This is our 3rd time staying here, and honestly. didn't have any major issues. You can tell the hotel needs a refresh, with cosmetic blemishes all over, but the bed was comfortable, and everything worked this time, including all the lights. We checked in via the mobile app, and they now have a place to make your own room keys. My only complaint is how slow the valet can be. On our 2nd day, when we took the car out to drive around Vegas, the valet ticket they placed on the dashboard was missing upon our return. I have no idea what happened to it. I didn't touch it, but it's possible the guy who got the car for us didn't know we were returning it and took it. What should have been an easy fix turned into a lecture from the Valet host about why they need that 1/2 of the ticket, and that I should make sure it's there and the other guy doesn't take it if we're coming back. I didn't appreciate being treated like I didn't know what I was doing, and how is it suddenly my responsibility to do their job? That irked me a bit. Still, I love the location as it's well-suited between Bellagio, Cosmo, and Aria. I know we'll be staying here again. read more

I am writing to warn others about my experience with Vdara Hotel & Spa's valet service. During my stay in May 2026, my vehicle sustained damage while in the care of the hotel's valet team. Despite providing documentation, reports, and clear evidence of the incident, the hotel's Risk Management department denied any negligence and refused to take responsibility for the damage. The situation escalated to the point where the condition of my vehicle deteriorated significantly after the incident, creating safety concerns for my family. While the hotel eventually offered a minor refund for resort and check-out fees as a "goodwill gesture," they conditioned this on a release of all claims. I declined this offer as it was entirely inadequate given the extent of the damage caused to my vehicle under their care. A hotel without the casino (and smoke-free), this was the spot a bunch of folks stayed at since it was adjacent and connected to Bellagio, Aria and Cosmo, and simpler to hang out at (and cheaper rooms). Suites here were nice. Parking seemed like valet only? Maybe easier to park at Aria/Cosmo and go from there in that lot. A few good restaurants (Carbone, Gymkhana, etc.) and part of the MGM rewards group. Vice Versa (bar) is located here, too, in the center of the lounge area. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel, especially because I have stayed here many times before and have always had a much better experience. I normally book the Panoramic Suite, but this time I chose a different, less expensive room specifically because I wanted a view of the fountains. Unfortunately, I was left waiting practically ALL DAY for my room to be ready. What made the situation even more frustrating was watching other families arrive after me and receive access to their rooms before I did. At this point, I can't help but wonder whether I would have received different treatment if I had paid more and booked my usual Panoramic Suite. As a returning guest, I should not feel like the level of service I receive depends on how much I spend on a room. To make matters worse, this happened during my birthday week--a trip that was supposed to be enjoyable and relaxing. Instead, I spent a significant part of my day waiting and feeling overlooked. LOVE the Vdara. I love that there is a non gaming casino on the strip with views, convenience, great amenities, & GREAT staff! The Vdara is connected to The Aria hotel by a quick tram ride that comes often and its located within close walking distance. There is no gaming in this hotel - there is also no smoking so it feels good to go to bed without having to drag casino smoke into the room with you. There is a bar, Starbucks, & a cafe located downstairs and they are all great! I highly suggest staying at The Vdara if u need a break from crazy strip hotels with casinos. read more

However, for a hotel in this price range, I was surprised that the hand soap, body wash, and shampoo all had the exact same scent. It just felt like an odd choice. I was also disappointed that the bottled water and in-room coffee didn't seem to be complimentary and appeared to come with an extra charge. Nice little hotel off the side from Aria and Cosmo! It's not like the regular hotels in vegas with bustling casinos at the first floor, which surprisingly, I kind of liked! There is of course a bar and a 24 hour convenience store. There's also the tram that runs alongside aria and cosmo, so you can hop hotels pretty easily, plus, it's not that far of a walk. Easy uber and lyft pick up spots, workers were all very nice too. They even had a kitchenette! That was my favorite, because every time I come to Vegas, I usually save my leftovers, but other hotels don't have a fridge. This place at least had a mini fridge and a working stove. read more

I stayed for 1 night and 2 nights on 2 occasions on a weekend while family was visiting. The rooms are suite-ish, all of them I believe. Kitchen, stove, fridge, all of that! It's nice to have that extra space. The 2 night stay started out pretty bad. We arrived to check in at 8 pm and were told the room wasn't ready. We had a corner suite reserved. We knew something was up at this point. When we got the room keys for the suite, we were apprehensive. Upon entering the suite, it smelled musty. We didn't see anything unusual so we left the room after a short while to enjoy the rest of the night. This suite even had washer/dryer! The room still smelled when we returned and we decided to go to sleep and hope it was better in the morning. I slept on the foldout couch which was pretty comfortable. It turned out the carpet was wet in the bedroom causing the musty smell. So they decided to give us the room knowing it wasn't dry yet. Oy vay! We switched rooms to a regular 2 queen room and they agreed to comp the room. I guess it turned out OK but I was enjoying the suite! During my 1 night stay, we had a bevvie at ViceVersa (former Bar Vdara) on the patio, near a firepit. They had seasonal cocktails, which was nice. Breakfast at ViceVersa was pretty good. It wasn't crowded and I enjoyed not having to wait to eat! I used the pool during the 2 night stay and found it enjoyable. It wasn't crowded and the vibe was casual. Vdara is a good choice for location and amenities but they lost me with their shady handling of the wet carpet. read more

This hotel is nice, but frustrating. Let's start with the nice. My room was pretty, it had a nice view, and it seemed to be "modern." I also enjoyed not having a casino in the building which to me made it seem more quiet as well as less smoky. And while I enjoyed my room, there were things that frustrated me. The fitness center had very limited hours. It was open from 6a - 5p. That means if you rise early or want to work out in the evening - you're not doing it in this hotel's gym. I believe you can go to the cardio center at Aria, but still. Second frustrating point was the cost. If you want to eat or drink - you're going to pay dearly. I posted a picture of an $8 Coke. You're better off hitting a grocery store instead. I used to love visiting the Las Vegas strip. It just doesn't seem worth it anymore. read more

MGM, is everything ok? I've stayed at Vdara many times, and six years ago it was truly a luxury property: clean, quiet, smoke-free, with beautiful views. Based on that experience, I booked a Stay-Well Executive Corner Suite for this trip--specifically for the promised enhanced cleaning, air filtration, and higher room standards. Unfortunately, this was one of the dirtiest and most poorly maintained hotel stays I've ever had, and absolutely not what you expect from a $600/night room (about $2,000 total for three nights before tax and resort fees). We arrived a little before midnight after checking in online earlier in the day. Getting the keys was smooth--that was the last smooth part of the stay. The moment we entered the suite, it was obvious the room had not been serviced and had suffered years of heavy wear without proper maintenance: * Brownish-yellow water came out of the bathroom faucet and drained extremely slowly (I foolishly thought this was a Stay-Well Vitamin C water, only to find out later that there was a plumbing issue) * Broken light fixtures and damaged lamp. * Carpet stained, worn, and lifting. * Thick dust on surfaces and screens. * An uncapped pen left out, as if someone had been in the middle of using it. * And worst of all: hairs in the bed from multiple people, stains on the couch, and slight fecal stains left in the toilet. This was a Stay-Well room--sold on enhanced cleanliness. When I called the front desk at midnight, exhausted with young children, I was offered two options: 1. Move to a non-Stay-Well room, or 2. Wait for housekeeping. There was no apology, no sense of urgency--just two matter-of-fact options. Vdara did send a bellman with new keys, which I appreciated, but by then my child had fallen asleep and I was too tired to move. I had morning meetings and left in a rush, expecting the room to be properly serviced when I returned later in the day. When I came back around 5 PM, I went to the front desk to finish the unfinished complaint even going back to the room. I was told housekeeping had been in the room three times, "cleaning and inspecting." While I was there, coincidentally, someone else arrived to the counter next to me with the same complaint. After nearly an hour at the front desk and speaking with a manager, Vdara finally agreed to switch my room but the new room was still being cleaned, so not actually ready (fishy at 6:30 PM if you think about it). But I was happy with the resolution and went back to the room to wait. Only to find out that I had been lied to. When I returned to the room: * The bed was still unmade. * Trash was still there. * Fingerprints remained on the closet doors. * The same stains were untouched. * And the fecal stains in the toilet were still there. The only thing housekeeping appears to have done was return a minibar item my toddler had picked up. Before moving our belongings to leave Vdara for good, I took a good look as I walked through the property and noticed: * Cracked tiles and damaged wood panels in the elevator. * Stained, bubbling, and dirty hallway carpets. * Trim and finishes throughout showing heavy wear and neglect. The condition of the hotel overall confirmed that this wasn't an isolated housekeeping miss. It felt like a property that had been left behind by MGM, overshadowed maybe by the more bustling Aria and the slightly younger Cosmopolitan next door. I've had better experiences at basic motels. Vdara is far past its prime and no longer resembles the luxury, wellness-focused hotel it once was. The Stay-Well Executive Suite was nowhere near the standard marketed, and the response from staff made the situation significantly worse. I truly hope MGM re-evaluates the upkeep and management (or housekeeping) of Vdara, because in its current state, it does not deserve the "luxury" label. However, from the one-star Yelp reviews that mirror my experience that I'm just seeing now, it seems that MGM sadly, does not care. read more

My partner and I stayed here for edc ! We checked in on Thursday and left on Monday ! I had originally booked it till Tuesday but lowkey we were so freaking exhausted and just left early . Check in was super fast and easy , I checked in online and got my QR code but I wanted to ask them about the f&b credit I got so I did end up waiting in line . I had gotten a daily $100 f& b for booking during the sale they had a few months ago . The rooms at vdara are all suites ! We got a king size bed and it was more than enough space for two people . I'm not really much of a gambler and aria is literally right next door so I think this hotel was perfect for us. The design is a little outdated but the room was clean and I really liked the mini fridge . I would not mind staying at vdara again . The only thing that I didn't like was that the TV was not a smart TV so I was not able to watch Netflix . The 24/7 cafe downstairs was perfect for getting drinks / snacks . When we wanted actual meals we just walked to aria next door. Parking is valet only $40 per day but it was so worth it because when your coming back from walking around all night you really don't want to be walking all the way back from hotel parking . I highly recommend staying at this hotel when planning on staying in the strip. Everyone that works here is very helpful and kind. There's so many nice places to sit and relax. The rooms are big and have everything you would need. I've stayed at this hotel before but recently we were just visiting and they gave us a guest key to go to spa and purchase the incense. We enjoyed staying here. We aren't big gamblers so not having a casino downstairs wasn't a must, but that could be a deal breaker for some- depending why you're at Vegas. The rooms were big, it came with a fridge, which I thoroughly appreciated as I like my water cold. It was spacious for just two people in the room. I would say that we took Ubers 75% of the time, and sometimes our Uber drives were a little confused with Aria's entrance versus Vdara as they're technically right next door. Even though Vdara is "on the strip" it's kind of in the back. But there are ways to walk around the strip without walking outside much, which I do like that about Vegas. If the price was right, I would stay here again. It can get pricey on some dates. read more

Never ever stay here. The staff is actually friendly and wonderful. The issue is the hotel itself. It does not have a great cooling system so if you don't, if you like being hot then stay here. But if you like a hot shower, just know that the water went out for a very long time so there was no hot water all evening and it's hard to get dressed up for the party. The hot water went out around 7:30 PM and didn't come back on apparently until two in the morning. With a huge hotel like this a handful of check in staff even when the desk is full is simply not acceptable. The line to check in on Sunday was about a 25-45 min wait. Didn't they know we'd were coming? The lobby is hot and not cooled appropriately for how close the doors are to the front desk. It was probably a good idea for a hotel but they need way more staff and a working air conditioner. Staff is nice! They just work at a hotel with fundamental flaws. Rooms don't cool below 69 degrees so sad The fire alarm went off in the lobby and it's so loud. Regretting booking here. read more

I really fought to stay in this property during my last visit on the first week of December, but was met with disappointment after disappointment. The valet and bag drop-off service was by far the best thing that ever happened to this hotel. I needed to drop off my luggage because I had to pick up my parents at the airport, and it wouldn't fit in the car. And the valet service and the bellman made my transition so smooth and easy. I pulled up to the hotel, dropped off my luggage, was given a ticket, and was in and out in less than 5 minutes. A couple of things to remember: staying here, self-park is in Aria. The access to it is not where the hotel is, it is literally on the back by the crystal shops. It is quite a walk, and you need to take a tram. Vdara and Bellagio are connected, though, via a walkway, which was nice. Self-park is $20, and valet is $40. So we returned to officially check in and requested to see if we can get any upgrades, and the guy immediately said no without checking their system which is fine. We got to the room, and it was not what I expected. It was old, it had carpet stains on it, and the TV was mounted as if it were ready to fall at any time. My expectation was a bit too high for this hotel. I did appreciate the no-casino and no-smoking parts of this hotel. On the first night, I used the food and beverage credit for our hotel room. The room was booked under my stepdad's name, and when I purchased food downstairs in the little cafe, they allowed me and had no issue with it. On the last night, when we tried to use it again, my brother was suddenly denied access because the room wasn't under his name. This really annoyed me, cause how are you gonna say he can't do it when I was able to do it on the first night. I spoke to the cafe manager about this, since inconsistencies like this frustrate your guests. I also went up to the front desk again the night before our checkout to request a late checkout, nothing insane, just an extra hour, and once again, they said no. The front desk was so quick to say no, which really frustrated me. I say this because the following day, I called them to request a late check-out, and it was granted. So I don't know what's up with their front desk, but I've learned their department is quick to say no. I can only imagine the people who had to pay full price for the same room we got and would've been disappointed cause their quality is so bad. Room service is also disappointing. They had my food delivered in a bag instead of an actual plate. The photos do not reflect the actual room. I'm glad I tried it once, cause I won't be staying here again. read more

No dishes or glasses or soap, nothing in kitchen?! Refrigerator wasn't working. Safe didn't work. Bathroom- walked into a clump of hair in the shower drain, hair on the ceiling (?!). None of the pumps in the shower worked. The views? Excellent. Bed was comfortable and tv worked thank god. The coffee shop / market downstairs the lattes were awful and the starbucks was double the price of any other locations. Had an incredible two night stay here for BSB at the Sphere! We chose this location bc it's smoke and casino free (for mom) and it worked out great! I will def be back. One set of guest elevators so it feels more personal than say the Bellagio or Aria. Aria is just a short outdoor walk. And if you stay Vdara you can also use Aria gym and pool so I feel it's such a great value. Aria gym is THE BEST. I also used Vdara gym (treadmill, elliptical, stairs, DBs and a few machines) and spa (hot tub, steam room, dry sauna and got a facial) and they were smaller, yes, but adequate, high quality, great service, just not as big as other resorts. Love the Starbucks right in the lobby for mobile orders. Checking luggage was amazing after checkout and before our afternoon flight - super helpful and friendly staff! Main Vdara entrance is just steps from the guest elevators and makes catching an uber very convenient especially for my mom who needed to limit walking due to a foot/knee issue. Our room was spacious. Included a small kitchenette. Huge tub, walk in shower and blackout (thought not 100% if you're sensitive to morning light) and comfy beds with a closet for luggage, desk with two chairs and tv. We will be back! Our home away from home. Call me crazy, but I LOVE having a kitchenette in the room even if I'm not using it. LOL We like to rent a car when we're in Vegas and eat off the strip (yummier and cheaper) so we'' almost always overorder and have leftovers and the fridge and microwave come in real handy. Each room is a suite. Spacious and clean. Some rooms even have a dishwasher and laundry and dryer machines dagnabit. Note: Vdara does NOT have a casino, but you can easily walk over to Aria or Cosmo to get your gambling fix. It's never bothered us. It's connected via walkway to Cosmo (indoors) and connected to Aria (walk outside) right next door. The rooms we've stayed here in the past: Corner City Suite (most recently), Executive Corner Suite, Studio Parlor, Studio Fountain View. The Executive Corner Suite hands down has the nicest view with 2 bathrooms, but honestly, any room will do as they are all suites with kitchenettes! Vdara is and always will be our #1 place to stay in Vegas. (Having MGM Gold helps too with Valet) read more

This hotel sent me a reduced price room to get me to go. The stay was absolutely horrendous. The best part was being able to walk directly to the bellagio for everything. The problem was the room. It looked like a motel 6. Please see pictures attached. It also smelled like a sewer leak, which you cant reference through a picture. Also the room was dusty as hell. Look at the picture I took of the air vents in the room. Complete carelessness by the staff. What upsets me the most is the hotel is so unapologetic about it. They think you're cattle and could care less about you. Never staying here again. Literally the Wynn/ Founteinbleu or Cosmo are the only hotels that care about cleanliness it seems. read more

We traveled to Las Vegas from California with our two children, so we had already been on the road for hours and arrived tired and ready to settle into our room. Unfortunately, our experience at Vdara started off stressful and disappointing almost immediately. First, Vdara does not have self-parking. We struggled to figure out where we were supposed to park, and after finally finding parking elsewhere, we then had to wait for the tram and make our way over in 114-degree Las Vegas heat with two tired children and our luggage. It was an exhausting way to arrive at a hotel. Unfortunately, that wasn't even the worst part. When we finally got to Vdara, our room wasn't ready. We were told it would be about an hour, so we waited. Our 6-year-old and 9-year-old were exhausted after the drive and just wanted somewhere to lie down and rest. After waiting the full hour, we were told that our room was STILL not ready. At that point, we were told they could give us a different room, but that room had some issues that needed to be fixed. Keep in mind, Vdara is an expensive hotel. This isn't one of the typical inexpensive Las Vegas hotels where you might pay $70 a night and adjust your expectations accordingly. At Vdara's prices, I expected a much smoother experience and certainly a room that was ready and functional. The front desk gave my husband cards for the pool while we waited, which honestly wasn't a practical solution at all. We had all of our luggage with us, we were dressed for a long road trip, not for the pool, and we had two exhausted children. Were we supposed to somehow change, deal with all of our luggage, and go swimming while waiting for a room? While we were waiting near the elevators, a staff member stationed in that area was having a personal conversation and repeatedly using the F-word right in front of our 6-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter. I understand that adults swear, but hotel employees should have enough awareness and professionalism not to have loud, profanity-filled personal conversations in front of guests, especially young children. When we finally got upstairs, a maintenance employee had to come to the room to fix some of the issues. After working in the room, he used one of the small bathroom towels and then tossed it into the sink. Again, not exactly the first impression you expect after paying premium prices for a hotel. Another thing that surprised us was the kitchenette. There were no basic kitchen supplies such as paper towels, forks, plates, etc. Apparently, you have to request these items and wait for someone to bring them. If you're booking Vdara specifically because the rooms have kitchenettes, this is something worth knowing ahead of time. Overall, the entire arrival experience was exhausting. After driving from California with two children, struggling with parking, dealing with the extreme heat and transportation to the hotel, waiting for a room that wasn't ready, being offered another room that needed maintenance, and listening to an employee swear repeatedly in front of our children, we were already frustrated before we even had a chance to settle in. For the price and reputation of Vdara, I expected a much higher level of organization, professionalism, and attention to guests. read more

I chose vdara because it was in close proximity to the concert we were attending. We haven't received any room service for the 3 nights we were here! Spoke with housekeeping tonight and they said "don't worry we have a night crew that will come in and service your room when you come back" came back to our room still messed up. Spend your money somewhere else. Their swimming pool sucks too btw. Don't get me started on that. read more

Great room!!! Very spacious with a king bed and a pull out conch and never felt squished with all out suitcases just laying around. The housekeeping staff did such an incredible job they even organized out bathroom and our makeup!! Real angels!!! Will for sure be back!! read more

Two years and four more stays later, just came back to reaffirm that Vdara is still one of my favorite places in Vegas! While they're very much in need of renovation, housekeeping has been doing a really good job of keeping these rooms clean and meat. Visited Las Vegas for the first time and chose Vdara to stay at as a first experience, i was in town for EDC (my birthday) so i guess i had high hopes. The location of the hotel was on the strip with Aria directly across. The lobby of Vdara was lively but also quiet because there's no casino and i was very grateful there was no smoking. So the environment overall just felt more clean and not loud! There is a starbucks inside that makes getting coffee very accessible, along with a Market Cafe that's part of Vdara which has amazing serving and a pretty good choice of stuff to order whether you want a snack / drink or to sit and chill. There is also a restaurant lounge inside. So if you don't feel like leaving the hotel it makes it super convenient. I wouldn't say the cost is super cheap but hey you get what you pay for and i wanted something more upscale. Which leads me to my next part. So check in wasn't exactly smooth, i tried to do it online but it was giving me an error. So i went up to the front desk and it wasn't entirely organized at first. I also don't even know the name of the first girl who helped me but she also never gave me a receipt (which i was particularly annoyed at) They make you pay for your entire stay upfront. I stayed may 14-20th. Part of what you pay is a $400 USD damage deposit on top of your stay cost. Other than paying she never really did anything else for me except give me my keycards, no actual greeting or introducing herself and also never even told my room number i had to like look at the envelope when i got to the elevator. Got up to my room, though it was big and pretty there was things missing. I know for a fact a room is supposed to be fully stocked in terms of say like mini bar/ your complimentry water / tea bag's (some even snacks) pending on hotel .. but honestly to my surprise there was absolutely nothing at all. In the washroom there was no toiletries that was travel size for you to use or bring home. Which i was shocked at. By the bed there was no slippers either. There wasn't even robes in the washroom. I was scratching my head and i went downstairs to the lobby the following day and i asked is there supposed to be slippers etc and i was told yes. Meaning my hotel room didn't even get stocked. So in reality to be honest my room was incomplete daily. If you want water you have to go to the front desk and ask for water and you get 2 bottles, i also learnt from another guest you can get complimentary toothbrush/robe/slippers and honestly there is more. To have to ask and not have it in your room seems like a little misleading. And by the way guys if you have an MGM rewards card don't forget to use it everywhere including starbucks or market cafe etc, the staff never told me so i missed out my entire stay. Also when i checked out from the app online .. the summary they gave me looks visually really lacking. It would be nice to get the exact breakdown of each day emailed to you even after you checkout. So just make sure to double check things and ensure you are getting billed correctly. I'm not sure if i would necessarily stay again at this hotel, i think my friends had a better experience at MGM grand. So i'll probably try with them next time. By the way the moment you walk in the studio it had a very strong scent of intense cologne and i'm not sure if it's their cleaning supplies or maybe it was never cleaned hence it was never stocked up. Just be aware if you are sensitive to smells. My room was on the 11th floor, had a really nice view there even was a little stove/ microwave and a dining room table, a mini fridge right next to the front door on the ground. Weird placement .. i assume normally that's where someone would wanna leave their shoes. So the layout was kinda strange. read more

One of the best non-casino hotels on the strip. Their standard suite is 582 square feet with a small kitchenette, a mini fridge, microwave, a bedroom area, and a large bathroom with a wash tub to soak in. They have blackout blinds and shades that you can control with a switch. The last time I stayed here it was in the bigger 800 square feet suite with washing machines and everything mentioned. The smaller suite is actually good enough for 3-4 people IMO. The few issues we did encounter were addressed by the hotel staff. At one point we left the door to our suite slightly ajar while we were inside and hotel security called to check on us. The staff here was definitely on it. I'd stay here again. The tram or walkways that lead to the Bellagio, Aria, and Cosmo are nice touches. read more

The Vdara Suite has a furnished living room with a sofa that has a pull-out queen size bed, kitchenette, large refrigerator, washer/dryer, a separate bedroom, a huge full bath, and a half bath. Vdara, is a non-smoking, pet friendly, gambling free resort. If you feel like gambling, there is an outdoor walk-way to Aria, it's an easy quick walk, and an indoor hall to Cosmopolitan. There is a free tram that goes to Bellagio, Park MGM, and the Crystals Shopping Mall. Every day we visited the Market Café Vdara for a quick bite and snack, located downstairs they are opened 24/7. They have a variety of sandwiches, pastries, drinks, snacks, ice cream from the freezer, and a small section of household type of items. There's also a Starbucks, and a Patio & Lounge. The lobby has plenty of chairs for people to relax and watch the cute dogs walking around, after all it is a pet friendly resort. The front desk workers are super friendly and offer free bottled water to Vdara guests. Very relaxing vibe at Vdara, our stay here was peaceful and quiet. You'll need to scan your room key in the elevators to take you to your room to your particular floor only. We had friends staying on different floors, had to arrange to meet in the lobby. The concierge was nice enough to print our flight boarding pass, and the bell desk held our luggage after we checked out so that we can browse the strip before leaving for the airport. read more

This place is nice place but the customer service is horrible! The front desk workers name is Bronson. I asked if there are any charges and told me my charges and I said I didn't use that..." he said you used it not me".... What kind of answer is that to a customer! He walked away from me and took his coworker to the back started talking crap and came back with nothing! How can he work here as a Vdara front desk ? And have a bad customer service!!
