This is a lovely place to enjoy Rexburg quietly. We came for a baseball tournament. It's also close enough to do All the people things. I was thankful for the respite at the end of the day. My family stayed here for nine nights. Beware! They book "buddy spots" and follow a first come first served for the 50amp plug at the pedestal. Due to the fact that someone was there "first" we were without 50amp power for 5 nights with temps in the high 90's-100. We had reserved and paid for a 50amp spot. When the "buddy" left we plugged into the 50amp plug, but then another "buddy" pulled in!! Well, we had our RV plugged into the 50 amp and our new neighbor was NOT happy. He actually threatened to unplug us! The front desk and maintenance personnel were very friendly and nice. After complaining about paying for 50amps and not getting it, I was reimbursed $10 a night for the five nights we didn't have the 50amps. The laundry and bathrooms were clean. The location was perfect for our itinerary for the area. I wouldn't recommend this place based on our experience with the electricity as stated above and the daily outages of power. I don't understand why they would keep putting people in the "buddy" spot knowing they can't provide the electricity for it, just seems they are asking for bad reviews and unsatisfied customers. read more

3 stars because what can you really expect for $25 a night for full hook up site? That is the positive side. Also, really quiet, no riff raf going on during our week long stay. That was due to the rv'ers though, and not any kind of park enforcement. Speaking of, we have not seen anybody around that is managing the facilities day to day. No maintenance or ground crew at all which is strange. Had a wind storm that knocked around lots of debris from the parks trees and 4 days later have yet to clean any of it up. No site grooming between visitors. And several mornings and evenings the water pressure was practically nill. I suppose not a bad place for an overnight but just not our cup of tea. Cannot speak of the laundry or restrooms as we did not use them. read more

My husband and I stayed here for one month from mid-September to mid-October. We give this RV park a 3 for the following reasons... 5 stars - the lake is beautiful! There is a path around the whole lake where we walked our dogs daily. The weather got too cold to swim though so I can't comment on that. The fishing was catch/release and we would rather eat our catch, so we didn't fish. 5 stars - the sites were large enough for us to park our 28' travel trailer, our 10x12 patio carpet and park our pickup truck all next to each other. 1 star - There was NO on site management and only saw someone parked by the office 1 time during our entire stay here even though they have office hours posted. 2 stars - there was a lot of wind this time of year and although management can't control the weather, there were branches that broke out of the trees, leaves, fruit from the trees rotting on the ground, etc. everywhere and we never saw anyone working there cleaning up. 2 stars - the bathrooms/showers and laundry rooms are supposed to have key-code entry but the doors were always open and they weren't too clean. There were some transient people that were using the facilities and seemed a bit sketchy. The washers/dryers were on the honor system and some weren't working and there was no-one to tell. As long as you understand that this is a park where long-term workers are renting spaces, along with over-nighters and weekly/monthly visitors, and theres no management, then it's an ok place to stay. We never felt threatened by anyone but would have liked more on-site management. read more

Came here with my husband for the first time yesterday! Definitely would have been better if the weather was much hotter, but we loved it. The water felt so nice. Having lived near the beach, the sand here is horrible haha. Beautiful view as well. We used the paddle boards and had a blast. Our experience here has been both pleasant and not so good. Scenery and location, clean rest rooms are great! Was not too happy with the staff. We have made phone calls and text messages inquiring about charges and availability. Multiple times we have been told different answers. Dealt with teenagers who we thought worked at the camp office, given multiple answers, lots of confusion. Only to find out, they do actually work there, but are there just to "fill in". I do not believe they have an acceptable reservation in place. They have overbooking issues. There was an available space, the previous tenant left. We were accused of stealing a spot. Not a very good experience. Too much confusion and hassle. No communication on employees end. Will not be returning. read more

Found this place through the Good Sam's website because it was close by the freeway we were traveling on. Great stop to/from West Yellowstone. Wow! This place was amazing. The park host was extremely nice and this place is very clean. There is a nice play set and swings on site as well as a very well maintained sand volleyball court and volleyball a are provided. It's right next to a lake where there are a lot of things to do at a very low cost. See my picture with the info. There are also a lot of dirt bike riding areas within 10 miles. Beautiful place. We loved this location and will stop here again next time we are heading through this direction. read more

Great place to enjoy some family fishing. A lot of fish. Everything is catch and release. There is a lot of small mouth and large mouth bass. I caught one every other cast. You'll catch a lot of small fishes so don't expect monster 5 pounder bass. You'll catch a monster every now and then. Make sure to read fishing instruction before fishing. 10 dollar per person for half a day fishing. No need to have fishing license to fish this lake. All hooks must be barbless. Overall, I'm happy with the fishing at this place during the summer. They also stock on trout. Plenty of other things to do if you don't want to fish. Small beach for swimming. They got wakeboard and paddleboard for rent. There is also an area for rv parking. read more

They messed up our reservation so horribly (reservation was all through email) but other than that the stay was okay. They have some sort of "zip line" over the water that we thought was working but was not. That was a little bit of a bummer. We wish they had some sort of kayak rentals for the lake. That would have made our stay so much better. Bathrooms were clean. Area around the lake was full of weeds, stickers, and dirt. I bet if they kept up on that area, they would get a lot more people coming to stay there. Park was quite and there are lots is space in between each trailer. read more

Sketchy. I booked Wakeside for 3 nights. Arrived and began set up. It was ok... the hook ups were a little beat up but was able to make do. Was under the impression from the website there were fire pits in each spot but this wasn't the case. Kids were bummed. No table either. Noticed the group in the neighboring stall appeared to be living out of their camper / cars / and working on them at one point. Possibly friends/relatives of the host? This place is extremely close to the freeway so it is super noisy at night. Bathrooms/showers = enter at own risk. Nasty. Second day. We left the site for a few hours to go to Bear World and left a couple of camp chairs out only to return to find them gone. Mentioned it to staff at the entrance building and she said she would check with the host and get back to us but that didn't happen. Also noticed that the might be friends/relatives of the host had moved to a different spot and in their piles of crap (or I mean belongings) were two camp chairs coincidentally that looked just like ours that had gone missing. Same day, we were approached by staff and asked to connect our hook ups to the site next to us because a new family arrived and couldn't connect to hookups at their spot. This was annoying since we had just returned and set up our RV for the evening. But whatever. Third day (morning). My husband asked a different staff member at the entrance building about our chairs and she said the host said she hadn't seen them. He said "So I guess they were stolen?" She shrugged and didn't appear to want to help or resolve any further. At this point, we decided not to stay our last night and found a better/cleaner/more attentive location. read more

Our family had so much fun at this RV park over the weekend. We came in from Wyoming for our Family Reunion, first time we stayed and dint drive right back home. The lake is amazing, you can see the bottom and watch the fish swimming around you. This will be our annual stay for the Reunion. read more

Stayed just for one night. Clean restrooms. The park was pretty full. We had made our reservation online which was nice and easy. We usually face the lake but we not this time, but we got to enjoy a beautiful sunset after a very rainy day. Will definitely come back. The park's location, sites, and cleanliness were great BUT, we had an experience our first night that needs to be shared. Upon check in we were told there was a private event at the park 5:30-11:45pm. We were told IN WRITING that the music would end at 9:30 and then they'd be showing a movie. This did not happen. The music continued until 11:45pm and was BLARING. The campground rules state quiet hours begin at 10pm but apparently only the campers are held to that rule, not management. The entire experience was really disappointing. I emailed the park that night (office was closed) and never received a response. This experience definitely will keep our family from going back to this park. read more

This is an excellent stopping point between West Yellowstone and points south such as Salt Lake City. This is a basic, better than average, RV park. Sites are easy to enter, level, wide, and all services worked. The staff was friendly, and knowledgeable. The park is either new or going through a major renovation, none of which diminished our experience. We will stay here on future visits through the area. read more
