Wailoa Grill is outdoor seating only and not inside Suisan, it's located on the side of the Suisan building. If you don't like sitting on picnic tables, you have no choice.. Lol Fresh fish sandwiches and plates along with other local favorites to choose from. I always order the fresh ahi sandwich which comes with really good fries. It's Market Priced so ask if you want the price of it, but they do it well and always sell out, so just go for it. Tip: Make sure you have extra napkins as it gets messy eating it. Busy busy busy! Came by for a late lunch but was continuously busy and had run out of several items. We partook in shrimp and chips, fish and chips and short ribs. Everything was great and worth the wait - the fish and shrimp done just right; crispy fries/chips, and melt in your mouth short ribs. The rice and 'slaw also was very tasty. Not a great experience. Called around 11:30am and they were already out of a number of our first choice dishes. Additionally, their website says nothing about them only serving breakfast until 10am. Ended up placing a decent-sized order anyway, but upon arriving to pick it up, was not even offered a box to carry it all in. And did not even receive a 'thank you' or acknowledgement of giving them our business. And finally, the food. For our fist visit I had smoked meat plate. It had great flavor, and plenty meat. My husband had the captains platter and it was fantastic. Service was fast and friendly. It was tasty but as usual NOT spicy at all. Both plates had very generous amounts. Has about 10 tables under the covered lanai area. One of my favorite lunch spots. The service is always quick and with a smile. Has picnic tables outside under an overhang so you can enjoy your food. This last time I went I got the Wailoa burger.
