This is our first time here. The food is nice and spicy and they have a yogurt sauce you can add to your food to tame it a bit. They serve canned and bottled beverages and they offer free tap water. There is plain rice and a Biryani rice too. The pieces were clumped together... they really need to stir and keep the items looking good. They use warmers but I feel like the food was not fresh. There was a chicken curry dish that appeared to be boneless however there were small bone fragments that my husband had to pick out of his mouth. The Tandoori chicken was really pink inside but not sure if that was how it is supposed to look like... we have eaten it at a lot of places and that is not what I am used to seeing. The naan was very good. It is $19.99 per adult but not worth it for what was available. I think the most I would want to pay is &13.99. I cannot have tomatoes and there were several tomato dishes but I still had a few options available for me. I wish there was more food options. The appetizer was a fried piece of onion. I posted a video of the Buffett so you can see it! The guy who waited on us was really kind and professional and the restaurant was nice and clean! I love the booth it was very comfortable.

Wah Taj is amazing!! This Indo-Pak fusion restaurant replaced the old Indian restaurant "Sankalp". The inside is completely renovated and remodeled and looks so much better - way more modern. My group and I shared a variety of entrees - we tried the Paneer tikka masala, butter chicken, chicken 65, garlic naan, vegetable samosa & mango lassi. Every item we tried was delicious and everything was made to order - be patient when you order curries as they are making them fresh - no premade curries here. They can make the meals to your spice level from mild to very hot. The service was excellent - extremely friendly and happy to tell you about the chefs specialties or anything all the menu. Prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be back to try their lunch buffet ($20) and their wraps. Thank you Wah Taj!

I stumbled upon this new restaurant at a local festival in Naperville. Apparently they just opened a month ago in the Mount Prospect area, and I'm so glad they came out this way! I got the food to-go, so the pics are featured as "take out", but I will definitely make the trip out (one of these days) to get some more photos of the ambiance and food. The biryani was fresh! The mutton meat is soft and tender, not too spicy, perfect taste. The kabob rolls are on point! Idk what's in the sauce but towards the end I found myself licking my fingers till it was all gone. I can't wait to try the other options on their menu. Give this place a try. 10/10.

    Chicken Biryani

Discovered this place when looking for a place that's open late and has chicken biryani. It's a small but well kept restaurant with friendly service. Biryani tasted fresh and authentic; would definitely come back to try other dishes!! Love that it's open late

Very clean, modern ambiance, with very good buffet variety and selection. Service was outstanding. The owner, Saif, was very hands-on and ensured we were enjoying the food. If you opt for the menu items, be sure to give a bit of time because they make everything from scratch.

After waiting more than 1.5 hours, I called to check the status and found out that my order had not even been prepared. I don't know who I spoke with on the phone, but instead of helping resolve the issue, I was told that I could simply cancel my order. What frustrated me most was the explanation I received: "Sorry, this app doesn't work well." The representative showed little interest in solving the problem. Apparently, the app worked perfectly when it charged my credit card, but when it came to processing and delivering my order, suddenly the app was the issue. Delays can happen, but customers should be informed instead of being left waiting with no updates. I still didn't receive my order after two hours. The customer service was awful, and the lack of communication made the situation even more frustrating. This used to be one of my favorite places, but unfortunately, the quality of service seems to be getting worse.

We had boorsok for our appetizer, fried dough bites that reminded me of funnel cake without sugar, and there were a lot! I had the strawberry mojito drink, and it was fantastic, really tasting of fresh fruit with many mint leaves inside. The khachapuri was extraordinary. They do imeruli style, round and similar to a pizza, the crust beautifully blistered and the cheese thick with a wonderful pull. One of my friends hadn't had khachapuri before and is now a convert. We also had boso lagman, with hand-pulled noodles and beef, and big manty dumplings with flavorful meatballs inside. I requested we get a slice of honey cake, too, and that was a perfect finish to the meal. Sweet but not overkill, and really tasted like honey, graham crackers, and cream. I'm not sure when I will possibly be in this area again, but wow, I would come here again.

The decor offered great ambiance! In order to try a couple of items my sister and I decided to split the laghman and eggplant salad. The laghman was excellent with fresh hand-pulled noodles. I appreciated that they split the dish in the kitchen for us. The eggplant salad was a good portion to supplement the noodles. But points of caution that they are fried and have an almost sweet and sour sauce on top which for me was a little heavy. Overall quick and efficient service for a sit down lunch during the work week. They also appeared to have an extensive drink menu of different lemonade and coffee that I would be interested to try next time.

I was a quite disappointed because we went on Saturday at 6:30pm and they were completely out of all pide, ezme, haydari, and the pickles so the menu was pretty limited. We ended up ordering fries as an appetizer since that's all they had. The entrees also said they come with bulgar and rice but we did not have any bulgar on our dish..it also said we should have roasted peppers and onions, which were not on our dish either. I assume they were out of all of those? We really wanted hummus but it was not on the menu. When we finished our meal, we noticed the table behind us had hummus... it would have been nice to know they had hummus. Also, we really wanted to try the manti but did not see it on the menu. At the end of the meal, my husband wanted a coffee and the waitress said there was no coffee and the machine was broke. Service was ok. Waitress forgot our drink. Not very attentive. Dining area is small but cute. They are planning to expand the dining area so there really isn't much of a market anymore. Prices are pretty high in comparison to most Turkish/middle eastern restaurants. They do give you yummy bread and Babaganoush. I want to try it again in hopes that other menu items are available.

The vibe inside is lowkey but elegant, great for a quiet night out or a new food experience with friends or family.
