I was told that they do NOT do blood work before a physical and that insurance does not pay for it. It is the Clinic policy. I called my insurance and they DO pay for it prior to your exam. Why do I want to visit my doctor and they have NOTHING to go on. Blood work tells the doctor what your vitals are....I am over 60. They said that they would call me afterwards if something is wrong. What? I want to be able to discuss in person and get feedback. I am changing providers.

It's really important to build a trusting relationship with your PCP however after my recent annual physical, I realized this practice is all about money making. I just asked couple of questions about my general health during my physical, doctor literally spent less than 2 minutes talking about and I got a bill in the mail for my visit (even though annual physical was covered by insurance). I wish Dr had explained this to me during my visit so that I was informed about this and would've taken a decision if I wanted to pursue this or not. I understand business needs money to survive but the way this practice tries to milk you for money is really shady. I will not be going back. Stay away if you can.

The office is very clean and never had a billing issue at this practice. I have seen the nurse practitioner on occasion and she's been very sweet. My wife sees her for physicals at her follow ups. I have recommended my friends to this practice and very happy with my medical care.

Have been seeing doctor Prucha with Duke for years. This new office is enormous with a modern feel…read moreto it. The doctor himself is very straightforward. If he thinks you are fat he will tell you so and discuss the reasons why being overweight is unhealthy. The same is true of other conditions as they relate to your control over your personal health. He likes to 'tell it like it is' but still has a very approachable bedside manner. He is kind and he smiles and discusses simple problems with ease. He also isn't afraid to differentiate between what can be fixed by medicine and what takes personal effort. The office itself is a bit tricky to find, it is the one straight ahead on the far left in the parking lot. All of the buildings kind of look alike. My only other complaint is that there is no actual place to line up inside the office to check in so that can also be confusing.

My pharmacy has sent in the request to refill 3 times - zero response from Preston Medical Associates. This has happened several times now. I called to request the refill. I have an appointment ~45 days away, but the staff is willing to provide only 30 days worth and demands I come in earlier than my appointment time. I have a newborn and a job. I can't just come in whenever I want. This has happened several times now. The lack of response, the incredibly impolite front desk, and terrible business practices can't make up for the otherwise good treatment I receive from Melynda Smith. My expectation is when the pharmacy request a refill, and they're not willing to refill it, they should have called me immediately to state why. Not leave me guessing for almost two weeks (with no medication mind you) just to ask me to come in for tests. 1 star. I need to find a new provider I believe.

The staff is all incredibly kind and welcoming from the welcome desk to the nurses and doctors. When it came to treatment, the staff here listened to my needs and offered amazing advice and options. Without going into much detail, I can positively say Dr. Jessica May has significantly helped me. I'm very grateful for my experience here, and absolutely recommend them if you're looking for a general practice. Shoutout once again to the amazing staff for being wonderful!
