The amount of bird poop that is in front of this Walgreens is insane. It's not just a few drops here and there, it covers the whole front of the building and the walkway. I've never seen anything like it. They must have about 15 pigeons living up Above the entrance. They really need to do something about it, it's disgusting. The pharmacist is abusive and hostile. Never in my 50 yrs have I been berated and yelled at and treated so poorly while visiting a business I am paying for a service. Went in for a simple vaccination. The pharmacist made a huge scene and was shouting and berating me for not sitting and waiting on him while he was serving the person before me. Claimed he had been searching for me- and was furious. The lady behind me said- eeks, guess I better sit down. Then when he called me in to give me the shot he continued to chastise and berate me in the closed room. Said he will not give me my shot if he has to look for me again and would not stop he assault of me and continued ranting at me even when I said -you have made your point please quit talking to me like this. He gave me the shot with no warning and then flung open the door to dismiss me without giving me time to put my sweater back on. It was horrifying. If they had not already processed the $200 payment thru my insurance, I would have walked out and never looked back. I was not wandering the aisles, I literally went to pick a single product off the shelf and was within war shot of the pharmacy area and he was with another client when I stepped over to get the product. The rage he had and the continued ranting -you would think I had been Christmas's shopping all over and not immediately available or that I had been holding up other appointments- but they were still checking in the person behind me and had not finished when I came back. No one was waiting for me, just the monster of a pharmacist. Bet he would never have treated another man that way and definitely would not have gotten away with that shit in front of my husband. Bad form Walgreens Lake Tapps. What is the purpose of making an appointment to get your Covid shot? If they're going to give away the Covid shots to walk in customers? We've had this appointment for over a week, and today went in there and were notified that they didn't have any left due to the walk ins. Our daughters in high school and we want to get the shots on the weekend, just in case there's any side effects. This Walgreens just keeps getting worse, and is very poorly organized and managed. I spoke with a manager who couldn't give me any answers when I asked about if making appointments reserved shots and if I made another appointment if there would be vaccines left or if they aren't able to guarantee shots. I understand they are running out of vaccines but if you make an appointment shouldn't they set side vaccines for reservations? Guess we are gonna go back to Rite Aid. read more

Very unorganized pharmacy, I have waited on hold for an hours and a half on numerous occasions just to have the phone hung up on by the workers. They often run out of medications & instead of notifying you, they just don't fill the medication. Horrible service. The Walgreens store is great. Very friendly staff and it pains me to leave a bad review, but the pharmacy is CRAP! More than one occasion they didn't have my prescription and I had to wait until they ordered more medication, which was an additional two days. I tried to preempt this by calling ahead, but they refused to order it until it was time for a refill and then they didn't have any in stock for the second time. Furthermore I was at the pharmacy behind another car and it was 2 min before the lunch break with no one behind me - they closed the window on me and were so rude! Despite being there before they closed! This location's pharmacy is beyond frustrating. Too many issues here and now I'll be switching my pharmacy. It's a shame, again, the Walgreens staff inside is so nice which is why I gave it more than 1 star. read more

the worst place I've ever dealt with for prescription pick up for my girlfriend the guy here tells her to come pick it up so she does only to have her then say sorry we only have one pill but that should be good for you first of all he could've told us on the phone before she drives a half hour in pain to pick it up then how is he to say what her pain is? I agree with the other negative reviews regarding the pharmacy. Service is non existent. Someone needs to train reps in customer service. Rude, slow and uncaring. We spend several thousand dollars a month on prescriptions and they act like they are doing us a favor just speaking to us. My 90 year old mom called Ted the manager at the Washington Lake Tapps Walgreens to see if there was anyway she could order items, pay by phone and pick them up without going into the store because of the Corona Virus situation. He said he could get it ready within minutes. She drove up and Ted personally brought the items out to the car when she arrived. My mom was very grateful as I was also. I'll add to the chorus about the absolutely terrible customer service at the pharmacy. They have repeatedly refused to refill prescriptions for us saying we don't have insurance coverage. This is despite the fact that I've uploaded our new card into the app and showed it to them in person. Apparently, they can't process the idea that we may have different coverage under Premera. In other words, we have a new active premera plan and an old inactive premera plan and the tech can't figure out how to select the new one in the system. We have taken a prescription that Walgreens refused to fill to the Haggen pharmacy on the same day and had it filled under the insurance that Walgreens told us wouldn't cover the prescription. They also regularly send texts about delays or unfillable prescriptions and ask you to call, but they don't answer the phone. I've now been on hold for 30 minutes waiting for someone to pick up the phone. For the first 20 or so of those minutes the system told me that there was 1 person ahead of me. I called because I got a text requesting that I call. I've also sat in line for 10-15 minutes when no one else was in line. To make matters worse, several staff members are incredibly rude and dismissive. I know that finding staff is tough these days, but going to this Walgreens pharmacy offers the type of customer service you'd expect from the Soviet Union - miserable, unfriendly, and acting as if they are somehow doing you a favor by filling your prescription. I can't believe I'm leaving a review for Walgreens, but this location is horrible! Made a quick stop here before heading home because it was convenient. I was waiting at the check out stand for awhile before the cashier even noticed I was there. She was pretending to organize behind the counter. When she finally realized I was standing there, I walked up to the counter. She didn't even acknowledge me. No hi, no bye. She didn't even look at me. Awkward. I've been coming to this Walgreens for 15 years and usually love it. I'm taking all my meds somewhere else. I was in the ER last night and they sent over prescriptions for me to take today. Walgreens did not fill them all day and now the pharmacist (DANIEL CHO) flatly refuses to fill then because he is "too busy." Apparently there are a lot of vaccine appointments. This is an emergency situation. If I don't get the meds, I have to go back to the ER. I've never in my life had a pharmacy refuse to fill medication. They don't close for 3 more hours. The manager of the store asked him to do it, too but he can't force him to fill it. So, I'm sending all my medication to a different pharmacy now. I called another Walgreens and they were shocked. They are filling it now for me and I have to drive across town to get it. I just don't understand why this pharmacist doesn't care about patients. read more

Trying to get my 4 yr old tamiflu and Daniel Cho (pharmacist) flat out denied filling his prescription because my son has Medicaid insurance. I asked to pay cash and he refused to do so , even tho this sane location filled a prescription a few weeks prior. I asked to speak to somebody else and he refused, told me he was the pharmacist and said "what do u think that's gonna do to change anything ? iI changed from cvs to Walgreens after moving to this area and wish I hadn't changed from CVS. They have messed up prescriptions for me and my daughter. Some of the staff are rude. The pharmacist argues with you as if you are a drug addict after my doctor sent in the prescription Every timeI try to fill a prescription it makes me nervous it won't be handled. Fortunately my prescriptions are not needed for life threatening conditions. The pharmacy staff are either understaffed and over worked and need some training in customer service. I never had this problem at CVS. I am seriously considering changing back to CVS in Renton. The drive wil be worth it. read more

This is your run of the mill Walgreeens. They have a large variety of items usually a decent seasonal section as well. My thumbs up for them comes from customer service. I needed something for baking and a worker was in the area, asked if she could help me find something, I said I looked and it wasn't there. Another worker overheard our conversation and said she saw that in the back. They were able to find what I was looking for and saved me a second stop at the grocery store. This is by far the worst Walgreens that I've ever been to. I've been here two times within 6 months and definitely regretted it. You wouldn't think that reviewing a convenience store would be necessary but my god the customer service just isn't there. Each time I've gone in they've had misdated sale tags and refuse adjust the price as necessary. Even when telling them the original price is fine and advising changing sale tags for future problems, I get a "yup we're working on it" well jesus, if you move a little faster than a sloth you wouldn't have these issues. This location only has incompetent people working here! I've had the same insurance for over 5 years and I've been paying out of pocket this whole time and didn't realize it until today after speaking with my insurance company. I don't know what individual didn't take the time to input my information correctly but they've been costing me money for over 5 years!!!!! They then try to print me out what I've gotten prescribed over the past year to recoup some money and I specifically ask if it's for all Walgreens location, which the young brunette girl with glasses responds yes. We use this as our primary pharmacy but recently the customer service has been horrific. It was recommended that my wife get the shingles vaccine to prepare for a different medication she takes for her RA. She needed the flu vaccine too. No big deal, we can get both knocked out at the same time. Make appointment for both after being told she needed a prescription for the shingles vaccine since she's not in the age range for it. No problem, contact the doctor and the prescription is requested. Go in to receive said vaccines today and were told "we can't give you the vaccine because you're not old enough. But we can give it to you over the counter and you can go to your doc to have it administered." Okay sounds good. Jab us with the flu shots and send us on our way with vaccine in hand to primary care doc for administration. After the flu shot "well so your insurance doesn't cover the shingles vaccine because your not in the correct age range. SMDH!! We have now been bounced around like ping pong balls between primary care doc and pharmacy. I understand that there are rules that need to be followed but the communication system is broken. This information could have been shared from the beginning so plans to accommodate could have been made but only got one piece of critical information each step along the way. I do not trust that they have my best interests or health in mind. Stick to filling prescriptions since you are terrible at the rest of it! We will take our business elsewhere whenever possible. read more

I really don't even like giving this location one star, but seems I have to. The customer service at this location has ALWAYS BEEN HORRIBLE. Whether it was waiting by the Photo department for at least one person to acknowledge me standing there, or to the more recent Pharmacy issues. For the past 4 months the Pharmacy has continued to get the pricing wrong on my Husband's Rx. Last night he spent over an hour trying to find a resolution and ended up leaving without one. No one knew how to resolve the issue, and no one seemed to know what to do. The phone was ringing off the hook, which they ignored. I drove through the drive thru today, was ignored for over 5mins by the employee standing by the window. When she finally did help me, it was short and not to sweet. Someone really needs to come in and teach this staff how to give great customer service. Acknowledge your customers, even during busy times. Help them resolve their issues, don't let them leave upset after spending far too long waiting for you to help them in the first place. I'm extremely disappointed and will not be back. read more
