The drive through pharmacy was an absolute life saver last night. I had just left the urgent care clinic still in quite a bit of pain but with prescriptions in hand. I was there for severe hip pain - it hurt to bend at the hip to sit down or to unbend the hip to stand up. It was a process just getting me into the car at the clinic, and I really wasn't relishing having to get out of the car to pick up the prescriptions. A friend was driving me because I was already so doped up I couldn't drive. I called the pharmacy I usually frequent and they were already closed for the night. My driver suggested Walgreens, and boy am I glad she did! This Walgreens is conveniently located on the Northeast corner of Calloway and Hageman in the parking lot of the Save Mart right next to the Taco Bell and the Mimotto. They are open 24 hours a day - INCLUDING their pharmacy! That's great news for anyone who has been to a urgent care facility or hospital emergency room at an odd hour and is looking to get a prescription filled. We pulled up to the drive through pharmacy and I handed them my prescription, my insurance card, and my drivers license. After being quizzed about drug allergies and other medications I was currently on, we were told it would be a 20 minute wait to get the prescription filled. That was just the time I needed to go through the Mimotto drive through and get some food. When we came back, the actual pharmacist gave us the medication and offered to explain each of the medications to me. I got all of the service one would expect from a regular pharmacy, all without having to get out of the car. I imagine this would be especially convenient for those who are ill and don't want to spread germs, or those with small children who would not have to spend all the time unbuckling them from their car seats and buckling them back up again! Not having to get out of the car to get my prescription was a Godsend last night and saved me a lot of pain and hassle! read more

This pharmacy needs to update their drive thru. Every time I go there which can be random times I sit in the drive thru trying to get someone's attention. I usually have to end up calling but there are times I run there quickly and don't grab my phone. They don't pay attention to who they have in their drive they. Once you're speaking to someone it's a battle to hear and for them to hear what they're saying I can't imagine for the elders how hard this is. read more

Don't come here if you need a vaccination. I scheduled my vaccination for 8:30 am just to be greeted by a mean old white lady saying they don't have a pharmacist till 9am. Then why allow customers to schedule for pharmaceutical needs before you even have a pharmacist??? I was confused so I tried explaining to the rude old lady and she cut me off and wasn't even listening, she looked like a manager too so, pretty sad that's what management is like. I would give it a 0 star if I could. I have dealt with so many issues at this walgreens that I can't believe they are still functioning. Because it's a pharmacy, I don't see this place going nowhere. The staff are so unprofessional and unhelpful and they tell you one thing and do another and also they seems to hire very illiterate people to work in their pharmacy dept. The issues I've had are simple but they make it harder than it is. There was this one incident a couple months ago that a staff member hung up on me while I was talking and I told the store mgr about it and he said he will have a talk with the person. I wanted to talk a manager from the pharmacy dept as well and the store mgr said he would forward the message and dept mgr from the pharmacy dept will call me asap....NOPE! No one ever called me but when I have called the pharmacy since then, I haven't heard this person answer the phone so I don't know if they got fired the person or not. Anyway, if you have an option to go to another walgreens or another pharmacy altogether, do it! Especially if you are going to have to get several prescriptions or refills on an on-going basis. Just do yourself a favor and go to another place. You will save yourself so much stress,heartache, and time. read more

Its a typical Walgreens but gets the extra points for a having a 24 hour pharmacy. All Walgreens are the same when it comes to the selection of As Seen on TV junk and their abundant selection of candy. Any season works for this Walgreens with their great selection of seasonal decorations or that last minute drink or snack need. 5 Stars here for being close to home and everyone that works there when I have gone in has been very pleasant. read more

I went here for the 24- hour pharmacy. There was a huge line, but it was on Sunday night and they are the ONLY pharmacy that's open! The staff was helpful and got the meds ready quickly. Great experience here :) read more

The true gem of this place is Evelyn, who is the only reason this place gets two stars. Evelyn deserves five, because she is the biggest and most kind sweetheart. Words can't express the sort of genuine KINDNESS that radiates off of her tiny frame. She's always there on holidays and everything else, and if you know her then you know she is the best thing in this place. The real issue is that the pharmacy sucks. Today I was put on hold for an hour, finally got to talk to somebody, and then was hung up on. When I went in they couldn't help me. They had somehow managed to lose record of a prescription that had been called in, couldn't answer any questions we had, and were short and rude. On the plus side they're 24 hours and close to the house. If you see sweet Evelyn in cosmetics make sure to tell her to have an incredible day. :) read more

Might want to pack a couple of meals if you are wanting your prescription after 9:00pm. 2 times I've gone here after this time and both times has to wait over an hour and half. They all stand around and do nothing in the pharmacy. If rite aid was 24 hour would go there every time hands down. read more

Having to deal with this pharmacy is almost worth moving again back to the other side of town. I have never had so much trouble getting my medication, it is absolutely insane. I went to Walgreens this morning to see if they could fix a photo album cover that my puppy destroyed. I was really upset .. Because the photo album belongs to my daughter, and it detailed special moments she shared with her father. her dad passed away four years ago .. so it was really important for me to have it fix. The Walgreens staff were amazing , not only were they able to replace the cover, the manager told me there would be no charge. Honestly I couldn't believe it, I would have paid several times the amount to have it fix. Some memories are irreplaceable, some people are unforgettable- and some companies (Walgreens) are in tune with its community needs.. Horrible customer service. I had a really bad ear infection around 10pm and went to the doctor. The doctor sent my prescription to the walgreens on hageman because it was the only one open 24hr. I called and they were so rude. told me that "they don't check status of prescription in the middle of the night" read more

They are liars! Call for an item which they said was in stock and when I got there they told me it was not in stock.

For a 24 hr pharmacy they are under staffed and slow. They also are terrible at answering phones. I was waiting to speak to some one in pharmacy and when they finally picked up, they hung up on me. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. Seriously the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. Was in line for 30 minutes with the line at a stand still with 3 people working behind the counter. They had 2 people working on someone in the drive-thru and 1 person just standing there. Ended up leaving without my prescription because I was too annoyed to wait there any longer without them even acknowledging that there was anyone waiting in line. They at least could have told us "Sorry for the wait, we'll be with you in just a minute." Overall- very poor customer service. read more

So many red flags on this business. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY !!! -On 2 occasions ( one should of been enough ). Incorrect medication filled. - Another time, I had 3 medications on one prescription order. This Pharmacy only filled 2 of them. My bad, I didn't notice until the next day. Called doctor, they confirmed on their duplicate prescription that I should have been given 3 medications, not 2. Went back to pharmacy and they denied any wrong doing. I asked to see copy of prescription from previous day. After 20-30 minutes waiting, they said they couldn't find it ?? - Waits at this pharmacy are excessive. Even after dropping off prescriptions earlier in day for pick up later. Average time to just pick up filled order was 20-30 minutes. - Pulled in drive thru approx. 3am. On prescription I dropped off prior afternoon. Nobody came to window. Hit call buttom, knocked on window, nothing. NO OTHER CARS IN DRIVE THRU. Inside part of store closed. Finally called on telephone. A woman with a heavy asian accent told me she was very busy and cannot help me right now ? I pleaded with her as I needed that medicine as I was leaving town. 20 minutes later I got the order. Currently here because our Walgreens did not have appointments available for vacations this store has seven people here being there counter, vaccine line and a pick up birth very long lines. At least 17 people waiting . While the pharmacist is visiting and taking to friend and the slowest moving I've seen!!! The Walgreens in gosford is out store three employees in and out in no time! This pharmacy is absolutely the worst. Do not go here in middle of the night in the drive thru. It's exactly like going to the emergency room. Takes hours of waiting with no one concerned about your time. Went here around midnight to get an emergency prescription filled for my husband. The doctor had advised taking the prescription only if symptoms got worse. Knew this was a 24 hour pharmacy, so decided to get it filled here rather than wait until the morning. When we arrived, there were 3 cars ahead of us, so figured maybe 30 mins tops. That 30 min expectation turned into over two hours! How insane is that? Normally, drive thru businesses ask customers to pull off to the side so they can help the next customer waiting if their order is not ready. This happens at other pharmacies and even fast food chains. This pharmacy staff was obviously not concerned about their customers wait times but more about reducing their workload. Would have left and gone to our regular pharmacy the next morning, but figured waited so long already and before we knew it minutes turned into two hours. Should have gone inside instead but thought most businesses address their drive thru customers with faster service. Not the case here. Avoid this pharmacy after hours! You're better off waiting until the next morning. read more

Sometimes they have good online photo deals but this store prints bad picture quality. This is the second time, and they looked like I printed them at home. You also have to double check your pictures before printing them if they are cropped correctly. I think that was my mistake by not checking. They are horribly cropped, I've never had that problem before at my previous store. read more

This is 100% directed only at the pharmacy. Would give zero stars if I could. I have never gone to this Walgreens and not had there be an issue. The employees in the pharmacy work so slow and the line is always at least a 30 minute wait. When I have time to binge watch a show during the pickup line, there's a problem. Every time I go they ask if I want my medications on auto refill, they call me and ask if I want them on auto refill, the app asks me if I want them on auto refill, I say yes to ALL of these. Yet somehow my medications never auto refill?! The pharmacists are always rude and inconsiderate. A few months ago I was in line and a woman was complaining because she had to take work off to get her moms medication because her mom can not pick them up for herself and the pharmacy hours are no longer 24hrs (which was the only benefit of coming here). She had an issue because walgreens had called and said the medications were ready the day before so her mother took an Uber to Walgreens because it was an urgent medication. When she got there they were not ready. So after this lady takes off work the next day, drives down to Walgreens, and waits the usual 30-45 mins, the pharmacists tells her that her medication has been restocked and since it was close to closing they would have to wait until the next day. Normally I wouldn't judge a business off of hearing someone else's experience but after my MANY terrible experiences here and then hearing that story, it's just been enough. read more

Customer service was awful. I went to the pharmacy after browsing myself and not being able to find the supplement I was looking for. I asked the woman at the counter if they had it (online site said they did) and she said "oh I don't know let me call customer service I don't even know what this is..." My first thought was why is she even working in the pharmacy... So then after 10minutes my husband asks the pharmacist herself, who gave the same answer and the other chinned in "oh they haven't came I'll ring them again.." I don't know how the actual pharmacist was unsure of this and they thought some random clerk would have any knowledge of something a pharmacist should. Well after waiting another 10minutes I left, never saw anyone coming on my way out. I would hope that if they have a pharmacist like that there, that she isn't giving anyone any medicinal tips! read more

I'm from out of town. Stuck because of the mudslide on the 5 South. I only brought enough BP med for the three days I was supposed to be away ( I will always pack extra from now on) I walked in to this Walgreens. I gave it three stars simply for the fact that I like the store itself. It's very clean and the staff is always very nice and helpful. If I had to rate the pharmacy itself, don't even waste your time. I've noticed a trend with most Walgreens across the U.S and they're all severely understaffed. The wait to pick up a prescription is almost always at least 45 minutes to an hour. And if you want to call in, it's at least a 15+ minute wait on the phone. It's not the staffs fault, it's corporate. They need to provide more than one tech, even after hours. read more

If we need a prescription, then this is the pharmacy we go to get it filled. The staff has always had my prescription ready for pick up with no delays. The pharmacists have all been kind and informative. Whether I go in the store or use the drive thru, the customer service has been kind, quick, and efficient. As for the store itself, we will purchase other products once in awhile. For the most part, the products here can be found elsewhere at lower prices. The store is clean and organized. read more

I went to urgent care on 4/13/19 at approximately 5:30pm. I got out of urgent care at 6:45pm with a prescription to take to a pharmacy. Rite aid was closed (that's where I usually go), so I had no choice but to take it to this Walgreens location. I waited for 10 mins in the drive-thru line (being considerate that what I had was contagious and did not want to go inside the store otherwise I would have). I handed the lady my prescription, insurance card, and ID. She asked to confirm my address, DOB, and phone where they could contact me once medicine was ready. It is now 11:33pm. I have not received a text stating it's ready. Last I checked it was "processing." I am feeling extremely ill and I am parenting waiting, but I can only wait so much longer before I ask what the flip is taking so long!!?? read more

I have been frequenting this location for about five years now. This is one of the few pharmacies in town that is 24 hours, which is extremely convenient when you have two kiddos. The store itself is always immaculate. I have never came in here and seen the store dirty or disorganized at all. Everything is always in the correct place and the employees are always more than willing to help you find something. The pharmacy is great as well. I love that they have a drive thru option, especially for those late night trips. I have never had to wait very long for my prescriptions, but in the rare case that it is going to take a while, they let you know ahead of time. I also love the fact that they have their nifty Walgreens app. Being able to track my prescriptions and see when they are ready and how much they are is a lifesaver. So impressed with this location and I hope they never change. read more

Two issues in one visit. First, the poor guy ahead of me was skipped after waiting 10 to 15 minutes and he drove off in anger.. I've actually had the same thing happen to me as well so that isn't a one time occurrence and when I pulled up, I noticed it was in fact the same older gentleman that had done to me in the past. I pulled into his place and yup, he had been skipped, I waited another 10 minutes or so then I was told that I needed to wait for the pharmacist to finish her break because my prescription required that I speak to them first, that's fine, I've had that in the past.. Except 7 minutes go by and I was asked to confirm my address and I was told the instructions are detailed enough to call if I had any questions, with no apology for the random additional wait that apparently didn't need to happen. I think the older gentleman just can't handle the drive through chaos. It's unfortunate because the patients suffer for it. read more

Have been going to this pharmacies for years until my insurance switched and they did not take my new insurance. One of their pharmacy techs told me that I could have my prescription transferred but when I tried to all of a sudden my prescription disappeared and I needed to call my MD to have a new prescription sent to the new pharmacy even though I had proof that I had messages from Walgreens of filling that prescription the week before and then found out that they didn't take my new insurance. I was then told by the pharmacist that she didn't understand why I couldn't just call and get a new prescription and that not having my prescription on time would not affect me that much. In addition, there was no way of tracking the prescription that I had filled and not taken due to the fact that I was going to have to pay the whole amount because of my insurance. As a health care provider I find this to be entirely unprofessional and unrealistic. How do you not have a tracking system for your prescriptions and what prescriptions are filled and by who? There is no way that you can function as a pharmacy with out being able to keep track of a prescription and if it has actually been filled and picked up. Thank you Dina for not being able to perform your job or having any explanation of how my prescription magically disappeared even through you filled it and I didn't take it. read more

I was in the pharmacy and was advised I could buy a medication plan for my dog. I did. One med went from $143.50 to $22.50. The first time my vet tried to send a prescription in they couldn't get it. Turned out the paper in the fax machine was out about 3 days. I need a refill. My vet sends in a prescription refill. Walgreens notifies me it was denied. I call the vet. They do all over again. Again they said the vet denied the prescription refill. The staff was rude when I called and just blamed my vet. I called first thing to give them the vet's fax number as they didn't update the file the first time. My vet notified me they will no longer work with Walgreens. I can't blame her as it is a fight and no one has time for that. I called Rite Aid. They advised they will try all available coupons to try and get costs for pet medication down. I will be transferring my prescriptions as well as Walgreens is not worth the long lines or rude staff. Their pharmacy hours were recently cut back. Was a drop in customer demand a factor? After all this, I have to wonder. I recommend going to another pharmacy to save your sanity. I'll be moving on as well. read more

This store just got a new manager. And he was very helpful. He went out of his way to help us find what we needed. I did have a previous experience at the pharmacy where the pharmacist tried to accommodate our prescription need without a script at that moment. I haven't had one bad experience at this particular Walgreens store. So far so good. read more
