The staff member I spoke to was kind and let me roam freely while explaining which items were made locally. Overall I think that if you want to take home a souvenir that's authentic, beautiful and with great meaning, this is a place to check out and buy from.

Parking in front of the entrance is extremely limited, and the surrounding residential area doesn't allow non-permitted parking. I ended up dropping off my wife and her friend so they could start the trek while I parked at the nearby golf course, which added about a half-mile walk to the entrance. From the entrance, the hike down to Queen's Bath is about half a mile. It's not too long, but there are a few tricky spots that require some careful footing. It's definitely manageable for most people, including kids, as long as you take your time. Once you arrive, you're rewarded with a beautiful natural tide pool filled with seawater and fish. Some people were even jumping from the surrounding rocks into the water below. The spot was lively, with plenty of tourists and families making the hike down to enjoy the view and the experience. A little extra work to get there, but the payoff is huge. Queen's Bath is a must-see if you're in Princeville.

With that in mind, you gotta respect the artist that engages a neophyte like me. We were simply strolling around window shopping and saw the artist/gallery owner Max painting outside. He warmly greeted us and we soon engaged in some funny repartee. He did not hover over us as we walked through the gallery, which I really appreciated. We ended up buying two prints - one a landscape and one a more abstract painting. Max took the time to explain how he makes the art and also agreed to ship it to us for free. One week later, the prints arrived on our Virginia doorstep. I wish all gallery experiences were as good as this one.

When I came to pick it up, they said none of that is there, they couldn't find my sign up for general delivery, even though the gentleman who did it for me was there. Conveniently, he ran to the back and never showed up again. Some items were already marked returned. When I called UPS for tracking of one of them they said it was delivered to the post office yesterday at 12:12 PM and signed by employee. Yet the post office denies having it. They seem to be very bothered when asked to check for packages at any time I've been there. I understand we are not "locals" and we are treated differently, but this is little bit too much.

He has not been on duty that long and the way I see it, He probably won't be there that much longer. Not with an attitude like he has.
