They have a lot to offer, including Mongolian bbq, hot pot, and a full menu with lots of options. I got the Mongolian bbq today and although it's all you can eat, I can never eat more than one plate. I like that they supply you with a disposable glove at the beginning of the line to make it more sanitary. The noodles were fresh and I got extra garlic and hot sauces. Yum! We also ordered the sweet and sour chicken which was a good shareable portion, and the eggplant and mushroom dish was good too. FYI my husband told me this place closed down, but after seeing recent reviews here... they actually just moved to their other restaurant, combining it with the Mongolian and HotPot spot off Nut Tree Rd. That's a smart move, saving on lease and utilities etc... So we ordered egg foo young (Shrimp and Beef) and fried rice... we loved it!!! It was tasty and the portions were generous. I ordered the sesame chicken and my pops ordered the Mongolian beef... both were really good. The lunch menu comes with soup and an egg roll.. I will say the miso left a lot to be desired... it wasn't very warm and was overly salty. The sesame chicken was deep fried but not overly breaded which I appreciate. The sauce was good, not too much and had great flavor. The egg rolls were delicious! Overall a good experience! Oh and our server was great she was funny knowledgeable and easy to mesh with! So I finally got to try this restaurant, I will mention that it was a Saturday which along with Sundays are their Mongolian BBQ days, I don't think it's available during the week. I don't know if this will have a bearing on my experience. It was very busy which is nice to see and lots of staff moving around and checking on you. They were constantly keeping the items you choose for the BBQ full. Now I didn't come here for the BBQ, I came for some Chinese food and that could be the reason for my rating, the food was bland the Mongolian beef we had heat but not a lot of flavor and normally served with green onions, which there was very little of and tons of white onion, my wife loves green onions. We also had a black bean dish of which there was hardly any black bean flavor, the other flavors associated with this kind of dish were absent also. Finally we had the salt and pepper wings, these also missed the mark, barely any salt and pepper flavor and the heat was supplied by red pepper but no jalapeños which is a flavor element and no garlic in the mix either. I will go back to try during the week to see if maybe cooks are on a higher tier than those on the weekends during the BBQ as that seems to be their draw. read more

They limit you and have you choose four or five items, but that is standard or most places. At least with this place its not a single piece for each person. It was more filing in protein. I do wish they had more selection overall in protein and vegetables. However it is a small business so I understand. Small detail that I appreciate is the laddle with and without holes. Sometimes you don't want to add more broth to your bowl and the one with holes made it that much more convenient. It is tucked away in a plaza, but don't be discouraged. Came here to have lunch on a business trip. I had the orange chicken and it was flavorful. Definitively can taste they make their own sauces. The miso soup is your only option but it was the best miso soup I've ever had. The broth was fantastic tasting with only a couple tofu. The egg roll was nothing special. Mushy vegetables rolled up and fried. The fried rice was really tasty but the chow mein lacked vegetables and the noodles were not the greatest. What I thought was out of the ordinary is they charge if you want fried rice and chow mein instead of white rice. 1.50 for each one if you get 1/2 and 1/2 so basically adding $3 more onto the meal. The total for lunch special was $19.00 with 2.50 tip and they also charge if you use a debit card. That's quite a bit for just lunch and no drink other than water. The server was friendly but they don't explain the menu well and this place is known for the Mongolian bbq and the vegetables and meat selection looked amazing. Next time I'll be trying that for sure. Also make sure to check your receipt cause they tried charging me for a soda I did not order. read more

I've ordered from this place a couple of times and the food is great. Last time we ordered cream cheese wontons, spicy eggplant, Szechuan chicken, and vegetable chow mein. Let me just start off by saying their cream cheese wontons are BY FAR the BEST cream cheese wontons I've ever had! However, I was a bit disappointed when I got home and realized they didn't give us any sweet and sour sauce. So that was a bit of a bummer, but I can overlook it because they were still so great. The eggplant was amazing. The chicken was crispy and I liked that they provided the sauce on the side to keep it from getting soggy. The chow mein was just okay, I expect it to be a little less flavorful since it wasn't prepared with a protein but it was a little dry as well. We always order large trays when we host get together at our home. They do deliver , we always order with them over the phone. Nothing but good things to say about this restaurant, I have been coming here for the past couple years and since Covid happen I've been getting it more often than usual. During these sad times of no indoor dining Wah Sing has continued to provide delivery and pick up for their customers. They are always busy and taking orders. From the first time I has tried this place until now nothing has changed with their menu or taste. Everything continues to stay consistent which is why I believe they are one of the best in Vacaville area. I usually always get the War Won Ton soup but recently I tried the sizzling rice soup. You would think taking it home wouldn't be the same but omg it was so delicious. I ate the whole thing by myself lol and it was a good portion for being a size small. The other thing I just discovered is their sesame seed balls. They have THE BEST! They are 6 for about $2.50 and they always come out fresh never sitting all day, they make them as you order them. I recently moved to the wonderful city of Vacaville. As with any newcomer, I wanted to find good restaurants, where I can enjoy good food & good ambience. Looking for a highly rated Chinese restaurant, I found Wah Sing on Yelp. It had a four+ star rating, and I thought that would be a good choice. Unfortunately, the four star rating was a misnomer... The food was severely lacking in flavor and freshness. The Mongolian beef was tough and "old tasting". The chicken dishes were not much better, tasteless and seemingly left over from the day before. The noodle dish, seemed like it was just slapped together, just to get it out... This experience, needless to say, was not a good introduction to the food scene in Vacaville. You can't rely on Yelp reviews to find a good restaurant worthy of a four star review, unfortunately... I feel like I wasted my money & will not be going back. I would recommend looking for Asian/Chinese food at another restaurant, hopefully worthy of a four star review.‍ read more

Our glasses were never empty, and the prices were very fair for the food quantity and quality. This place is a little smaller, so I would recommend calling ahead if you're bribing a party of 5 or more. This is a really nice cozy spot for a date and the ambience of the restaurant was perfect for the cuisine. The staff was phenomenal and very friendly, and timed bringing out our appetizers and dishes perfectly. The food was hot when it came out, and servings were a good size. The luncheon deal is what you should go for to get the most out of your money. The menu said the Szechuan was hot and when I tasted it, the food wasn't too hot, really just a little mild. We'd been out and about all weekend and it was time to start heading home. First, lunch. A quick look at yelp and we found Wah Sing. We mapped it out and headed over. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we found that they were still only serving pick-up and delivery. When I asked when sit-down was likely to begin again, I was told that they were undergoing a major remodel by expanding and taking over the space next door. I don't know about you, but we order differently when we know we're going to be eating out in our vehicle rather than sitting in a restaurant. We decided to go with what we call Chinese Fast Food. We ordered: Pork Egg Rolls - 5 - Hot, crispy and loaded with pork and veg, accompanied by a little tub of sweet and sour sauce. Pot Stickers - 3 - The skins were way too thich and cmpeted with the filling for dominance. It's too bad because the filling had a decent flavor that you couldn't discern in the presence of the wrapper. However, if you ate the wrapper separately, the filling was pretty darned good! Tomato, Beef Chow Mein - 3 - We debated on this one. I say 4, she said 3. Both of us agreed that unlike many orders of Tomato Beef that we've had, this one was more on the savory side than the overly sweet side. There was an abundance of white pepper flavor. We both missed the char on the noodles, tomatos, white onion and green bell peppers that we grew up with. As a matter of fact, although we didn't make it to the bottom of the box, we found no bell peppers and scant white onion. The tomatoes were present as was green onion which we were used to seeing on top as a garnish rather than cooked into the dish. Different strokes for different folks! Wor Won Ton Soup - 4 - is offered in three sizes. We opted for the large and got two quart-sized containers. At a glance, I saw shrimp, pork and spinach. I'm sure there were other ingredients as well but we started to get full and couldn't make it to the bottom of the first container, let ablone the second. While we were waiting for our order, we had a nice conversation about the restaurant and a dish called Kanji Chicken which was described to us as being similar to the General Tso's Chicken served at many other restaurants. If we're in the area again, we'll probably drop in to try Kanji Chicken, Dossy Shrimp, Drums of Heaven, and Shrimp in Lobster Sauce. read more
