Are we allowed to bring outside food to enjoy outside on the lawn/grassy area after doing the aquaventure activities?

What are the prices at kamaaina rate?

    None

Am I able to bring outside food? not on the lagoon just on a sitting area where I can watch my boys do the aqua adventure activity?

Aloha! Thank you for your question. We do not allow outside food and beverage on property. However on Thursdays, when we have our Farmers Market, we do allow food and beverage purchased from the market on the Wave Deck and Boardwalk seating areas.

Do their phones work? Never can get a person to answer. Kinda skeptical to book something if there's no one to answer the phone. Or are they that busy? Or do I need to drive out to EB to speak with someone. Anyone...

Lol..they are shorthanded which makes them very busy! If you live on the island, faster to go down in person and enjoy the ride...

Do you have to book a reservation for the wave pool and restaurant?

Is Wai Kai dog friendly for well-behaved, leashed dogs outside?

I've seen people at the outside bar of the restaurant with a dog. So, I would say yes.

Can you bring your own SUP?

I didn't get to try the wave pool because it was closed for a private event, but it looked super cool.

It's incredibly well appointed, clean, nicely furnished, and comfortable. The pool at the unit is really nice and driving the golf cart to the lagoons is so easy and so much fun. The owners really do care about their unit and it shows. Don't hesitate to book this unit, especially if you are a family with kids. It really does have everything you need and more. You won't be disappointed!

Perfect location, all brand new everything and a Golf Cart! Wow!…read more Wow, what a fabulous 10 nights we spent at this lovely villa in Ko Olina. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen had everything I could think to want and the lanai was my favorite spot for napping each afternoon. The pool was a 2 minute walk from the unit - my grandsons just loved the pool and I loved the shaded cabanas. The beach was about a 10 minute walk, but we mostly used the golf cart. The unit had all sorts of bicycles, scooters, books and toys and board games so the kids were never ever bored. Safeway, Costco and Target are 1 exit away and it's so nice to be able to park right at the villa and not have to haul everything into an elevator or down a long hallway (especially after a day at the beach). My son in law was thrilled with the "high tech" gadgets - 3 huge TVs, NetFlix, wifi, even a printer. I am already looking forward to another trip this summer!

This was our first time in Hawaii, so we figured if our hotel wasn't the best it would be ok, since we were not planning on spending much time in the hotel. It was such an amazing place and we got a great deal on it which made it even more amazing. As soon as you walk in, the front desk welcomed you, and you can tell they upkeep this hotel very well and take pride in their property. They do offer parking on the premises, however they do charge $40.00 a day, which i thought was pretty pricey but didn't have a choice we had rented a car. The girl at the front desk told us the area was safe and there is usually parking outside the hotel for free, we didnt pay for parking our whole stay! Our room was super clean , updated and super spacious! We got a call daily asking if we needed anything, you can get beach towels daily without issues as many as you like. The cook-to-order breakfast was simply AMAZING!! The food was great and the cooks are super nice and welcoming. The pool is a little on the smaller side but we didnt have the need to use it but its really nice. over all i would 100 percent stay here again. It was a wonderful experience and wonderful value! Mahalo!

On a whim I decided to go to Hawaii and surprise them. I searched AirBNB and had a goal of calm setting near the beach. I saw the pics of this villa and booked it the next day, for 7 days. The photos really didn't do the place justice!! Absolutely gorgeous with stunning views of the ocean and the lagoon. The master suite was super luxe with en suite bathroom (soaker tub was used almost every night). Check in was a breeze with the super wonderful Angel and her partner. They checked up on us ever so often. Very nice people (understatement). Checkout services checked my flight info and accommodated us in very courteous way. I really can't say enough about our stay here. I should have stayed another week. Will definitely recommend and use them again. Thank you to the LHV staff, esp Angel and Suzanne!!!!! Mahalo

I personally enjoy the exclusivity of renting a villa over a room in a traditional hotel. I enjoy the space the villas offer and the staff that facilitate and manage these rentals are both professional and warm/welcoming.

It is such a relaxing ride along the coast as the waves crash along the shore and the breeze off the ocean keeps us cool. I wrote in the time that I wanted to start which was 1230 pm. I show up at 1230 exactly and go to check in at the outpost Hut. The 2 guys inside the Hut tell me they didn't see my reservation and they rented out all their balls to a group that just came in..... So...we had to WAIT until the group was finished to get the balls to play.... On top of that, I paid $10 per person to play, and the guy in the hut tells me there's only 6 or 7 holes available since they use the course to pop fireworks off of. New years was about a week ago!! You're telling me, you're too lazy to put back the holes for a whole week?! Cmon man..... Then, I ask for a cart to put all our stuff in and he tells me that they don't rent out carts but that I could get one at the golf hut. So my mom walks all the way over to the golf hut for them to tell her that they don't rent out golf carts for soccer golf......?! So then after all of this, the guy in the outpost hut tells me he will refund me the balls we rented as a way to make up the unfinished course and the time we had to wait for the balls to come back. That was nice of them.....except for the fact that he didn't do it!!! He was straight up lying. Bc i kept checking my account and I didn't see no refund pending from them.... So I waited 2-3 days then I finally call them back checking up on the refund. Explain the whole thing and I'm pretty sure the guy who answered the phone was the same guy who told me he would refund it to me the day of my reservation! So he puts me on hold and tells me that a manager has to be the one to refund me. So why did that guy in the outpost hut tell me he was refunding me if he really wasn't?!?! To top it all off, the course looks like crap. And they don't even have a score card to give you. Good thing I took a picture of their somewhat course layout so I knew where the heck I was going. The course is literally just grass that is so overgrown and bumpy that you cannot even call it foot golf. Save yourself time and don't go here.

It's a holiday weekend and they demanded a response the same day. We replied the following morning but were told they already cancelled our reservation. Wouldn't we just book again at their new price that's $1,500 more? Talking to them to try and resolve, it was clear they just wanted more money. There was no urgent issue, they never called, they just decided they could get more money than our reservation. So be warned if you reserve with them... they may leave you hanging. EDIT: The owner left a response citing verification processes. We completed everything asked for on booking and NEVER received any communications on August 28 or 29. I have the message receipts and can gladly share. Our only message was Aug. 30 and we responded within a day, despite the holiday weekend! The property was still available. They delivered everything right to our resort and later came back to pick it all up, making the experience effortless from beginning to end. The owner was especially wonderful--warm, genuine, and full of great recommendations for local spots to eat and explore. It was such a beautiful reminder of the true aloha spirit we love so much. As someone who grew up on the island of Guam--another beautiful but farther-to-reach Pacific gem--returning to Hawaii always fills my spirit with that same island way of life: generous, easygoing, deeply rooted in community and kindness. I'm so grateful for places and people like this who make you feel right at home, wherever you are in the world.
