The one feature that has Costco beat is the scan and go feature on their app. I can scan each item from my phone and it generates a shopping cart. When I am ready to pay I can pay right on the app with any card I have on file. It creates a QR code on my phone and I can skip the lines and walk straight out the door! There is a scanner before the exit that counts the items in your cart and if it matches your receipt the attendant just waves you on. If they're is a discrepancy the attendant will scan the QR code on your phone and might rescan to confirm the purchase which is really quick. Word of advice. Remove personal items like purses, umbrellas or jackets from the cart before going through the exit scanner because the computer will count them as well and that can slow your exit.

On Friday, November 21, I placed a bulk Instacart order for pickup with this particular store--26…read moreunits each of six items--for a ministry project scheduled for the following day. Upon arrival, only six of each item had been fulfilled. When I inquired, I was told the manager would not allow the employee to complete the order because the store "does not fill bulk orders." I then asked if I could enter the store and purchase the remaining items myself and was told yes. However, midway through shopping, the manager stopped my husband and me and informed us we were not permitted to do so. When we asked whether multiple individuals could come in to purchase the items separately, we were again told no. This was both surprising and disappointing, as your store has allowed this same annual ministry purchase for several years during Thanksgiving and Christmas. The manager's conduct was unnecessarily rude and showed no empathy toward the community members our ministry was trying to assist. Based on this experience, I will no longer be shopping at this location. I will also definitely be contacting corporate tomorrow.

I had did that the day prior and when I got home and opened the package to pack the cord noticed that it was damaged to the point that it was not usable. I figured that I would just stop along my travel and exchange the broken one for a new one. GPS will show you where to go when you don't know the area. Exactly what happened here. I wish now that I would have went elsewhere. I walked in and went to the area they had setup for customer service. Told them that all I wanted to do was exchange it for exactly what I had. They kept the item and I went back to the electronics department to find my replacement. I searched and searched and searched for a replacement. I wasn't seeing what I needed. I went to look for an associate to see if I am just blind or if they were indeed out of the item. When I saw an associate I went over and asked if I could get some help. It was a bit funny, I had asked one and had two come to help me. When I pointed out the item that I needed she used her little scanner thing and scanned the peg. Her database was telling her that there were two of them in stock. But not on the peg. We looked through every peg as a just in case. Nothing. Walked the department to make sure there wasn't a display with them on, nothing. Then the truth comes out. They had no one with knowledge of the department currently working. So even though the associate was answering my questions, her knowledge of the department was nil. She was just giving a blanket answer. Working retail prior in my life I would have gone to the back to check and see if it was just sitting on a shelf waiting to be placed on the floor. Or at least that's what I used to do when working. We would constantly pull items from the back to see if they could go out, if they didn't, they just went back to the back. I ended up just buying the charging cord that was shorter because it was needed and I didn't have any other time to stop elsewhere before reaching my destination. Went to the front and told the associate I was dealing with what the situation is. This is the irritating part. For me exchanging an item that was damaged to no fault of my own and having to get an item that was similar but not exact, I could receive the difference back to me via put back on my debit card (which is my money and basically cash in these days) or I could receive it back as store credit. For real, you think I want to carry around a gift card with like two dollars on it. I guess I'll just wait the three to five business days for it to show back up in my banking account.

So I take the coupons and came back second time to purchase more products to meet $250 for free gifts. But that wasn't my point, as I went to the store today again Feb. 21 at 12:30pm and one Cashier name Liliana P. didn't bother to greet me at first, and she just stared her eyes out with an attitude. I browse for more products I need to buy to fit my purchase, I was at check out and she told me I can't open the lipsticks on my hand, so I apologized to her I did not see the warnings. Another cashier come in and check out my purchases, this time I brought over $270. When my friend asked the cashier if she can see those lipsticks samples laying on the cashier place, as for my purchase is done and ready to pay. The cashier literally screamed at us, I quoted " Why you need to look at this? You don't want this? - You and your friends touched everything in the store and contaminated the store and I have to clean it." I was shocked. I told her my purchase is done and my friend just want to see the samples again. She again started ranting the same question repeatedly and made a big scene in the store. I'm very upsetting that I've spent almost $500 in the store within the last two days as the first time customer and all I got is the feeling of being harassed by this cashier, she doesn't apologize nor say "Have a great day" to me and my friend, like she did to other customers that walked out. Between two of us we send $1000 your way but we didn't feel welcomed one bit instead just total embarrassment when we shopped here. I did not expect you decided to hire and pay people to be racist, xenophobic to your customers, calling them contaminating your store as if it's a medical lab and your customers are the viruses. This weekend I'm taking this story to every social medias, every friend and family member and local news, people shouldn't be anywhere close to your company or they'll get racist insults with an attitude at the price of $500.
