When I left the country for 2 weeks I boarded him at Wags n Wings after they were recommended to me by a friend. On the first day I got a call from Rya that Cloud was not acclimating to daycare. However she was able to coordinate with my vet to pick up medication to make Cloud's stay more comfortable. She even sent daily pictures and messages keep me updated on his status. After a few days went by Cloud had toned down on the crying and clawing at the walls and had even made some doggy friends. I went from constantly being worried to being able to enjoy my time abroad. He was old (20 years old) and had lived a long and happy life, but it was time for him to say goodbye. Though I was already expecting it to happen, I was still crushed. The only thing that made me feel better was knowing that Ric was with him and he made sure to take care of things. Ric went beyond the extra mile to take care of everything, not only for Trekee's sake, but for mine as well. I had to call them last minute because my friend's roof on her house flew off and she couldn't watch my cats. Joann and Steve came to the rescue and assured me that the cats would be fine.
