It is the only 24hr Walgreens in the area. It has a larger volume than the others in the are. When it is before or after the closing time of the other Walgreens in the area, it gets super busy. People need meds 24/7. People is plural, meaning it's more than one person. Lines are going to be long. Things aren't going to be perfect. Systems put in place to sped things up have helped add to the issues. As long as you're alive, you can be patient. A patient patient. It's easier to get the job done, if we don't yell and make things worse. :D read more

This is the worst Walgreens in the city of Charlotte. Customer service is horrible the pharmacy staff are extremely rude. The girl that works in cosmetics African-American "girl" don't ever tell me to shut up again, If the manager has any customer service experience he would fire you but I seriously doubt that will happen. I live less than 1 mile from this location and I will make sure I never step foot in this store again. read more

As far as Walgreens goes, this one is better than most. Of course it's right across from the "Taj-ma-Teeter" on Morrison....so the neighborhood is pretty snazzy. Look it's clean, well stocked, and has a pretty good staff. Not sure there's anything else that stands out....except not as many bums/homeless hanging around the parking lot. :-) read more

Final straw. I just finished up at urgent care for my child. Go to pick up prescription and system been down two days and had to wait in line for them to say prescription for my child lost in cyberspace as well as every car and person in line. They can't keep up with the volume. What pharmacy that is this large would have a DEAD system for 2 days! Shame on you Walgreens. No urgency for them other than to print money. Switching my pharmacy. You are done with all your patients and I am done with my patience. read more

Customer Service tends towards poor. Keep an eye on the app because you may find a medication canceled, and they won't notify you. Telephone calls are bad - after holding for 14:30 they hang up 10 seconds after picking up. Apparently they couldn't hear me. When I called back they refused to apologize for hanging up. read more

Long pharmacy wait times and pharmacy manager doesn't care for her customers. I overheard her gossiping about a patient as soon as they left. And she got a DWI within the last year. How are they letting her handle medicine?!? If that is the level of standard Walgreens holds its pharmacists to, I won't be going to any Walgreens ever again. read more

Every time I use the drive thru it's a disaster. Going inside isn't much better. If you're considering this location, you need to go elsewhere. Either constantly training someone or just inept. read more

This Walgreens is where I get my prescriptions filled, and shop for couponing deals. I used to go to a big boxed store for my prescriptions (how shall I put this...world's largest retailer started in Arkansas should do the trick) and the service was okay, but it was always so packed and the pharmacy staff so pushed to the limit, I wanted to try somewhere new. The Walgreens is open 24/7 so even if I'm working late, or want to go before work, it's open. A big plus is the drive through, which has great service. As for the management, they're always super helpful if I can't find something, or happy to adjust a transaction if there's a couponing mistake. read more

It's open 24/7, so that's a plus already. I'm in here a lot because of it's convenience and if my wife asks me to run out and get Blue Bell ice cream. Anyways, the staff here is always nice. And the pharmacy is usually pretty helpful over the phone and in person. Walgreens is getting better. They have a rewards system now that is accessible via an app, which is cool. They often have their share of sales and specials. They have a decent selection of things, i.e., frozen food, snacks, beer/wine, grooming products, etc.. I always feel confident when I'm running in there for one or two things, that they'll have it. I know that Harris Teeter across the street probably has a greater selection of things, but I feel like if I need one or two things I can do so much quicker and easier at Walgreens. It can get pretty busy in the pharmacy, but that's probably the only thing that I can think of that I can even consider to be a negative. To me that's a good sign. read more

I have NO issues this time around with this store. It is VERY BUSY...pretty much all hours because of their location. That being said this current crew is polite, professional and does their job without judgment of you or what meds you are on. It's a very different Walgreen experience and I'm happy to be back. One suggestion is for the warning stickers NOT to be placed over the bar code on the vials... I refill all my meds using the bar code scan and removing the warning stickers also removes parts of the barcode. I really have no need for these warnings....I'm on the same meds for years and also am a RN. I'd much rather save the bar code. I have noticed they DO keep their same staff a while, a good sign in a pharmacy. The techs all know me now and are professionally courteous & polite. I'm TRULY happy to be back to this Walgreens! read more

Staffers greet me when I enter the store. * Open 24 hours * Drive thru pharmacy This store will open an additional register in Cosmetics when there is a rush hour crowd in line to pay. They are the absolute worst pharmacy I've ever had to deal with. I can't wait to pick up the last of my prescription and move to any other pharmacy. Literally waiting on hold for 30 mins only to be hung up on. I mean I just need my prescription that's been sitting with pending for 6 days. Unreal. Come here for small purchases generally of over the counter vitamins and medication. Good location, however he median is annoying trying to get back on Sharon headed backed to the city. Filled a rx here once, it was fairly busy and an hour wait so I dropped it off and came back later. No text alert like rite aid, but maybe they didn't offer it to me since it was a one time prescription without refills. Make sure you get the Walgreens savings card and check the coupon books at the front of the store for extra savings. read more

Most disgusting place I've ever been in. The bathroom smelled so bad. 2 of the 3 toilets had been defecated on. The other had the biggest, thickest, blackest pube I've ever seen. I dry heaved twice in the restroom and thought that the addition of my vomit might actually improve the condition of the facility. F'n nasty. Papa squat outside before attemping in there. read more

I come here all the time you can't beat it. Love it because it's easy for me to swing in and pick up essentials when need be.

In my opinion the pharmacy was understaffed and unable to serve customers in a timely manner.

This place is terrible. They never have your prescriptions ready, and the staff is downright rude, slow and dress like they are out of a marilyn manson video. Avoid this place like the plague. read more
