Google searched floral delivery on Oahu, and was directed to teleflora.com, ordered through website, & found that Waipahu Florist was the local company that would deliver my order. Online process was straight forward. Flowers that were ordered looked very similar. And delivery was smooth, delivery worker called my recipient saying that he was outside, & hand delivered the flowers. Will use Waipahu Florist again for future deliveries. read more

Sadly, I am updating my review from a year ago, I have tried to support this company multiple times by ordering here as it is close to our home, however every time I have ordered here they have missed the delivery date by over a day and still changed a delivery fee. Upon calling for my missing order they had no idea my order was even not delivered yet still charged the over 80$ on my card. I don't recommend this place you can get flowers on Uber Eats for 1/3 the price and actually get it delivered on time. read more

This place was horrible!!!! I mean zero customer service. There was a male in the back who did not attend to me when he said he was coming out shortly. I have been waiting for almost 30 minutes , felt longer. He shouted from the back that he was coming out but he never did. I yelled I'm still here. He said he was coming. I mean I should have been upset waiting for 5 minutes. But I tell you this place was out of this world. This male was either playing with me hoping for me to leave or he was just plain nuts in the head. While I was waiting, I observed that the place was soooo filthy with roaches coming out of everything m, lots piled stuff all over and there were cat feces and food all over the place. I mean filthy!!! I ordered from this place before but it didn't expect service like this. This is far the worst I have experienced at an establishment. 20 thumbs down. Never again. I had to put a star in Yelp to post, fyi. Experience is a negative. read more

Called repeatedly and no answer! Their website does not indicate delivery times or delivery time frames. Hence, I called to determine if it is best for them to deliver to my house the day before the funeral to ensure I can guarantee it makes it to the service on time the next morning versus scheduling a delivery the day of the funeral and it arrives late. I called (808) 677-3900 and the ringing sounds normal then it turns to a clicking sound but leads to no answer. I listened to the clicking sound a whole minute before giving up. Called the alternate number (800) 924-7249 and it's constantly busy. Called both numbers repeatedly for a good hour and still no answer. read more

My wife picked up a custom Father's Day lei for me from this store. She mentioned the staff were very helpful and pleasant on the phone and in person. I don't live on Oahu and took a chance - hoping what I ordered was what would be delivered, as I've had many disappointing results from other florists on the Leeward side of the island. Clear and communicative. The variegated leaves brought so much value to the bouquet. Ordered corsage and boutonniere for my son's winterball. Service is actually pretty good. The bow motif is rose gold color and they were able to accomodate this despite they did not have anything in stock at that time. I picked it up on the day agreed. Price is reasonable. The only complain is their hours of operation. Wentvthere around 12pm but no one was there. I had to wait bc as the guy said it opens at 1pm. Kinda late for a business, i think. Place looks like homeless lives there and smells like it too. Went in..stuck around for 5 minutes. Nobody came out to help even with the door chime going off. Had to leave cause of the smell... and wasn't flowers! read more

Updated review: I received flowers for Valentines day on my husband who's deployed in Europe while im stationed here in Hawaii and ordered flowers, there's issue on the quality of the first flowers but I'd like to give respectful and quality service of the owner of this flower shop. He gave me beautiful tulips as I expected after few hiccups. Highly recommended this fast turnaround service and quality service.Thank you! read more

Great service, great quality and great price! First time coming here to order a funeral wreath for a beloved family. I've priced out other florists in and around Waipahu and this one had the best price. The memorial service was a few weeks away and went to Waipahu Florist where Donna helped me by showing me a book full of funeral wreaths/stand sprays and prices. Luckily I went when I did, as they had that day available to deliver. Picked one out that was reasonably priced, big and really nice. She helped with selecting the color/type of flowers, color of the banner and wording. Cost was less than $445, it included the delivery fee and wording. Before I left, Donna gave me a pink rose in remembrance of our beloved family. The day finally came and it turned out beautiful! It came out the way it was in the book. Thank you Waipahu Florist and Donna, you guys did an excellent job. Will definitely be back. read more

I wanted to order some red roses with baby's breath in a vase for my wife on Mother's Day. Unfortunately, they don't deliver to places and I was willing to pay a little extra. I was told only for funeral's, they delivered. I had to take my business elsewhere. Maybe next time I will order there for other occasions. read more

Disappointed. What should have been a get-in, get-out quick purchase but I was wrong. Came here to buy a lei po'o and the lady at the front asked an older gentleman. The guy said two in the white bags were for sale. The lady then calls someone else on the phone to make sure they weren't accounted for. Understandable. All other items in fridge had name and number. Then I waited 10 more minutes while she's on the phone and then she calls another guy watching tv and asks who is so and sos lei po'o. The guy grabs it with the persons name and number on the bag, brings it to the front and then SWITCHES the lei po'o that was already accounted for and places it on the one for sale. Not sure why. I am already confused and annoyed. I should have left as soon as the front desk lady called around asking who is so and sos. First off, they had names on it. That should have been taken care of. As an employee, you don't try to figure out what is accounted for and which is for sale right as a customer walks in. Definitely my first and last time here. read more

I ordered orchids to be sent to my Aunt's home because I lodged at her home with my boyfriend for a week. Instead of staying in Waikiki, my Aunt offered us to stay in her home in her secluded guest sectional of her home. If you don't already know, Hawaii does cost a lot from rental cars, hotels and spending on food/activities. I was born, grew up raised in Oahu, Hawaii and I always look forward to coming home. I am very fortunate to still have relatives on the island that offer us a lodging space. We even got use my Aunt's extra cars to use while all my friends that visit Hawaii from California are having a hard time finding a rental car due to the influx of tourist reserving for car rentals. I am very fortunate. With that being said, I bought my Aunt a premium bouquet of orchids. I was surprised that they gave my aunt three different versions of it. So beautiful. My aunt sent me a photo of it after she received it. Mind you I made this order online on their web site and called them a few times to make sure we were on the same page. It took two days for them to deliver it. My Aunt and Uncle are busy people. They run a business so it was difficult for the florist to just leave it to anyone. But they finally got it on the second day. My Aunt fell in love with it. She collects plants so this is really the best. Im happy that she is happy. read more

I highly recommend this florist, they are not just the business that just makes money and moves about. They actually care about community and people and have a lot of heart and I truly appreciate their flowers are amazing and smell great I can't wait and looking forward to more biz, giving them more business, I know that they are amazing and compassionate and caring firsthand support was so kind towards me and my family as we had just lost our service dog Phoenix, and at the very last minute I needed rose petals, and I am just so very thankful how they took care of us, especially for the sake of my Phoenix, she was carried off like a princess and a queen all in one covered and beautiful, rose petals of many colors I could not, and we could not have been more blessed as we were going through such a traumatizing and devastating moment thank you DONNA ‍ and all with you for coming through for us all and making my Phoenix look amazing and dignified and resting peacefully and such amazing beauty just like the heart of my precious Phoenix and I thank you for having so much heart for all of us and my little girl. So it's the Saturday afternoon before Mother's Day. I need a wedding bouquet PRONTO, as in that Monday. I was not expecting my experience to go the way it did at Waipahu Florist. We walk in and they instantly greet us. When I explain my needs they instantly said, "No problem, can you give us until early afternoon?" I was like, WOW, you can do it that quickly? She said "Sure!" with the such a positive and confident attitude. She helps me pick flowers and colors for my bouquet and gave wonderful suggestions. Monday comes ever so quickly, obviously, and I head back to get my bouquet. Guess what, it was simple and gorgeous!! It was everything I wanted! She was so sweet, and consistently congratulating me. When flowers were delivered it did not look like what we ordered but still very pretty. It looked smaller. It took two days and flowers fully bloomed. It was much more pretty and full. Our boss who we ordered the flowers said that it was the most beautiful bouquet of flowers she ever had. . We will definitely be ordering flowers from Waipahu Florist again. I met the owner several years ago and she was such a beautiful person. In her shop only for a few minutes and she had few regular customers that knew her by name. Ordered the Blush Life Bouquet ($70) from Waipahu Florist for a dear friend for her birthday. We are now in mainland and asked a family member to pick up the bouquet. The bouquet looks nothing like the picture on website and was substantially smaller. We were greatly disappointed with what was sold to us. Sent our family member back in to question the arrangement and was told that the exact flowers were not on hand which we understand. We were also told not to trust the picture on the website. If you can't trust a picture on their own website how can your customers trust you period? Saw a picture once the flowers were delivered and was embarrassed. Costco would provided nicer flowers for less money. read more

I called Waipahu florist last minute on the day of my sister's prom, and they did her corsage very nice. They were also very nice for taking in my order the day of and got it done pretty fast. If I could give zero stars I would....I was so disappointed. My mothers birthday just passed, I ordered a bouquet for her. She's currently in a nursing home and due to COVID visits are very minimal. My moms been feeling lonely and I thought this would cheer her up. it did. I asked her to please take a picture and send it to me. When I say my jaw dropped to the floor, its ridiculous!!! I don't understand where the 5 star reviews are coming from. The shop had literal cats (who look like strays and not like pets) climbing on everything. The refrigerators weren't even running, the shop itself looked like a scene of Hoarders: Buried Alive and the sign outside said the shop was "Closed" at 9:30am when they open at 8am. Seemingly like he's trying to keep ppl from walking in but he has to stay open because it's 9:30. Even when trying to be open to what kind of arrangements he has to offer, he turns down my business and literally sends me to another florist and even gives me directions on how to get there lol. NO CLUE what that was about but I'm not coming back here again. read more

We spoke to several flower companies and none seemed as detailed or responded back as quick as Christine did. We had never met in person but she is very efficient through email. She does get very busy so there were a few times where I had to follow up on a request made but it was not a big deal. She took care of all the boutonnieres for the groom, groomsmen, father of the couple, ushers, and even made mini ones for our tiny ring beareres! For my side she made my bouquet (which I wanted to have our wedding colors in my bouquet of navy blue and gray) and my bridesmaids bouquets which were all white. She also made baby's breath flower crowns for my two flower girls who were different sizes and made the size accordingly. She did the lei for our moms and also for all 25 of our out of town guests. I had wanted more color in my bouquet but I can understand how hard that would be to find navy blue and gray flowers and incorporate them, especially being in Hawaii. But I could tell that she did the best she could. Because our reception was outdoors, we opted not to have any flower decorations. Instead, we wanted to decorate the church aisle. I had asked her for baby's breath posy bouquets on every other row and then ribbon bows on the alternating rows. I sent her a picture of something that I pictured in my head which was very simple. But the bows that she created were BEAUTIFUL. They were wide material and draped beautifully. We ended up using them to redecorate our sweetheart table with them at the reception! I'll try to add some photos for reference. Christine answered all of my questions and was very patient with me in updating our flower plan as I did notice some errors throughout while editing. I highly recommend Christine M. and Created For You Flowers for any kind of floral (or ribbon!) arrangement needs!!

I will not be using their service anymore..

i am all about using businesses in my home town to 'support' local. i went to the shop to place a large order for my aunts funeral only to find several cats in the business ontop of the flowers all over the floors, and also no one at the door. I am extensively allergic to cats and if I ever received flowers from this company, I would probably end up in the hospital.. please get rid of your cats and clean up your store and I might be back but beware anyone allergic to cats. Don't smell their flowers and don't go to the store. read more

We actually started working with Bri a whole year out from our wedding after sending an email inquiry through their website. We showed her pictures and told her what we wanted and she put together a custom proposal that fit exactly what we were looking for. The service was amazing and the overall value was wonderful too, especially for the high quality and care put into everything. The florals held a super deeply personal meaning for me since the design was inspired by my grandmother's garden that I grew up in back in San Diego. We used pink anthuriums that looked just like lilies and mixed with the birds of paradise, Bri completely brought those memories to life. Everything they created was incredible and the florals looked absolutely stunning with Diamond Head in the backdrop during the whole wedding. The ceremony arch piece was breathtaking against that view, and all of our table arrangements looked so amazing and made me feel so overjoyed and blown away. The bouquets and lei for our wedding party were perfect, and my husband and I absolutely loved our custom birds of paradise boutonnieres. Their customer service went completely above and beyond too. I actually ran into Bri and her assistant in the elevator while I was having trouble with my boutonniere, and they were so sweet and kind to stop and help me pin it down right then and there.
