So we don't often remember to go here since it's not on the usual Newberry or Archer mainstream roads but Wahoo has always been good for us! Monday nights are $20 per lb crab legs with corn and red potatoes. That's one of our favorites. I've also had the shrimp and grits which was great, and family had the seared scallops and they looked perfectly cooked with a side of bacon brussel sprouts and my MIL loves their Mahi sandwich which is huge! Another favorite of ours is their margarita deal. $9.50 for any flavored Marg that they offer! Definitely check this spot out if you are in town and wanting a better option than a chain and to get off the beaten path to the 39th exit!

I was passed by these locations through Gainesville to Tallahassee. I'm looking for seafood restaurant and I found in my bookmark. This restaurant has been in my bookmarks for a long time. I like the patio seating compared to the inside seating especially during the winter time. It's nice to sit outside during this time as not too hot. I have Parmesan n Crab top Mahi. It is part of the lunch special as one of the kind of selection. It looks very interesting. It come with one side. I have choose carrot and brussel sprouts. This site is come with bacon is delicious. The Parmesan cheese on top of this mahi-mahi is also very how many. Love the combination. The service is good. The patio settings can improve a little bit with padding on the seat. Overall my experience is very good.

We tried this place thinking it would be a local Gainesville spot for good seafood and it was incredibly disappointing. We will definitely not be coming back. The food was horrible. They must dump an entire salt shaker on their food. I sent my meal back because it was overcooked and the taste was too salty to eat and they brought out more shrimp that were burned to a crisp. The service was friendly but there are many many other restaurants in Gainesville that we would go to instead.

Good food and fast service. The booths are high, so plenty of privacy at the table. Nice assortment of entrees and a full bar.

There's lots of yummy sweets in the bakery like chiffon cake, cheesecake, basque cheesecake, cream puffs, burst cake, mochi, crepe cake, french macarons, and more. It's near the Enson Market. It wasn't too loud inside and there were plenty of places to sit. I think it would be a great place for a date or to meet up with friends. My order: The matcha green tea w. coconut milk (no boba). I also tried the tiramisu mousse cake. The green tea was really tasty, the tiramisu mousse was just okay IMO. Why I left a four star review: There weren't a lot of dairy-free milk options, the price point was a tad high, and there are too many other boba tea shops in Gainesville with a better price point and flavors.

So the fact that I'm giving this place 5 stars means this place is stellar. It's not a place I would even expect to exist in a small place like Gainseville, let alone be THIS GOOD. BUT this place is THAT GOOD. The cakes were all LA tier, maybe even Taiwan/China tier, which is Saying SOMETHING!!! I travel a lot and my experience with asian stores in small towns has always been subpar. It might look authentic, etc but then the taste will disappoint and I'm reminded why the 626 in LA is known as an Asian food haven. But this store tasted straight out of the 626. I walked in looking for Asian desserts because I can only go so long existing on wypipo food tbh. I noticed there's a nice new Chinese market next door and the staff inside was all Chinese, speaking Mandarin - very encouraging. I looked at the cakes. They looked legit! Real Asian cake store level. But I still told myself to lower my expectations with the taste so I wouldn't be disappointed later. I bought four cakes and two drinks. Would have bought food too but their kitchen was closed (I came 30 mins before closing). Tbh, the drinks are just fine. I've had better, these were a tiny bit watered down - but still decent. The guava and lychee flavors we got were very prevalent and there was a fresh lime slice in mine. But the cakes!!! The cakes are 5 star. The cakes are LA worthy. TAIPEI worthy. What is this store doing in Gainseville?? I sure hope they survive. I have to come back to Gainseville often for medical events, so - I will be coming to this store EACH TIME. Please, please stay open for me. ;) The cakes are perfectly light, soft, not too sweet. (If you know Asian desserts you'll know what I'm talking about). The mochi layers inside were perfectly done, sweet, smooth, very QQ. Everything from the injeolmi flavor to taro paste to mango gelatin layers - all the flavors were there in just the right way. The textures - perfect. Lady M can't compete with the crepe cakes. The basque was cooked to PERFECTION. The mochi round cakes - like eating Taro clouds. This is not an amateur bakery, folks. This bakery know what they're doing. You have a gem here, Gainseville. I literally logged into Yelp to leave this review for them. Please do yourself a favor and try their cakes - Try them ALL. Experience the beauty of Asian desserts. I feel like every single thing here will be done perfectly. I know I'm gonna keep coming back to try more!

I ordered the Banana Foster and Lucky Charms. It took about 10-15 minutes since they're made fresh to order, but they came out warm, soft, and in a pizza box. Nice little courtyard-side restaurant in a townhome community…read more The food was quite good... authentic sides including farofa. The main dishes were rich and flavorful... tried the Moqueca- mahi in coconut milk, and the Feijoada- a rich pork stew... both with rice. It was drizzling lightly off and on, and when we walked up we asked to sit at a table under an umbrella close to the building, providing some cover. The server told us that table was taken, and we were seated at a table far out in the courtyard basically next to the parking spaces under a tree.... It had no umbrella, so we did end up getting a bit damp. And, being a longer trek from the restaurant meant that the service was haphazard... for instance, our waters were never refilled. The food made up for these shortcomings, but if there is a next time, we'll be more assertive about sitting on the actual dining patio. The slower service resulted in not staying for any desert... we'd had a long day and were ready to call it a night, but the passion fruit mousse sounds interesting. No one ever came to claim the table we were turned away from at the start, it turns out.
