut and prepared!! There are only two good people who work there was the dish washer kris and a bartender named Heidi. The rest were just mean, self righteous and thought they were better than everybody else. The kitchen was god awful gross, grease everywhere, grease leaking from the flat top, dust and grime all over the walls, absolutely NOT a place to prepare food for human consumption!!! Would NEVER recommend ANYBODY to go there for food or drinks. The owners treat the staff like the scum between their toes, there is a reason they can't keep anybody employed there!!! read more

Holy moly! New owners and it shows!! We have had breakfast here several times over the last few months and it's phenomenal. They serve REAL French toast, not the frozen stuff they slap on the grill. The price is super reasonable and the quality is unrivaled within a 20-30 miles. We agree that this is one of the best, if not THE best breakfast places around. read more

Don't go here if you're hungry - talk about SLOW!!! We went for a late breakfast and we were the only ones in the place - 4 whole people! It was at least 1/2 hr after we ordered before we saw any food. When it did arrive - 2 orders were incorrect and the chicken fried steak was like shoe leather - not edible! Not only that but the server couldn't even remember who ordered what - remember, it's not like she was busy! Would hate to see what happens with 6 people! I wasn't sure how I would like this place, given the look of the outside. It isn't bad by any means, but not as inviting as it could be, and the smoking area is in the front, by the front door. Hubby and I went in here with my parents when they were visiting and it has since become our favorite local place to go. Great food, french dip sandwiches are the best, the bartender/guest chef is a really nice guy. Some of the wait staff could have more of a personality, but get the job done. We watched the superbowl here and there was tons of free food/appetizers. They usually have a guest band or karaoke on the weekends which is alot of fun to watch. So I went here with a friend a month or so ago and was not impressed. First off the "special" bottles they had on the counter top that were supposed to be cheaper per shot or drink were the same price as any other regular drink or shot. Secondly, when I paid in cash the bartender ( who owns the place) kept my change! It was only a couple dollars but it was mine to tip not hers to take! I watched her as she walked back and forth a couple times then slid it right into her pocket! My friend and I were disgusted. Besides that on a separate occasion I went in for just a quick beer and sat there listening to the same owner lady complain to one of her waitresses about customers. Wow, I will never go back there. We are a small community and just because I'm not a local nightly drinker doesn't mean you can take advantage of me.
