Now that I've been a…read morepatient there for the past 2 months, I completely understand why and have to add my own 5-star review. I cannot think of one thing I would change about my experience. I've been seeing Dr. Gray for prenatal adjustments. Compared to every other woman I know who is or was recently pregnant, I have experienced next to no discomfort in my back and ligaments throughout my pregnancy. Dr. Gray has become a more valuable resource to me than even my regular OB-GYN doctors have been. In the final months of my pregnancy, my doctors were amazed at how well positioned the baby was, which I attribute to the weekly repositioning that Dr. Gray would perform using the Webster technique. Not to mention, every other member on staff at her office is incredibly friendly and helpful. It is such a pleasant experience from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave. I'm so grateful that I found this practice and get to be a patient here.

Dr. Gray has changed my life. And my fiancé's life. She is amazing!…read more I started going to Dr. Gray earlier this year. I moved away from the Crabtree area and it became inconvenient to go to Crabtree Chiropractic, my previous chiropractor. I visited another chiropractor several times, and I realized that bad chiropractors DO exist. Then, I found Dr. Gray and learned that I never really knew what a good chiropractor was in the first place. Dr. Gray's initial exam is thorough, and she doesn't use scare tactics to persuade you into chiropractic care. Her manner is professional, informing, and truly caring. After my first visit with her, I knew I was in good hands -- literally! I immediately told my husband-to-be to switch to her right away. I've referred friends to her as well. Everyone who has gone to her has been completely convinced: a good chiropractor is worth the money and CAN help you. My fiancé and I do martial arts regularly. We put our bodies through so much stress. Dr. Gray "puts us back together" and helps us maintain flexibility and overall joint and skeletal health. She also helps us with ongoing care, including stretches, techniques we can do at home, and tips for keeping ourselves in tact between visits. By far my favorite thing about Dr. Gray as a chiropractor is the care that she puts into each patient -- every single visit. She will start with examining your current range of motion, then decide where to start with adjustments based on your range of motion and how you're body generally handles adjustments. I really feel she knows my body better than I know it myself! She uses a variety of adjustment techniques and positions (drop table, flat table, sitting upright manual adjustments) to best adjust you for your situation. If one method does not seem to be working, Dr. Gray will never "muscle" the technique -- instead, she will try alternative techniques until she is able to approach the adjustment in a way that is easy on your body and comfortable overall. If you've had your neck muscled or jerked around by a chiropractor in the past, you'll appreciate this as much as I do. :) One more thing -- she is also great with extremity adjustments. My fiancé and I both have shoulder issues from having previously separated shoulders, and she has prolonged the surgery process for both of us, and perhaps even made it so I do not need my left shoulder operated on, something that previously seemed inevitable before seeking treatment from her. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about her -- so don't take my word for it, just go do yourself a favor and see her! You won't regret it.

I spent thousands of dollars on recommended tests and they could not find anything "wrong" so I was treated like I was just making things up. They implied that I was just going there to try and get opioids, which I never asked for or even wanted. On my last visit, I had less than 5 minutes with the doctor, and he basically told me there's nothing anyone can do, and gave me a paper recommending me to watch a documentary about losing weight and said that might motivate me to be healthier. He acted like if I lost weight it would fix all my problems. I asked him why he was telling me this, as I was a normal weight when I started having extreme pain, and not being able to move around caused me to gain weight. He basically told me to just try it because he didn't have any other suggestions. I felt very blown off, and even if he couldn't help me, he could have said it in a much better way and without implying losing weight would fix all my issues. Once I went to a different practice, they did find out what was wrong with me and give me a treatment plan that actually helped. I felt extremely disrespected and blown off by this practice and would not recommend it to anyone.

After my last two…read moreconcussions (occurring within the last year 1/2) I've been experiencing increasing difficulty with brain fog, fatigue, flat emotions, and so on, which has prevented me to engage in the normally active lifestyle i love to lead. After finally realizing that I need help, I reached out to Dr Dane at Carolina Brain Center. After a very brief phone consultation, Dr. Dane assured me that she would be able to help and that attending her week-long Brain camp would address my issues. I flew out from Utah to attend this. I regret not seeking help elsewhere, as it was a waste of time and money. Dr. Dane never cared to ask me for details about my extensive concussion history, but still concluded that Brain Camp would help after a few rounds of testing in the first hour of meeting me. She only cared about improving my initial test results (as she says, "data is data) but didn't address the every day, real problems I am experiencing. At one point she told me that this is all just my "new baseline" (what is the point of being here if nothing will change...?) and when I experienced painful headaches during the week, she told me to just take ibuprofen. In the end, Dr. Dane surmised that my brain fog and fatigue were a result of long COVID; it is important to note that this wasn't talked about before I flew out from Utah, and I was actively looking to find a brain specialist to help with my post concussive symptoms. Dr. Dane intentionally led me to believe that she could help with these concussive symptoms, and when she couldn't, blamed it on COVID. It is also important to note that Dr. Dane talked very inappropriately of COVID, stating multiple times that she was "licking doorknobs during the whole pandemic" and never got sick, and called mask-wearing "r*tarded". It's hard to believe someone telling me I have long COVID if they clearly didn't take the pandemic seriously. I worked with Dr. Dane's assistant often as well- on day two, I had asked him if he had experienced many concussions. He then asked me "What about you? Have you had many concussions?" They're 3 people that work in the Carolina Brain Center. It baffled me that one of them didn't even know why I was there for a week long of Brain Camp. I could go on. Overall, I received inattentive, un-personalized treatment, which really was just going through the same tasks every day as Dr. Dane and her assistant sat on their cell phones. When doing hands-on work with me, Dr. Dane often used one hand to hold my head/neck and the other to pet her dogs. After day one of that, I experienced the worst lower back pain perhaps of my life, for weeks. I was extremely uncomfortable and wary of any other hands-on work she did with me following that, which is unfortunate given she is supposed to be a chiropractor.

We knew our girl had a terrible case of ADHD, but had no idea that she could have been helped with brain camp. In addition, Dr Darcy discovered that our daughter's eyes didn't track together properly, which caused a huge dislike for school. And actually, this problem was easily corrected with a special type of glasses. I have no idea why an optometrist would not have found the eye tracking problem, as it sure would have saved a lot of problems during 12 years of schooling, but we are extremely thankful for Dr Darcy's excellent care and services. It changed our daughter's life forever. She now loves school and desires to be a nurse to help people. If you are looking for help with your child regarding ADHD or ADD issues, if you are searching for alternatives that do not include meds, I highly recommend Dr Darcy Dane and the Carolina Brain Center. It was a great investment for our girl's life!

I have insurance Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and have not lapse insurance in I do not know how many years, so this shouldn't happen from a primary care appointment. 2. I gave them my insurance card when i came in and they input my information. 3. they never called me to notify me that i had a bill or sent out notification that i had a bill, so how am i to know i have a bill. 4. I am also a patient access front desk staff for a hospital and am well aware of the no surprise care act where you should not have services rendered and be unaware or surprised by a random cost or bill. Next problem is i was instructed that my insurance company did not pay out after the claim for services were sent in, and that i should call my insurance company, this is also not something I the pt should be doing, but i called anyways and found out nothing was ever recieved by this place. so now i call thier billing department with my bcbs insurance rep on a 3 way call to straighten out and find where the disconnect is, ofc it was on the pcp side as they switched the last two numbers of my policy number when inputing my insurance information. Next problem i have been calling for 3 days straight trying to find out had the issue been resolved and i was also going to schedule my mother a new patient appt for the same day as my upcoming appt. every time i call i was told to hold not asked if i could like the proper protocol but told to hold and immediately placed on hold, ALL 3 TIMES!!!, by the last call i asked her not to place me on hold and she still did, at this point i am now calling to check the resolution of the bill and also to cancel my upcoming appointment as i have lost interest in continuing care with this PCP office strictly off the front desk incompetency alone, to no avail i cannot get them to stop placing me on hold.
