I ordered a print online via the app, which was easy and convenient. However, when I saw my photo I realized I could've just done it myself at home and gotten the same result. This also was my first time picking up a print and I felt like the woman behind the counter was annoyed with me the entire transaction. I just started off by saying I had an order under my name... I felt the entire time I had to guess what she needed to know. When she finally started to ask me questions- which were what size photo I ordered and THEN my last name... (which I dont understand why she didn't just start off with that) I sensed her annoyance as she flipped her hand out while asking me the latter, but I learned it might have been about another employee. She then laid my receipt down and said nothing (just like she greeted me- with silence). I just grabbed my things and went without saying thank you. I almost felt like it wouldn't be welcomed, let alone reciprocated. I just dont know why something so simple to handle with decent customer service had to feel tense and trying. I only point this out since I also work in customer service and I observed her with others having a much more welcoming attitude. All in all a waste of time. read more

These folks filled an antibiotic for our sick child on Christmas night, politely and swiftly. They were kind and efficient, understanding that we had a child who was in pain with an earache. This is the worst pharmacy that I have ever been to. There is ALWAYS a huge line. They have a drop off window, but you can't use it so if you need to drop off a script....you better get your happy ass in that 30 min line. In a hurry and need to grab your meds while running errands? Easy, just pack a lunch and get your ass in line. Tech's are at least mildly pleasant but every pharmacist I've spoken with there doesn't give a damn about you or how long the line is. Most of the time I can't even understand them. read more

This is the absolute WORST pharmacy ever! Doc called in prescription for my husband on a Monday morning. When we picked up up they only had a few of the pills he needed on hand and said we could pick up the rest the next day. They called us to say it was ready and when we got there it was not. Then the following day we went to pick up and they couldn't release it to him because of some glitch in their system. They said they would call when their system was back up. 2 days later and we finally get a call saying that they have had my husbands meds "sitting there waiting to be picked up for days." Once we got there the line was ridiculously slow! I've never had so many issues with a pharmacy. read more

This the rudest,slowest pharmacy ever. Prescriptions are never ready when they say they will be. I've had scripts called in a day in advance and they don't even start filling it until you walk in and stand at the counter for 10 minutes. Calling them is even more ridiculous. Every time I deal with this pharmacy I think I'm dealing with a bunch of second graders. The wait is at least 20 minutes, even if your prescription has been called in hours before. I ask every time if they are under staffed and they always say "not today". Then they definitely need to get some faster, more literate, more efficient techs because the ones they currently have are ridiculous. I have only used this pharmacy because of its proximity to my home, however, today was the last straw. GOODBYE WALGREENS, HELLO CVS!!! And I'll be spreading the word. read more

Rude employees &crappy service! They did not offer a consult with the pharmacist. I had to ask for it &for syringes to give my daughter the medications prescribed. They told me my prescriptions would be ready by 3 and I had to go sit and wait 45 mins. Definitely not going there anymore it was way to busy. read more

I personally have not once had a problem with the pharmacy techs except there's always new faces which I don't like. It's great can't complain. Love the store too but they don't have a great selection on some items. Would I recommend this place. Yes of course. But I kinda want to be greedy and not tell anyone. Worst experience ever. The only pharmacy on the west side of town 24 hours. They told me 30 mins only to have me wait for an hour and 20 mins to tell me the item was an over the counter drug. Keep in mind I have my daughter out at night until 9:45 on a Sunday. There was also 10 other customers there complaining and super mad. One guy they told 10 mins on an order that was called in hours before was still waiting after I left. Everyone there was irate with the customer service...never again! Absolute worst pharmacy! Been here several times in the last couple weeks for medicine for sick kids. It takes over 45 minutes each time just to drop off the prescription. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism from the entire pharmacy staff including the pharmacist. I had a prescription for a pain medication due to an upcoming knee surgery i will be undergoing...this pharmacy took 45 mins to even answer the phone, then once answered, the pharmacist grilled me like a criminal about the last date i filled a script for main meds and what was the reason i was taking them for...made me feel very uncomfortable...then took my name and number said i would be called in 10 mins to answer my original question on whether they had the medication in stock...i was NEVER called back! I ended up driving 15 miles across town to this pharmacy to get answers and they told me they were closing in 10 mins....even though they are clearly advertised as a 24 hr pharmacy! I will NEVER do business with these people as long as i can help it! read more

The Walgreens store at Hageman and Calloway in Bakersfield Ca, has THE WORST pharmacy!! My husband went to pick up his refill at their drive-through, and sat there for 15 minutes, because the car at the window, never left. He decided to go inside instead, and there were 5 people waiting in line ahead of him there. He said there was only 2 people there, the pharmacist, and one girl working the window and counter. You'd think a pharmacy that is THAT busy all the time, would hire more help. He was so mad, that he came home and made a 2nd trip there, wasting gas and time. This isn't the first time this has happened, that's why I decided to speak up about it. Other times, they'd tell us we could pick up our RX at a certain time, and when we'd go 2 or 3 hours later than they said, when we showed up, it wouldn't be ready, and yet again, they'd tell us to come back later. The store itself is clean, and nice inside...but the pharmacy sucks!! read more

There is one cashier who is very kind to everyone. She has an accent and is asian. But today I had a very discomforting experience with one of the managers. She has blonde, boy-cut hair. Once I stepped into the store she whispered to her cashier "she uses coupons." And when I was at the register there was a problem with my coupon scanning so when she was called over head she was nodding her head and laughing/smirking with her cashier. I'm not stupid! I'm not a shelf clearer. I only used 4 coupons. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING WHEN SHE IS THERE! Esp if you're a couponer trying to buy things to DONATE. It was very rude and out of all the people I've met at this store, she is without a doubt RUDE! read more

I would leave zero stars for the pharmacy if it were an option. They are an absolute joke. I had my prescription sent electronically from my doctors office. An hour and a half later, they had filled 3 out of 4 medications and proceeded to make me wait another 45 minutes before disclosing they had been back ordered for over a month on my final medication. I was told to call another pharmacy the following day (as Walgreens is one of the few 24 hour pharmacies & it was late on a Sunday night) and have my prescription sent over. I called Walgreens 8 times and was hung up on 4 of those times and was never able to reach anyone today. I had the new pharmacy call Walgreens and they told them that they had no waiting prescriptions to be filled and no file of me at all when they literally filled part of my full prescription order LAST NIGHT. How exactly does one "lose" a prescription when it's been sent electronically?! If you have a serious illness and genuinely need your medication I would NEVER recommend this pharmacy. read more

Almost two hours to get my prescription. That was AFTER I dropped it off at 5 p.m.. I was told to come back at 6:30 p.m. I did. Was there until 8:10 p.m. They have five cash register stations and two people working them. Absolutely ridiculous. Thank you Walgreens for making my raging ear infection even worse. read more

Only 24 hour pharmacy in town, great after your ER visit lasts hours and you need to fill your rx

After waiting at urgent care for 2 1/2 hours and dropping off my RX, stood in line for 45 minutes just to drop off. I was told it would be 1 1/2 hours to pick up. At 2 1/2 hours, when I called, they said it was not ready. Well I went in and low and behold it WAS ready at the 1 1/2 hour mark as showed on the paper attached to the RX bag but they failed to enter into their system so I waited an extra 1 1/2 hours while peeing blood. Watch out if you're using a debit card! I purchased some items and I put in my debit card. They said that it didn't go through. I tried two more times and each time I was erroneously told that it didn't go through. I then pulled out my Visa and swiped that. This time it went through. Later on in the day I looked up my balance in my checking account, which was tied to my debit card. I was astonished to find that I was charged THREE times on my debit card and ONE time on my credit card - a total of FOUR transactions!!! I called my bank and was told to talk to Walgreens, as it was their mistake. The assistant manager was less than helpful. He kept saying that the excess transactions would "most likely fall off my account in 72 hours". He tried to pull a guilt trip on me by saying that he "called the manager at home while he was having dinner with his family." Who cares? My $43 purchase has now cost me $172, and I have to wait for them to fix their mistake. They should have immediately refunded me three times. read more

Thus guy needs to be fired, REPORT HIM, he was tall, skinny and Lanky, a white male, wore glasses, had black short hair, Age range guestimation-early 30's to early 40's. Extremely rude because he found a cosmetic wrapper seal under a blanket I picked up to look under to see the posted pricing on the shelf. After I looked at the blanket I then moved on to another aisle where I was looking at acne products and about three minutes into me being that I am in that aisle he Sprint it up to me and held up a rapper and said what is this and I was like excuse me I don't know and he was like well you put it there you put it where you were last you put it under the blanket that you were looking at and the other day and I said no excuse me sir I have everything in my hands that I have looked at or that I picked up to buy and he was like well this is part of a Cosmetics rapper and you were in cosmetics and I was like yeah you want to see all the things that I was in cosmetics for and I should have the nail polish that I had and I showed him the two mascaras that I had I said those all have the tags on them and he just kept staring at me and I was like look sir I don't even have my purse with me I was like I'm holding all of this stuff with me because I also had several other items in my arms I was like I'm carrying this with me because of the fact that you guys don't have any handheld baskets so I didn't want to have to push your cart around and I was like all I have in my pocket is my money and my cell phone and my keys that's it I was like if you want to get a female employee of yours to check me you can do that I'm perfectly fine with that because I am not stealing anything I did not steal anything so I'm really tired of you accusing me when I didn't do anything wrong and he was just like I know you did I saw you did it and I was like okay if you saw me do it I was like it then call the police and see and see what they do I was like because you did not see me do anything I was not carrying anything extra when I went to the restroom I actually went up to the front desk and I left all my products that I was going to buy at the front desk so I could go into the restroom so I didn't take them into the restroom with me and then when I came out of the restroom I went up to the front desk are all of my stuff again and continue shopping I was like so I don't appreciate being accused and he was like alright well you can go now continue to keep shopping like you were and I was like okay am I allowed to you now can I go and get what I was going to get and you just didn't answer me and I was like so is that a yes can I go get what I was here to get it he was like yes you can go and that was the end of that. read more

This is the worst pharmacy to pick up prescriptions. You might die waiting for your medication. Avoid this place at all costs. The Pharmacist did nothing. His name was Yehia. The nice woman who was ringing everyone up was doing EVERYTHING. Including getting the medication, mixing the medication and waiting on all of us. He is to be avoided at all costs. The problem is this seems to be the only place around that is open at night. read more

My grandmother needed diabetes testing supplies and this Walgreens had messed up her prescription every time she has tried to have it filled. The third time we received the wrong replacement lancets we went in to have it taken care of. The pharmacy staff was incredibly rude and treated her as if her request for the proper materials for her testing were just a scam. While we were waiting I asked if I could get the restroom code after discovering a keypad on the public restroom. I was treated as a criminal and was told someone would come let me in as they called code orange on the loudspeaker. I waited by the bathroom for at least 15 min and no one showed up. I want back to the pharmacy to let them know the bathroom was in need emergency status and they were rude and again called a code orange. I decided to warn people who are on Medicare and forced to come to this Walgreens that they will not be treated equally...in fact they will be treated as an imposition and with suspicion. Terrible customer service and terrible that some have no choice due to their insurance to be treated as lesser human beings. read more
