As with most of you who own multiple dogs, I winced at what I knew was under all that snow. Glancing over the low-lying area, I also saw a couple of inches of water. Man, it was gonna be ugly. I love my pets and it's not like I'm adverse to clean up work but this was going to take a LONG TIME. Seems to me I could hire someone to do this for me at a fair price. Turns out, I was right. Did a quick google search and wisconsinpoopcleanup.com was #1 on the list. The website was colorful, informative and well-designed. Clicked on the 'Contact Us' link, entered my info and mere minutes later I received a reply. Lori Mendelsohn Thomas (no relation) immediately addressed my request for information via email. We worked out details over the next 24 hours continuing our email dialog and less than 48 hours after I first googled the website, our yard was cleaned, waste carefully bagged and placed exactly as instructed. You just don't see that kind of turn-around time these days. Very awesome. Freddy was our 'Scooper' guy. Lori said that Freddy didn't usually travel as far West as Union Grove as UG is out of their designated boundary. But she also said she'd ask him if he was willing. This to me means that she respects her staff enough to give them the option. That says a lot. Freddy agreed to make the trip. I cannot express what a relief it was to come home to a clean yard. I won't get into details about what our dogs were trailing into the house but suffice it to say - it was well worth the price to stop that, well, dead in its tracks as it were. Freddy did an excellent job. Period. I cannot imaging doing this for a living, but obviously Freddy has a professionalism to his work ethic and I bet Lori is glad he's on her team. I never met you Freddy, but you ROCK. About the price. I don't know how long it took Freddy to do what he did, but somehow Lori has managed to make fair what she charges for a job well done and everyone is satisfied. I don't know what the going rate is supposed to be, and quite frankly I don't care. I'm very, very pleased with Lori, our 'Scooper' Freddy and have no desire to vacillate from a successfully rendered service. By the way? Don't be a pooper leave a tip for your 'Scooper'. So, 5 stars! The good people here filled the prescription quickly and I was able to pick up immediately. This pet pharmacy compounds their own medications and can make them in a variety of forms (liquid, pill) and add flavors to make administering much easier for pet owners. Sasha was recently diagnosed with TCC (transitional cell carcinoma) and must have a special prescription that had filled here. I am confident with the staff's knowledge and resources, that they will continue to provide excellent service for as long as I need to obtain my peanut's special medicine. When a vet calls/faxes in a prescription, a staff member will call first to verify and inform you of the price. I am unaware of what market prices are for the medications I have gotten filled, but I do know that Clavomax was MUCH cheaper here than through the vet office (like 1/3 or less the cost). The only issue I have encountered is the hours - they are only open 10a-5:30pm Monday through Thursday, and Friday until 4pm. With my work schedule, it can be difficult getting there before they close to pick up my pup's Rx. Of course, my baby comes 1st so I will do what it takes to get there!
