I wish I had read the reviews first before taking my truck here. Long story short, they claimed I needed a solenoid pack to correct my engine light problem. I paid the, $1,800.00 picked it up and on the way home, a red-light shaped like a gear came on, and I took it back. They claimed there was no problem. After this incident, I didn't drive it far for fear it would overhead and break down. A couple of days ago the engine light came back on again, and now they are saying I need a transmission, but they don't make them anymore. My personal belief is that they just turned off the engine light code, to take advantage of an elderly senior citizen. I wrote them a letter. No one has called or contacted me. I've bought several trucks from here and every time the buying experience has been great. I bought a truck here in May I had Jordan help me (which I will give five stars to him great salesman). However everything after the fact has been horrible. My temp tags ended up running out before they told me they couldn't get me tags because of an insurance issue and the only reason I was told is because we had to hound them. We've been trying to get the door handle fixed on the truck where someone smashed a door into it on their lot that I pointed out before purchasing and was promised it would be fixed and it hasn't. I've talked to a sales manager that tells me to bring it in on Monday but won't tell us a time to bring it in. The last response I got was "let you know shortly" over a week ago. I was not let know anything. They also issued and mailed a check for a refund for the tags they couldn't get that I also have not received. They do a great job of selling you the vehicle but anything after that is like pulling teeth. Hello, this is Zepplin Robinson, I have had a 2016 Ram Promaster city serviced twice recently, new engine due to oil consumption and new axle due to tech install error of said motor replacement. The job started at the Waldorf location and ended up at prince Frederick location where my only work van stayed for the entire month of December. Neither location has loaners and I ended up losing $2k because of the tech error, the tech tried to lie his way out of the error saying the tow driver damaged the oil pan underneath, i havent had a chance to look underneath myself because i dont have time to as im trying to dig myself out of the hole this has caused. They ended taking care of it after i pointed out that the axle shaft has to be unbolted from the engine. I have been leaving messages at both dealerships and Mr. Wes. Mr. Council etc. Nobody is getting back to me , I tried Stellantis to see if they would do it since they did it the first go around and they too are having a hard time getting in touch to see the problem. So where do we go from here? Do I have to send someone to court? $2k doesn't even cover it all, I'm self employed and do auto glass so the whole month of December, I'm pulling up to customers in a U-Haul van with $19.99 on the side. Then things slow down, I had to cut short my daughter's bday and Xmas because I have to manage funds, then the final bill sends my credit card over the limit causing me to lose 50 something points on my credit score. read more

Customer Service this "Disgusting, Deplorable, and Disingenuous" is what's wrong with car dealerships On Saturday, November 30th I traveled quite some distance to visit the Waldorf Dodge Ram Dealership, located at 2294 Crain Hwy, Waldorf, MD. My reason for visiting was very simple - it was regarding a "Dealership Listed Vehicle," on Craigslist, that was posted and managed by employees of the dealership. I entered the dealership in an optimistic and upbeat mood, looking forward to the prospect of learning more about and having a look at a silver 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis GS. Keep in mind, that I had been in communication with a member of the dealership via phone about the vehicle prior to visiting the dealership. Everything was fine until I encountered, "Sales Professional, Carlos Miller." Carlos (see picture) is not only a terrible "professional and employee, he is a shameful, vile, and contemptible human being." His very existence is an embarrassment to the global community. Now, let me tell you why?! Carlos was incredibly rude, condescending, and unprofessional in his interactions. When I was approached by Carlos regarding the $5,900 Grand Marquis, which was the communicated price via my earlier interactions, he attempted the oldest and most abominable trick in the car salesman book, "BAIT & SWITCH." Carlos odiously stated that the price is "Actually $7,900." His discreditable tone and demeanor only worsened when I attempted to kindly explain that the Craigslist ad (which I was already communicating with an employee about) said something different, he replied in the nastiest tone he could muster, "I ain't list that price, that's not right. You can either buy it at $7900 or not at all." After being spoken to so disrespectfully, I gathered by things and left the dealership. Once in my car, another employee, Mr. Al, who was much nicer than Carlos, came out and apologized about Carlos' horrendous customer service. Though I appreciated Mr. Al's effort, I explained that the damage inflicted by Carlos is done and the "good cop / bad cop," routine will not work. The employee understood, apologized again, and went back into the dealership. Carlos' unprincipled conduct should lead to his immediate termination and anyone looking for a new or used vehicle should AVOID the "Waldorf Dodge Ram dealership," at ALL COSTS. Under no circumstance should you, your family or friends, EVER visit this dealership. My husband and I went to Waldorf Dodge just to browse at trucks. Upon walking around and checking out Rebels and 1500 we were greeted by a very nice gentleman Robb Jones. Robb was extremely genuine and honest from the very beginning. You could just tell he truly cares about his customers and kept our best interest in mind. After test driving two trucks we went inside and Mark Anthony began crunching numbers for us. Let me just tell you, this man is the BOSS. The service department was so rude on the phone. I called because when getting an oil changed I was informed my transfer case was leaking. They recommended I call the dealership since my car was likely under warranty still. When I called I explained the issue and was told it needed to be examined. I said that was no issue. I asked if I just needed to swing by or what he said "it isn't that simple" and I had to wait a week for an appointment. He said I could drop it off Tuesday, wasn't given any appointment time, wasn't asked if I planned to drop it off or wait. Nothing. He was very sassy in his tone...I didn't appreciate it. Update: Appointment was apparently at 0735. I was told I'd be charged $140 just for them to look and see if it was in fact leaking. All of this would have been nice to know prior to my arrival. These guys were patient with me because I was dealing with a 3rd party warranty company. I want to really give a big shoutout to Jimmy! This guy exemplified above average customer service and transparency with me from the beginning. Making all the calls and doing all the leg work without hesitation. Every time I would call to ask if he could call the warranty company or do this or that he'd already be ahead of me. Took our 2014 Dodge Journey to the dealership service department after receiving the 2nd mailing for a anti-lock brake recall. After well over an hour waiting in a nasty waiting room (or space sectioned off by a bench).... I hunt them down to ask for a progress report and that's when they tell me they don't have the required parts! They want me to come back in 3 days! ( understanding that the second mailing specifically states that the parts are available). So, I have to drive my vehicle home after they verified a problem with the anti-lock brakes! Complete amateurs masquerading as a full up a round dealership. Terrible experience. The new location is a major step backwards. The service manager seemed annoyed and acted like I was wasting his time... Completely failed to understand that it was my time that was being wasted. It's simple.... if a product you sell requires a recall... Make certain that the customer doesn't have to waste their time with multiple trips back to the service department. I bought a 2014 Charger earlier in the year from a dodge dealership in Lorton VA and six weeks later my check engine light came on. I was living in Waldorf at the time and took my car there to be serviced. The first time I went to this dealership to get it fixed, I waited four hours to find out that it needed a software update. After I returned home, the light came on later that day but I had traveled out of town. The second time I took it back to get checked when I returned about one week later, I dropped it off for the day. I returned to pick it up and once again within 24 hours the check engine light had returned. When I came back for the third time, I asked what was going on with getting it fixed. One of the personnel who worked at the front, Chris was rude and had an attitude before I even said anything to him. I witnessed him being hostile to the customer who went before me but I had no other choice on who could help me without waiting for a long time. The response I received about my car was short, and told me there wasn't a transmission tech there who could fix my car so I would have to take it to another dealership. He didn't offer any service to tow it there or give me other options on where to take it. He also told me that "the last time you came here, I told you it was a transmission problem if the update didn't fix it" which was untrue. I reached out to the service manager at the dealership who was just as curt but didn't resolve anything, he parroted what Chris had told me. I don't feel like anything was even attempted to be resolved for me. The Alexandria dealership I ended up going to afterwards had much better customer service and was accommodating, but my Waldorf experience was subpar. read more

I feel that the quality of a dealership's service department is a direct reflection of what one should "look forward to" from the sales side. this positive experience at this dealership's service department will make me want to come to this dealership again, not just for service, but for when i am in the market to buy my next dodge. I do not recommend anyone to purchase a pre-owned certified or used vehicle from this dealership. I have never experienced such a horrible purchasing experience. I purchased a 2019 Dodge Charger SXT Plus on September 8th. I bought it back about 3 weeks later because the suspension had some issues with the shocks. The service advisor wanted to change it but the used car manager Carlos insisted I put over 1,000 miles on the car so that he could use my extended warranty that I purchased with my car sale. I didn't understand how you wanted me to wait and drive a car with faulty shocks. I will say the general Manager Mike did help with getting my car serviced and making sure I was in a loaner vehicle. However they only fixed one side so I had to return a week later for the other side to be fixed. Now I noticed my car holds funky odors and I asked for the service records to see if the cabin air filter has been replaced before and the general manager was so nasty, condescending, inconsiderate, and spoke down to me as if I was incompetent and he insisted I wanted everything done for free. I never asked for anything free I did ask would this be something I am responsible for since I purchased this car almost two months ago and honestly the cabin air filter should have been replaced before selling the car as it's recommended every 15,000 to 30,000 miles and per the service advisor this car has NEVER had that work perform before. So why should I be paying for something that has never been done. How do you determine a vehicle is certified if you aren't checking all components of the vehicle. I do not appreciate being talked down on and someone insinuating I want everything down for free because I am not that type of customer. I do not recommend anyone purchasing from this dealership. I have NEVER experienced such a unforeseen experience in my life with none of my Acuras that I own. I highly recommend to look into the demographics of the area you are shopping because it's a huge difference of how you are treated and valued. What a great experience. We recently purchased a preowned Journey from Waldorf Dodge. That was wonderful. There was a issue with a door panel in the rear. Our sales person walked us to the service desk and asked CP to look at the vehicle. He was kind and personable! He apologized for the inconvenience and said he would have to order a whole new door panel, but not to worry it would be completely covered under warranty. Three days later he called said the part was in and asked if we had time to bring it in tomorrow( Thursday) I told him that would not work for me I had to help my father all day. Bought a 13 Durango Citadel April of last year! Worst mistake I ever made! Already have had the truck back to Dodge 10+ times! Every time they would say they could find nothing wrong and try to blame it on my exhausts! The entire time it was a drive-shaft! I bought it brand new and the drive-shaft went bad at 6k miles! The left front suspension makes all kinds of noises but "nothing is wrong"... Then I go to drop it off when they scheduled the repair and they say it would be about 5 days, so after day 5 they call to tell me the drive-shaft was on national back-order and that they couldn't tell me when one would be available. I then raised hell and I'm assuming they got one off of another Durango they had on the lot. Why they let me take off work and waste my time and money and gas to bring it to them if they didn't even have the part makes no sense at all! Now, 4 months later, I get a recall letter about the power brake booster needing replace. I called them Tuesday and told them this so they scheduled me in for today. I drop the vehicle off and 4 hours later get a call that the part is on back-order so I can pick the truck up and they will call me when the part comes in. AGAIN, why wouldn't they check the availability when I called to tell them what needed done? And 2, why wouldn't they call when I dropped the vehicle off in the morning? This is now the second time I have wasted time and money when they scheduled me in for a repair and it was for nothing because the part is on back-order! Obviously if there is a recall, they should have plenty in stock! And they should be checking for these parts when the customer calls and schedules the repair. I can honestly say, I'm not happy with Waldorf Ford & Dodge and will not be referring any buyers their way! And I certainly will never buy from them again! The truck is great but, I was sold an extra package with the truck which is supposed to cover things like flaking chrome on rims, lost key fob, paintless dent repair etc. This system is not worth the extra cost. The dealership should not be selling Safeguard services with their vehicles as they are a terrible third party organization and not reputable. But, if they do decide to continue selling these policies, they should do a much better job advocating on behalf of the purchasing customer and not the insurance company. read more

Since I have moved to the Waldorf area, this is where I have been going for service work on my Durango SXT and have had nothing but a great experience, and all kudos to the my mechanic Ruben. When I started looking to upgrade to the Durango R/T this was the first place I thought of because the relationship with the service department. Now, my options avaible weren't vast but they had exactly what I was looking for and after hours of paperwork with trading in the SXT for the R/T, I made it out alive. Fast forward to 3 weeks later, I get an email from my previous lender stating my payment for my SXT was successful. Thinking it must be a mistake, I call them and they have no record of me trading-in the SXT. I then follow up with the dealership and after being bounced around the financing department for about an hour, because they seem to notbe able to find any record of me even purchasing a car from them. I then find a competant individual. I was then informed they have 30 days to pay off the vehicle I traded in, but they are going to pay the ammount I owed at the time of purchase, of the SXT/RT trade-in, which entitles me a refund of whatever is left afterwards. Which after being sold on, "45-days of no payment" when buying the R/T, which now means nothing since I am paying on a car I no longer have. And to add to the nonsense, because the purchase went through their hours of operations, I was told to come beack the next day so they can do a full detail and gas it up. When i test drove it, my salesman is the one who pointed it out to me that it had 16 miles to empty. Now I did put $20 of gas in it so I could make it to and from work they next day, but after dropping it off to be cleaned and gassed up, they told me they are only allowed to be $40 in it. So I would recommend this dealership for service work, but ABSOLUTELY nothing else. read more

WORST PLACE TO BUY A VEHICLE. I bought a 2008 Toyota Tundra with 92,000 for $15,000. They sold me the truck with a (we owe u) document to address the concerns i had on my test drive promising to fix them. Turned out the truck should have never of passed Inspections at all. It had a bent axle, bad axle wheel bearing, bad brakes and front rotor the tires were put on the wrong way. I still accepted the truck with the agreement they would fix it.( note this is the second day after buying the truck).First they tried to give me a loaner car for 30 days until the warranty kicked in that I purchased separate from the dealer power train warranty(which is illegal) which i humbly declined and told them it was their responsibility and they had to fix it under their dealer warranty. So they "agreed" to fix it and put on a USED AXLE that was damaged. now regardless of any warranty they refuse to honor the work that they did. PLEASE NOTE NON OF THESE THINGS SHOULD HAVE PASSED MARYLAND STATE INSPECTIONS IN THE FIRST PLACE. I have a family and kids and bought this truck for work and to have a reliable vehicle. Now I am stuck with a vehicle i paid $15,000 for and don't even feel safe enough to drive my kids in. not to mention the work i have lost dealing with this. On 11/26/2016, I took my Dodge Avenger to the service department of Waldorf Dodge because I had a leak under my car. I dropped it off at 7:30 and I told them that I would wait in the service center for the diagnosis. About 45 minutes later they told me that the problem requires an A/C condenser Trans Cooler, and that it will be approximately 2-3 hours. I told them I'd wait in the service area because I was able to telework from that location. At about noon I got hungry and walked about six blocks toward an eatery; a car sped by me and I realized that it was mine. I contacted the dealership and asked why someone is driving my car. The tech told me they were just making sure everything was in working order. Forty-five minutes later they called to let me know that my car was ready. I walked back to the dealership. The tech did not go over the repairs with me, he directed me to the cashier. I told them that I would not pay until I inspected my vehicle for scratches, noticing none I paid the $619 bill. It got cool later that evening and I turned on the heat and noticed that cold air was blowing out of the passenger side vents, also my windshield wiper pump did not work, and my airbag dash-light flashed intermittently. I called to complain and they told me to bring the car back the next weekday and they may get around to checking it out. I brought it in, they opened the hood stared at the engine for about 5 minutes and told me that they could not possibly have caused the damage. But I could pay to have it repaired, this is outrageous. I contacted Chrysler and filed a former complaint, they told me that they would investigate the complaint however there was nothing more they could do.
