This is for takeout and not for the mongolian bbq side. I ordered beef chow fun (no bean sprouts) and requested it to be prepared spicy. One of my biggest irritations is when I request something to be prepared spicy at a Chinese restaurant and they just thow some sambal chili sauce in there. I don't care for the flavor it adds nor does it add any sense of spice to me. Well, Wah Sing didn't disappoint! I opened my togo box and was pleasantly surprised when I saw that it was fried with dried chilis! The chow fun was delicious ans had the right amount of spice for my taste. We had heard this place had been redone, I'm not sure where though. We haven't been here since way before the pandemic when my mom totally loved this, which was the only reason we went. Still looks like the same place except maybe the name change. The inside had a good tempt. I think it used to get cold inside. The menu still looks like the same ole' menus. We all had Mongolian and a Cpl of egg rolls. I thought they were vegetable but hubby said he thought there was supposed to have meat in it. The BBQ was what we each wanted so that was hard to mess up unless he didn't cook it. He did his job and it was cooked thoroughly. Ingredients were ok. I like that they had hand sanitizers and gloves at the beginning of the BBQ line. The server asked us about our drinks at the beginning and appetizers when we first got there but didn't really check on us after that, we just kinda had to pull him and say excuse me, may we have another Dr. Pepper, Diet Coke, fork, napkins, and bill and we placed the card with bill which he never picked up so hubby just had to go up to the front to pay. After a night of viewing Christmas lights, my family and I decided to check out Wah Sing Mongolian BBQ as Vallejo no longer has Princess Garden for awhile now..and we didn't know of any other place that has the All you Can Eat Mongolian BBQ. Prices are reasonable at about $15-$16 per adult for dinner! My son didn't want to eat much so he preferred ordering off the regular menu. Service was quick whether ordering off the menu or creating what you want in your Mongolian BBQ choices. There's a huge variety of choices for your stir fry on meats, fresh veggies and sauces. The man who fries it all up is quick and although quiet, seems pretty nice. The woman assisting with orders for the menu and clearing tables was also nice. We never had an issue and they were quick to assist us with anything we needed. If we are back in the area, I wouldn't mind coming back! read more

My only complaint is they could be more generous with the meat, like if you're ordering fried rice or egg foo young, but the food is still tasty. Overall recommend. Loved this place and came on a regular basis to build it just like I want it, cooking right there and then. Delicious! Moved back to the area in 2020 and couldn't believe it was still there. Could it be the same owners, same food, and same quality? YES!! Not the same cook but the original is still working in the back. They have one who makes it taste the same, and training another with the same memorable taste! Was told to contact Uber eats to fix it and get a refund. 30 minutes of dealing with Uber eats and still no resolution they make it so when they screw up, there's nothing we can do about it. The first time I tried this place we came in late and we tried the Mongolian bbq all you can eat.. it was my son little over 2 years old and my husband with me. we were charged extra for my son who barely ate anything and because i got a extra plate I was charged for another person. When I brought it up the server just said "WORD OF ADVISE NEXT TIME TO NOT GET AN EXTRA PLATE" which is weird because its all you can eat. Anyways we brushed it off and we just paid it and decided to leave. We then tried this place for the second time.. I just picked up to go and it just tasted funny so we just tossed it. It was completely over priced ($17) for chow mien. Well we tried it again the third time hoping that it was just off days. The experience in the restaurant was just dirty. I noticed a fowl odor flushing into the dining area like it was a compost/trash bin smell. The rice was very undercooked. We all just had upset stomach immediately after and did not go well until it was out of our system. My girlfriend and I love eating here especially last year. We normally get our food to go. The staff always recognizes us and is very nice and polite to us. However, I began to notice that when the chef with long hair cooks my food, his body language is very off. I understand having a bad day at work or maybe the food industry can be tiring so I let it go cause I enjoy the food but lately his body language has been coming off very rude. Now when I do AYCE I use a lot of sauce because I like to make sure the food gets seasoned and sometimes in the past it has made a mess in the sauce area but I will try and clean it up. So if he is annoyed by that, fine. But the last time my gf and I came, he just tossed my food on the grill and a lot of the broccoli and sauce fell off the side and the food was bland. But when I observed him serving the people after me, he carefully put their food on the grill and cooked their food longer. My gf has also observed that he does not wash his hands when serving us and will go straight from eating or being on his phone, to serving us. I really do enjoy this place but I, unfortunately, might have to take my business elsewhere. read more

At first I had a hard time finding it because the "Wah-sing" sign was so small ha. Anyway, this spot is one of those places that are great when you want to grub well and grub in peace. For my bowls I kept it pretty simple: noodles, beef, broccoli, and sauce. My sauce combo - 3 house special - 1 oyster - 1 hot/pepper I gotta say I enjoyed both my experiences. I had different servers each time, but they were both consistent in their speed and kindness. The food itself was exactly what I was looking for in a Mongolian bbq spot. I liked how it wasn't as sodium rich, or at least didn't taste as sodium rich, as other similar restaurants. If I'm in the area again I'm definitely going to stop by again! read more

Im a regular at this joint, usually the food is really good but my last couple experiences the food was a miss. The chicken chow mein i usually order smelled different this last time which shouldve been a red flag but bc i am a regular i didnt think anything of it and still fed it to my kids, my daughter and husband both have food poisoning now, and when i called for a refund, they refused which i obviously feel like was really inconsiderate considering we were not satisfied and got sick from the quality of food. Unfortunately this Wah Sing location had another change in management yet again. My sister and I dined here recently and discovered this. Its a shame because I really enjoyed the previous owner, who was a lot nicer and actually cared about giving good customer service. The customer service we received was not good. We weren't greeted upon entering the restaurant. Thanks to one of the other fellow customer, who was waiting to pickup her to-go order, suggested that we just walk over to the waitress (who was visibly using one of the tables to watch a movie on her laptop) to ask if we could be seated. After taking her advice, I walked over to her and had to ask her a couple of times to be seated (yeah, she was that distracted by her movie that she was watching rather loudly without headphones). When she finally heard me, she got up startled and then told us to sit wherever we liked. I guess she and another co-worker realized they had more customers and decided to get back to work. The two waitresses were trying to take care of us after that, but they still weren't attentive to us or the other customers. The only reason I'm not giving this place 1 out of 5 stars is because of the delicious sizzling beef dish. They unfortunately gave a small plate with barely any jasmine rice as my side (which I paid for mind you). We walk in greeted right away which was nice got seated and our drink orders in quickly. Line up for the Mongolian bbq and choose all my options and bam we are set to go. This is where it becomes negative stars. The man cooking the food on the grill starts coughing without covering his mouth over my food. As he finishes coughing he side eyes me watching him and he quickly turns his back and moves around the grill to not make eye contact, but yet again another coughing frenzy ensues and this time something flew over the food he was cooking for me. MEATS: Beef,Pork,Lamb and Chicken. Tons of vegetables. Man oh man so yummy. The lady was attentive on refilling the drinks or if we wanted more white rice. They give you fork and spoon on table but could pick up chop sticks at the counter if wanted...all you can eat for a cheap price. Clean/cute restaurant. This will be my new go to place good food and fast service. They have a bogo card with paying cash... pay 10 with cash get a free meal.
