I was always a fan of Uncle Clay's House of Pure Aloha. Super sad when they closed some years back! Let me just say Island Shave Ice & Creamery is my new favorite! Sunset is the perfect blend of Strawberry, Pineapple, Banana - love the flavors, plus we upgraded to add Dole whip ice cream. Their mochi is the real kine mochi balls, super soft, and offsets the sweetness right when you need it! Grateful for the generous number of mochi balls. I peeped the ice cream and it looked creamy soft. Might have to order a pint to go next time since I'm pretty much a sucker for their shave ice now. I might try other flavors but already sold on the Sunset. The service is great, they even made sure to acknowledge us since they were still finishing up another order when we walked in. That is so rare these days and much appreciated! Love the intentionality behind the menu and the service here and will be sure to continue supporting this business. Divine timing today!

Flavors: Mango (good), Peach (awesome, but too little cuz its just a thin strip wedged between 2 flavors), lilikoi (horrible... tasted like cough syrup... ). The portions are decent sized for the price. My friends had a Mango Shave Ice with condensed milk, mochi and ice cream (he loved it) and a chocolate hazelnut ice cream (whcih she said was good) but wasn't very satisfying maybe because she wanted Halo Halo only to find out its not available when we got to the counter to order. Since its a order and pick up at counter type of self service place we didn't really have an opinion on the service, but the staff at counter was nice enough. Overall, it was a nice cozy little place with air-conditioned indoor seating as well as benches outside. Plenty of parking in the lot and surrounding area when we went, maybe because it was during down time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to hangout somewhere to cool off during this crazy Super HOT El Niño summer.

Their gluten free options are really delicious! We also purchased the reusable Aulani cups that we could refill whenever we wanted. We filled it with water, sodas, coffee, teas, and hot chocolate! The service is also amazing!! Everyone is sooooo nice and helpful. The pricing is Disney pricing but not too expensive. There are tables right outside to sit. They hold a lot of people, so we shared them with other families a few times. The cafe was always clean, organized, organized, and stocked well. *Helpful tip: if you want the mickey mouse shaped spam masubi, you need to line up inside about 15 minutes early before they bring them out at 11am. We lined up at 10:45am and they sold out literally within 5 minutes. They're cute, delicious, and worth the wait! *Helpful tip: they have gluten free pizza crust at no extra charge :) *Helpful tip: They also have a microwave to use if you don't have one in your hotel room :)

Here is what we ordered: Fried Chicken, Summer Rolls, Stir-fried Chow Fun (Padsee-ew), Stir-fried Noodle (Pad Thai), Yellow Curry and Mixed Vegetable Stir-fried. For me the big winner was the yellow curry and the Pad Thai, but honestly everything was good. My only disappointment was that there was no soy sauce or other condiments. This place is located in Kapolei which is a quick drive from Ko'Olina. However, if we're ever feeling lazy and hanging out in Ko'Olina, I wouldn't hesitate to Doordash Supa Thai again. I've been to many Thai Restaurants where Chicken Pa-nang was packed with huge slices of red, yellow bell peppers, giant cuts of potato, and not much chicken. However, Supra Thai give lots of chicken different vegetable not giant chunks of bell powers, onions, or potatoes. Their springs rolls are huge and thick. You're served 5 whole ones. Downtown is three whole skinny cut in half for enormous price. These guys are the real deal! Came back later for combo chicken panang with springs rolls...the bomb! Explosive flavors!
