This was our first time boarding our cats so we were a little worried. But Satomi assured us that they would be well-taken care of and they were! They were a bit shy at first but she talked to them, gave affection and sent us videos everyday. In fact, our very skiddish cat now allows us to pet her when WE want...she doesn't run away! This was the first time our 14 year old cat, Kiki, did not stay at home while we traveled. Needless to say we were nervous, and researched our options then decided on Aloha Cat Hotel. We felt very confident that they would take good care of her for the two weeks, paying much attention to feeding schedules, additional supplements in her diet, and her preferences. We also were impressed when we visited and her quarters were a nice, 4 ft x 4 ft x 6 ft room, and not a cage. It was brightly lit, super clean and so pleasant! She would enjoy the air conditioning because of her long fur. While on our trip we received videos and were able to see her making friends with other cats for the first time and how she was happily purring with lots of attention. Wow!!! Best Cat Hotel in Hawaii!!! Our cat did not want to leave Aloha Cat Hotel. The hotel was conveniently located downtown and has a few parking spaces for customers. Inside was super clean, quiet, each kennel was much bigger, and air conditioned. Satomi, the owner, was very knowledgeable and a cat whisperer. She took such wonderful care of him. I cannot thank her enough for superb job and often send us his activity videos, almost everyday! And I know other cat hotels in Oahu charge for any playtime and videos... We felt less anxious about him while we were traveling. Satomi also let cats out from the kennel and let each cat explore the common area outside of the kennels. Our cat is not friendly but with Satomi, he was so comfortable that I had to wait quite some time until he was ready to go home! We recommend Aloha Cat Hotel to anyone, very best Cat Hotel! Awesome little place to board your cats while you're away. Satomi emailed us photos and video of Stripes literally *every day* for the whole week we were gone. She showed excellent judgment in handling his food/medicine needs. The stalls are very well appointed -- a big step up from the crates/cages we were used to. A fantastic facility that caters to cats only. We used to board our cat at the vets when traveling, but she gets scared easily, shut down, (with all the dogs barking), and stopped eating. This time, we put her up with Satomi and Richard and, (WOW!), what a difference. When we went back to pick her up, (our Calico), she didn't want to leave! LOL Satomi sent us videos several times each week showing her eating, playing, etc. She answered all our questions, calmed our nerves, and provided excellent care for our fur baby. I had the worst experience a cat mother can have. I trusted that my cat would be well taken care of and I was disappointed. I couldn't communicate with the owner of the establishment when the day came to pick up my cat. There was no one in the place, AC was OFF, they didn't answer me when I called, and I called soooo many times . I even thought about calling the police to help me. After 3 hours of waiting, a man arrived and opened the establishment for me to pick up my cat. It was an unfortunate episode, I don't recommend this place. Took a quick trip about 4 days and needed a place to board my kittens. Aloha Cat Hotel was very through and had an easy experience checking in and registering my two kitten residents. They make sure that all cats and kittens that go there have an up to date vaccinations to ensure everything is good before coming in. When arriving the space is very clean and well thought out for maximum relaxation. Space has A/C and is very cool and I loved the meow suite that they stayed in! Photos and videos were sent daily so I can see how my kittens were faring. Price was extremely reasonable and when I take another trip I will definitely be taking my kittens back there. I recently went to LA for a K-pop concert for 4 days, and I had to leave my cat here. My cat Mango used the Pawsitive Suite, which had lots of play area and was spacious and clean. With the stay, we got videos of Mango saying hi, and playing around. When we brought her home, she was very bright and friendly, telling us that she loved her stay there. I got turned away from a few cat hotels/boardings then got recommended to try Aloha Cat Hotel as they've recently just opened. Satomi & her husband are amazing! Their facilities are very nice too. We booked the Nine Tails Suite for our kitties as we have a few fosters with us right now along with our resident cats. We were required to be UTD on FVRCP and flea treatments. They feed the kitties 2x a day unless you need them to be fed more/less. They also *tried* to accommodate our kittens as they usually are bottomless pits and don't stop eating by separating them, but it was not needed as it was all of my cats first sleepover somewhere else and no one really wanted to eat. Satomi sends update pics/videos throughout the duration of your furbabies stay. I also love the fact that they aren't locked in metal kennels all day and they have the option to roam while their boxes are being cleaned (just them not the other cats, one family at a time). You can also bring your own litter if your cats don't use the one they provide and you can bring small beds or your pets blanket to help them feel more at home. I highly recommend booking with Aloha Cat Hotel if you're looking for somewhere to board your cats! it's reasonable priced & 3/7 of my cats didn't want to leave when it was time to go! I can't say enough about the level of care, attentiveness, and love that Satomi showed our cat Riggs. I get very anxious to leave him when we have to travel, but Satomi calmed my nerves immediately upon meeting Riggs. Her demeanor is so gentle and sweet that Riggs took to her immediately. This is saying a lot because he can be quite guarded towards strangers. The facilities are incredibly clean and each individual room is spacious and comfy. We received multiple pictures and videos via text each day of our trip. I can't explain how much this put my mind at ease! Satomi urged us to bring things from home that would help Riggs acclimate to his new environment. I really appreciated this suggestion, and we brought a blanket for his room as well as his food, favorite treats, and a toy. Being able to leave these touches of home with him was a great addition. She even treated him to a bit of catnip which he loved! I am so grateful to have the Aloha Cat Hotel here on O'ahu. We will most definitely be back! read more

Our son loves cats, and the art on the outside of Aloha Cat Hotel always prompted positive comments from him, so it was natural to arrange for our two cats to board with Satomi and Richard when we had a short trip. Satomi was very accommodating to our flight schedule, which required an early drop off time. Our two cats settled in very well, and it was clear that this is a place run by people who love cats. While we were on our trip, we received short video clips of our cats exploring, eating, playing, and just hanging out. Knowing that the cats were in good hands, and enjoying themselves, alleviated the concerns of my son and allowed him to enjoy our trip. I didn't have a place to board him and frantically began calling around and was referred to Aloha Cat Hotel. Lucky for me Satomi said she could take him. I can't say enough good things about Satomi! She was so sweet and gentle while caring for my new kitty. She sent me videos and played with him on a daily basis and even gave him his eye drops. The facilities were so clean and the roomy suites were nicely equipped with ceramic feeding bowls and comfy beds with scratch posts. I just picked up my two cats after leaving off island for 6 days. This was our first time leaving our cats. This place was nothing but amazing! My cats are often shy around new people but Satomi was able to get both of my cats to fall in love with her. She also kept us updated throughout the week with videos. Aloha Cat Hotel is now our go to for boarding during our travel. Satomi and her husband(sorry I forgot your name) are simply the best. We've used them this past March & April while we travelled and seems that our 3 cats (Chester, Lala & Boba) are already familiar with the place and enjoy their surroundings. Satomi sends pictures and videos daily to show how the kitties are enjoying themselves. Aloha Cat Hotel doesn't use cages or kennels. They have a variety of "suites" to choose from and twice we've booked their Pawsitive Suite. Its roomy where the 3 are comfortable, have climbing space and have their privacy. There's comfortable AC for their guests, it's very clean and smells clean! (you take off your slippers before walking in!), Their prices are very decent and affordable. (No hidden charges at the end!) You request the dates online, then wait for confirmation from Satomi. She will respond back with a breakdown of charges and give instructions for deposit, balance to be paid in full on date of check in. Early/Late pickup/drop off can be arranged for a small fee as well. You bring in your own food, treats, toys etc and they take care of the rest! We will definitely continue to use Aloha Cat Hotel in the near future. It's only proper that if we go on vacation, the kitties deserve to go on their own get away too! This place is THE BEST at taking care of our kitty while we were away. Until we found them, we just boarded our past cats at the vet, where our kitties were kept in tiny kennels the whole time and came back with respiratory diseases; we never knew how our cats were doing at these types of places til we picked them up. At Aloha Cat Hotel we had the opposite experience. We just boarded our one year old cat with them and we got DAILY VIDEOS and updates on how our baby was doing, what she was up to, etc. The owner played with her and gave her quality time every day so she didn't feel lonely, and toward the end our kitty even started attempting to make cat friends She had her own room (huge compared to those kennels!!) with space to climb, a cat tree, a private comfy area to sleep in and jump atop, her own litter box, water, and food bowls. Everything was clean and air conditioned. All the cats staying there were sweethearts and the woman who owns this place is the kindest person ever. You can tell that cats are her passion and she sincerely loves them. Can't say enough about this cat hotel. Worth every penny!! We needed a place to keep our cat overnight while we fumigated our house. Our cat actually stayed here with the old owners, and it was our last resort, based on the conditions. However, since it is very convenient, and under new ownership, I took a look and was very pleased with what I saw. We booked for 1 night. When I got there, many cats were out, playing with each other, so they are not "caged" the entire time. It was very clean, and well thought out with your cat's safety and comfort in mind. The rooms were nicer than the hotel I rented in Waikiki lol. Our cat was very frightened and apprehensive, meowing and cowering, but after I left, he got settled in. When I went to pick him up the next day, he didn't want to leave! When I tried to pick him up, he resisted You could see that he wanted to stay. The owner, Satomi, is obviously a Cat Whisperer, and your feline friends will receive absolutely the best care here. Nothing like the stinky, depressing place it was before, with your cat sitting in a wire cage.
