My dachshund's needed a new food as the food they had been on for a long time was causing them to scratch themselves. Probably do to a formula change in the food. I went into Wagsburgh and spoke with the owner who was extremely friendly and helpful. I told the owner that I had itchy dachshund's and asked what he recommended. The owner was extremely knowledgable about the products he carries and gave me a great recommendation. Our pups love the new food and they have stopped scratching. I always like dealing with a local small shops in the area even if I pay a few bucks more, Rather than give it to a huge chain store or a place like Chewy or Amazon. Do right for your local community and vendors always by local when you can

2 stars mostly for selection. Many fish. Also had snakes, lizards, turtles, a few birds, etc…read more However, the store was disorganized and messy. The aquariums didn't seem very clean. I also had a difficult tone finding an employee.

The rabbits and guinea pigs here are kept in terrible condition. I attached photos of the rabbits…read more They're kept in way too small of cages. The one rabbit didn't even really have any food. Rabbits are prone to digestion issues and need to be able to be constantly eating. There weren't any hideaways provided for them, or any toys for enrichment or to chew on and keep their teeth down. I didn't get pictures of the guinea pigs. Their cage was literally just stacked on top of the rabbits'. But they also didn't have any toys and no hideaways. Because of this, they were visibly super stressed out because they were kept front and center of the store and didn't have any place to hide and get away from the stressors. The top of their cage was also just open and I saw little kids reaching their hands in without any employees around to facilitate customers interacting with the animals like that. Honestly terrible for everyone involved because A.) The kids could get bit B.) It stresses out the animals C.) The animals are learning to be afraid of people are going to be difficult to socialize with anyone that takes them home and D.) Any germs on the kids' hands could easily be transmitted to the animals and make them sick. This store should just stick with fish honestly. I'm not as knowledgeable about the other kinds of animals they have as I am about guinea pigs and rabbits, but the owners definitely either don't care about the animals or are just really uneducated about the animals they're selling.

My dog was attacked by another dog during her 4 days stay, sustaining bite marks on her eye and paw, then we we're lied to about the severity (they had to carry her to the car). They have refused to return our calls since the incident, I have left 2 messages and called 4 times in the last week without any response. If you care about your pet, go somewhere else.

I was in need of some dog food and my regular place was closed…read more I Googled the dog food company and found out that Dog Stop carried the food. I headed over there as they are close. I pulled up and there was a group of people hanging out outside which I did not give much thought. I walked in and the place was empty. There was no one to be seen at all. I saw the brand food but they keep it behind the counter where customers can not go????. I waited about 10 minutes and finally a man and a woman walked in from outside. The man stayed on my side of the counter and the woman heads behind. She walked right by me and went in to the back room. Totally ignored me and went into back. The woman came out about 10 minutes later. By that time I was fuming mad having to wait 20 minutes almost. Finally when the woman came back she came up and asked what. What????? how about hello how can I help you today. Super pore customer service. I said I was intrested in the signature dog food in a 14 pound bag. She only had a few bags left and they where the bigger size. She said she did not even have an order in yet??? I said thanks anyway and left. I would never go here again. Totally rude customer service. I would recommend getting your food somewhere else. Also there selection of food is very poor.
