Rude people in the pharmacy. They looked at my license to get my medication and told me it was expired. When I got home I realized that they were looking in the wrong spot and it was valid. I changed pharmacies immediately. read more

I went to this Walgreens on providence rd for a door dash order and the lady that checked me out was rude. She looked at my tattoos and frowned as if there was something wrong. I personally will never return to this location ever again. It's just sad to be silently judged by someone who doesn't even know you. All of my tattoos have positive meanings. Mostly which related to Christ. So again she is just not a good person to have at a register. read more

I came here to pick up my daughter's rx. I went to the drive thru. The guy at the drive thru was very friendly and quick. I asked a question about my daughter's last rx and he looked it up for me without any issues. I didn't wait long for anything and it's easy to get in and out of the drive thru. read more

This is my second Covid shot, and it is also the second time I feel disappointed with the delays. Even with appointment, and coming early, they take extra 40min for one shot. Mainly paperwork delay as actual shot takes less than 2min. There is no long line and the time between each shot is more than 15min. If I have a chance, I would try some other pharmacy. read more

Pharmacy service is the worst I have ever had anywhere! 3+ hours to get a basic antibiotic RX filled. Constantly having to wait a day, because they don't have a medication in stock. Long waits at the drive-thru window because they are "short staffed" on a regular basis. It's ridiculous! read more

The staff at this facility are unfriendly, including the pharmacy staff who are extremely slow. I was the only person in the store this morning. The cashier barely mumbled hello. The pharmacy tech was rude and not helpful in regards to my prescription. I went back this evening in the drive through. I waited at the window for 5 minutes with a line of cars behind me, after waiting in the line a good 10 minutes. I'll stick with CVS on Conlan circle. read more

I have used this pharmacy location for several years because it is close to my home. Wait times for service are often long and the staff seems to be short handed for the workload, but I accepted this because the location was convenient - which is not a good reason to settle on a service provider. I called today to see if the shingles vaccine was available and when told that it was, I asked how much it would cost and offered to reconfirm/update my insurance info as needed in order to understand my out of pocket expense. The pharmacist told me the cost could not be provided over the phone because they had to enter all my info in the computer with me there in person. Well, that sounds like BS to me and I explained that I would not come in without knowing the cost, but he offered no flexibility in his position. Well I called the CVS just down the road at Hunter Crossing, they had the vaccine, took my insurance info, told me what my out of pocket cost would be, said they would hold a dose for me and I plan to stop by next Monday to get the first of two injections. There are too many other pharmacies willing to be transparent with their pricing for Walgreens to hide behind their bureaucracy and expect consumers to simply take it the way they want to dish it out. I have directed my doctor to change my prescriptions to CVS. read more

This is a brand new location.....located at the corner of 521 and Providence Rd W. I had the opportunity to take advantage of the photo department services today, and they exceeded my expectations. I had a few photos that I wanted to have processed. I used the self service photo station, and chose the quickest method of processing. Since I only had a few pics, the staff member stated that it should not take that long to process. The print out on the screen stated they would be ready in approx 30 min......they had me out the door in 15 min. This is a great location, the store is brand new with a beautiful facade. Switched to this pharmacy as they have a drive-through, desirable in this era of COVID. Worst experience ever. Had to go there SIX times over an 8-day period to get a simple prescription for my mother. They blamed Medicare but it became apparent that it was actually their system and their staff that was at fault. So much back and forth on the reasons why the RX was not ready. They finally said it was approved and ready when I called them after my 4th visit, then said they were still waiting on Medicare when I showed up the 5th time. Never mind that they were supposed to be notifying me of the RX status by text message (this never happened), or that they say there is free delivery (but not for Medicare patients). Unbelievable.... They did give me a gift certificate to their store for my trouble, but all I want is good service! Going back to the Harris Teeter pharmacy. They always kept me informed of any issues and the staff is intelligent, professional and friendly. No friendliness at all at Walgreens. I'm done with them! read more
