    FRIED 1/4 DARK plate

I ordered the FRIED 1/4 DARK plate with Mac and cheese and fries for pickup. Pickup was not very efficient. I waited a long time. I believe there was miscommunication between with my pickup order. They did make up for it though. The food itself was great. Chicken was fried perfectly, juicy, and flavorful. Mac and cheese and shoestring fries were also yum. I have tried the location in west Nashville prior to this and my experience there was not great. The food was so bland. However it was a completely different food experience at the Murfreesboro location. I would return.

I decided to visit is Waldo's Chicken & Beer today about 12:45 PM. I was hesitant at first because this place was packed. The line was from the register to the door. Despite being very busy, the line moved fairly quickly, and our food did not take very long at all to come out. I ordered the four piece chicken tender box with french fries and slaw, and an order of their onion rings. The tenders were not super huge, but they were definitely packed with flavor. Their signature sauce is definitely a hit. Their french fries were very good, just lots of smaller pieces. The slaw was OK. Now the onion rings on the flipside are huge. An order of six cost about six dollars, but these onion rings are monstrosity. Each onion ring is between three-quarter inch to an inch in height and are about the size of a palm. They definitely pair well with the signature tenders sauce. I will say that all the employees were very friendly. Additionally, this cool little restaurant has a very upbeat ambience. FYI there is indoor and outdoor seating available.

This location deserves 5 stars just for their efficiency in the drive thru. The drive thru moves fast without compromising the integrity of their food and service. My go to now is the chopped chicken salad. The portion size is huge and worth the price. I substitute the dressing for honey mustard instead of the blue cheese vinaigrette it comes with. I'm so glad Waldo's is in my neighborhood now!

New favorite chicken tendies! No seed oils, but instead, beef tallow. The chicken tenders were so tasty and juicy! Their breading on the chicken is also so delicious. I really liked their dipping sauces because I can tell they're made in house. Service was great and everyone was so nice. We especially liked the very sweet lady at the bar! It was fun getting to sample the beers. So tasty! The atmosphere is also fun and family-friendly. I love that this is right up the road from us. We're definitely happy to support a local business that originated in Nashville!

I decided to try Waldo's for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I was hesitant at first only because I'm not a fan of fried food. I was happy to see some healthy and lower calorie options on the menu. I had the rotisserie chicken sandwich. It tasted really good, but the portion of meat was pretty small. They have counter service. After ordering the food came out to our table pretty quickly. It's totally casual and it looked they had a good selection of beer. They also serve cocktails. My friends ordered their macaroni and cheese. I can't tell you how it tasted, but it looked amazing. If you love fried food, go!

    burnt toast

So this place was not what it seems! The only good thing was the chicken, fries was super soggy, along with the potatoes wedges, fried pickles seemed under cooked and burnt Texas toast, overall not impressed and prob won't be back for awhile!

Out server Nardina was excellent. She was friendly and professional. I had the rotisserie chicken and greens. The food is hot and fresh. The patio is spacious. Great place for food. The have happy hour every day.

Stoke Haus Brewing & BBQ is hands down the best BBQ experience of my life!…read more A few helpful tips before you go: parking is a little limited right in front and the entrance is easy to miss. There is additional parking around the side in an open lot that felt safe, was free (at least currently), and was super convenient. Once you arrive, walk around the left side of the building and order inside at the bar. They'll give you a pager, and when your food is ready, you'll head outside to the food truck for pickup. When we first walked in, I have to admit I thought, "What is that smell?" Then I realized it was the giant brewing vats and the smell of the beer-making process. Once I connected the dots, I actually started appreciating it and felt it added to the experience and the authenticity of the brewery. We tried their signature beer, a quality dark ale that paired perfectly with our meal. It had a great depth of flavor and was the perfect complement to the BBQ. For food, we ordered and split: Half order of ribs: incredibly tender with a crispy, flavorful top. They were packed with flavor and came with two dipping sauces. I preferred the BBQ sauce over the Carolina-style sauce, but both were enjoyable. Brussels sprouts: OH MY GOODNESS. I genuinely did not know vegetables could taste this good. Even my veggie-hating partner loved them, which honestly says everything. These were a standout. Mac & cheese: visually, this was beautiful and looked like it was going to be a favorite. Unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the way I expected and wasn't as satisfying as I hoped. THE BRISKET BURGER = THE STAR OF THE SHOW! I have never had a brisket burger before, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but this was phenomenal. The Gouda cheese was incredible, and the combination of the mayo, pickles, and sauce created the perfect balance of flavors. It was everything you want in a burger and more. This is the dish I will be telling everyone about. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was fantastic. They have board games in the back, and it looks like they host karaoke nights, which gives the space a really fun, community-oriented feel. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and helpful. Honestly, there was nothing to complain about. Great food, great beer, great people, and a unique experience. Stoke Haus is a must-visit and if you go, do yourself a favor and order the brisket burger. You won't regret it.

We needed to eat before beginning our 2 hour drive home. I wanted BBQ but not from a chain. Not…read moresomewhere with a shiny sign, rocking chairs on the front porch, a front porch. You know the places I'm talking about. No, I wanted somewhere authentic. In a neighborhood, not near the mall. A place most people would drive past. Stoke Haus is all this and more. Much more. 2pm on Sunday and the parking lot was full. (I'm sure a good handful was for the liquor store next door). The first issue - how do you get in?? There is no front door. There is a tall wooden fence on the side of the building. I peek through the gap between the fence and the wall. A long smoker, a pile of wood, a small food truck (what???). I see a couple leaving the building by a side door. This must be it. There is a sign taped to the door: order at the bar and pick up at the truck. Following instructions, we approach the bar. The couple next to me just got their food. OMG. That looks so good. I ask what they have...brisket, a pulled pork sandwich, German potato salad, cole slaw, fried okra and a little pile of pickles and marinated onions. I don't even look at the menu. "I want that" I tell the bartender. We each order a beer (I forgot to mention that this is a brewery too). We received our beer and a buzzer, found a table and proceeded to play on our phones until the buzzer went off. My husband went outside to the food truck and came in with a metal tray nearly overflowing with food. We didn't waste a second digging in. The brisket was incredibly tender with a most amazing bark. A little too fatty, even for brisket, but still a "must order". The sandwich was absolutely stuffed with tender, juicy pulled pork. Perfection. The sides, especially the potato salad were excellent (though the okra wasn't made from scratch, it was still worthy). The pickles? That final little "oomph". Our meal wasn't just a home run, it was a grand slam! I've written a lot of reviews. I've written a lot of 5 star reviews. I'd love to be able to give Stoke Haus 10 stars. This is definitely a don't miss!!

Alas, our craft beer knowledge had led us to M.L Rose Neighborhood Pub in Mt. Juliet for a Sunday afternoon of drinks and grub. We were greeted kindly upon entry and sat at a high top table. Even with the pouring rain, it didn't stop locals from going out to eat; this place was busy! The restaurant is decorated with celebrities, movie and band posters, and there are TVs all around the place. It's moderately loud but it's a fun place to sit and chat. Our waitress was fantastic and gave me time to choose my flight of beer as well as putting in our order quickly. My husband had the Papi Breakfast Burrito, I had The Belgian with upgraded sweet potato fries, and we shared the Nashville Hot Cheese Curds. Everything was delicious and I especially loved the sauces my burger came with. No complaints here! The beer was cold and smooth, the food was flavorful, and the service was quick and friendly.
