I've worked for Walgreens before (five years mind you!) and I know that we used the "Assistance needed on isle **whatever** to help spot and stop people that are potentially shoplifting. I started my trip in the vitamin section, then wandered over to the haircare/makeup/skincare isles. That's when it started. "Assistance needed in isle 1" I look around, I'm the only one there. Strange, but okay. They want to keep an eye on me. Then I go to another isle, it happened again. This literally happened 5 or 6 times! Just for me! If the cashier thought I was shoplifting, I don't understand why he didn't send anyone over to talk with me, chances are I would have asked for what I was looking for, and left. But no! I felt so embarrassed and singled out. The great part was, two "retail shady" looking guys walk in, go to isle 2 or 3, and literally are sitting there TALKING about shoplifting. The cashier was too preoccupied with watching me that he literally let them WALK OUT OF THE STORE WITHOUT PAYING. Not only that, but I made sure that I kept a good two feet distance from the shelves as I was looking, to hint at him "hey, I'm not shoplifting, you know!" He easily saw my purse was behind my back and there was no physical way I could have taken anything. After taking my items up the cashier, I tried to read his name tag so I can report him to the district manager. Luckily for him, he wasn't wearing one. This happened at around 10:20 when I was leaving, on Tuesday March 13th, 2018. If he was one of my employees and if I got a complaint like this, I would seriously retrain him. This is unacceptable. That is not how Walgreens taught us to treat customers. We go through a great deal of training when we are hired on. Honestly, I am so freaking upset. I will be filing an official complaint tomorrow. I already did the receipt survey with all of this information on it. I will make the district manager hear this. If this was my store.. man, I would be so upset that my employees are doing this. I'm white, 5'2, chubby. So there is no racial discrimination going on here. It is literally the fact that the cashier can not read people correctly. I get it, you learn to profile shoplifters better as time goes on, but 6 times for ringing the assistance is needed charm, ON THE SAME PERSON, is OVERKILL. Espically if you can not follow through and get one of your co workers to talk to them. read more

30 minute wait in The DRIVE THRU of the 24 hour pharmacy at midnight . Very bad service

Horrible custmer service in pharmacy! Thought it would be convenient being close to my Dr by the hospital. They told me to wait 30 min and it be ready. I waited in parking lot in the shade cz it was hot, mind you I live across town ( but love my Dr ) so 30 min were up and a different girl in drive thru rudely says I can't get it until tmrw when I had no restrictions. I asked why and she snotty voice says , because that's what we said. Gave me no explanation at all. I called and complained and after I pick it up tmrw I will never go back!! I really hate this location. They're always busy, yet there is only one cashier. They wait until the line is 5 or 6 people deep to call for help. This happens EVERY time I go into this store. I notice it even when I'm just returning a movie to Redbox. read more

It's Walgreens, what do you expect. They are not concerned with how clean the store looks because they know they are just about your only choice to get a prescriptions at 0300. You do have to admit, though, they have some of the coolest crap in town. That product not sold in stores? HA! Go to Walgreens next week they will have it. Recently I got over 900 pictures developed at Walgreens photo. The results were abysmal. When I went to pick up my pictures, there was an ugly white edge left on over a hundred of them. When I took my pictures back and complained I was told, "my boss told me the white edge was small so I didn't have to cut it off." The girl eventually did cut off the edge with a paper cutter "at my request". I went back home and continued to sort through the photos. I discovered that the faces in the frame were cut off in many of the pictures! When I went back in to complain about this, the store manager named Shane told me that it was my fault this happened since "the website tells me that I MUST edit my own pictures. I told him that I have never had this problem before. He told me there was nothing they could do to fix it from their end, and I would have to go home and redevelop the pictures in which faces were cut off. He said Walgreens would give me these corrected pictures that I had already paid for only if I brought back ALL of the pictures I wanted replaced. I had to search through 900 pictures and bring back about every third picture. I discovered when trying to edit these pictures that the Walgreens photo page no longer automatically dumps you into the page where you can edit the sizes, quantities, and frames the regions of interest in the picture. When I went back in to collect my corrected pictures, I told Shane that I would like Walgreens to give me some incentive to bring my pictures back after such a horrible experience. He told me that his supervisor allowed him to give me 5,000 points or $5 store credit. I told him I was unlikely to visit Walgreens again in the future. read more

This has been my "home" store for over a decade. After my last experience with the pharmacy, I have transferred my meds to another store and will never be back. I rang the button to ask a question and was hung up by the pharmacist four times without even getting a chance to say hello or ask them to wait for my question. It has been a long time since I have been so frustrated by said rude customer service. I realize they are busy and have several things to do at the same time. I believe it would be in their best interest, customer service, to wait for a response before they just hang up on you. I did not feel I had to wait in line through the drive-thru for over 5 minutes to get a yes or no question answered. It really would not have taken much for the pharmacist to actually let the person on the other side respond, in other words, don't tell me what to do and then hang up. Because of this extremely poor customer service and the attitude the pharmacist gave me towards the end I will never go back. There are many other stores such as CVS or Rite Aid that I would gladly patronize as opposed to be treated by that jerk. read more

This Walgreens has a friendly staff and good stock of the usual Walgreens supply including OTC medicines, toiletries, packaged groceries, office supplies, makeup, hair care, and so on. The parking lot is cramped (be careful please) and the site shows its age. 24 hour pharmacy convenience can't be beat, and the staff might be a reason to return. That said, I'm on the lookout for a Walgreens that isn't dingy. You may have to stand in line for a while, as the pharmacy area is small, only has a few chairs, and this location seems busy. read more

These people do not care. I need a medicine. I wanted to transfer in my prescription from another pharmacy. Walgreens told me it wouldn't be a problem. After two phone calls and one visit to Walgreens, the prescription was finally transferred. I had to call Walgreens again to find out that the prescription was transferred, but the drug was not available. Not "we can get it by Tuesday," not "I'm sorry we didn't check this." Just ... not available... good luck, go fish...". Now I need to get the prescription transferred back to the first pharmacy again. This, I am sure, will require several more phone calls and visits to prompt these people to care enough to do their jobs. It would have been so easy back in the beginning to simply check. read more

It quick n close...I hate that when I walk in I feel watched .last time the cosmetic lady assumed I was stealing because I took long time looking at cosmetic,like really I was trying to decide n I walk to the counter n she follows me stands there as I pay n I leave. Customer service is horrible. Stopped by on our way to a friends to get a bday card and some soda and all of the workers were totally incompetent! One register was being slowed down by customers that were claiming some chocolates were on sale and while employees were trying to find the so called coupon they said they saw, the employee at the counter stood there. She could have moved them aside and helped the growing line of customers which were waiting for at least 10 minutes. The other employee at the register locked herself out because she entered her wrong Id number 5 times, so that register was also closed! So no one was moving. There was even yelling going on around the store as the employees way of communicating to each other. Even the so called manager was extremely rude to the employees in front of the customers and did not offer to help open a register even though he saw the line. He just disappeared after he helped the employees at the register! I will never go back!!! read more

I love this walgreens!!! I really love the fact that they have an automated sensor thing mentioning a customer in cosmetics. I ended up being asked for help. Photo is also awesome. I've enjoyed Walgreens for several years. However on Christmas Eve 2017 I walk in the store with my 11 year old son and immediately a store announcement says customer assistant needed on every aisle I walked on. So I mentioned to the cashier about my concern that Walgreens is racial profiling their customers. I was in the store for 15 minutes and every aisle I was on there was an alert announcement made I was in need of assistant which was not the case. However when I walked in the store there was a Caucasian male who had been on the same aisle the entire 15 minutes but no alert was announced for the Caucasian customer. My attire was workplace professional as I'm a medical professional and my son was dressed in jeans and sweatshirt with no hoodie or baggy clothing, it was clear to me the reason the announcement was made was because of the color of my skin. I stopped shopping at Walgreens for a month and recently went in the store to purchase a gift card and unfortunately the same experience. So I'll look to take my business elsewhere and will share my experience with other medical professionals in my office, friends and family as I look to support a business that's respectful of their customers not based on the color of their skin. read more
