Not a bad location, it's easy to get to, tho it's not always the cleanest. We've been for a few various reasons, the staff wasn't overly happy to help out, or so it seemed. Took a good while to get passport photos. We would also stop in for certain products, such as a certain model of Carmex, which they don't seem to sale anymore. Prescription prices are competitive with the main chain across the street, that's a good thing. Add the fact that they have a drive though, and that makes it all the better so a person doesn't have to go inside. Walgreens has always been a decent spot, this one could us a little work to improve. read more

If you have the option to use another pharmacy do so. I saw the reviews for this pharmacy but it is the closest one to us for immediate RX refills that takes our insurance. I knew they were slow and unprofessional so I've always called to make sure the RX was ready even when I have gotten the text message it was ready. Most the time it is not or half the meds they do not have even though common steroids or antibiotics. I called this time and spoke to a lady. She told me she had one son's and not the other but would be ready in 20 minutes. Both having a severe reaction to something. Gave them 35 minutes just in case and left work. 45 minutes since they said it would be ready in 20 I arrived. Younger man at drive through said one was ready but not the other son's RX. I said I'd take the one that was ready as he was with me. He said 12:45. It was 12:38. Explained I called and they said it would be ready 25 minutes ago. He said one is ready but not the other and repeated 12:45. Again I asked if I can I take the one son's now. He repeated 12;45. At this time it was 12.40. Didn't bother to talk to pharmacist or get a manager. He knew I spoke to someone that said it would be ready at 12:20. He had a condescending look on his face, shrugged his shoulders and said 12:45. He also knew I left work and live 25 minutes away. ***Called the pediatrician office. Told them what happened with Walgreens. They called Walgreens for explanation. Only told them they were ready now after doctor had to wait for them to answer. I asked doctor to call them into CVS instead. Happy to do so since even they had issues with Walgreens. Doctor submitted to CVS after we hung up at 2:15. Received text at 2:20 pm they received RX. Received text at 2:30 they were processing. Text they were filled and ready to pickup at 2:45 and all the meds. If you can, go to CVS in Cleburne. Same price for RX but quick and professional. They did in 30 minutes what Walgreens couldn't do in more than two hours.*** read more

After my last experience with this Walgreens I never thought I'd set foot in the store again Last night however I received a call from the photo section saying they had an old order for me. I explained that I did not pick them up (several months ago) because they would not honor a coupon I had. After some discussion I told the caller I would be in today to pick them up. I live an hour drive from the store. When I showed up today the photos could not be located. The incompetence of the employees and managers at this store is unbelievable. read more

The Cleburne pharmacy didn't have our medicine for our prescription, so they told us they called Burleson and they had the medicine. We asked twice to make sure it was confirmed that Burleson Walgreen in fact had the medicine. We arrived at the Burleson Walgreens. They told us that Cleburne Walgreens does this ALL the time. Cleburne Walgreens NEVER called Burleson Walgreens to confirm they had the medicine. Drove home with no prescription. Honesty is always the best policy. Just be honest with your customers. read more

Went to get a free vaccine. Walk ins welcome, according to signs. Told me they don't do vaccines between 1 and 2. Told me to wait or go to Burleson. Burleson told me to go to Cleburne. So either they don't really have vaccines or they just don't want to administer them. That's the impression I got from the runaround they gave me. Not a fan of Walgreens, as it is, since they kept giving me the wrong doses of my meds that I need to stay alive and function with. This should've been an easy thing to get done, but it was just a wild goose chase and a massive waste of time. read more

This place does not take phone calls. After 6 attempts and being on hood for over 40 minutes, never speaking to a human, I went elsewhere.

I tried to refill my son's ADHD medication 30 days after I had filled it last and the pharmacist would not fill it. She said the insurance would not process the prescription. Then they tried to tell me it was a law that it had to be passed 30 days to fill. I waited until the day he ran out to fill it because they will not fill early and I understand. It is absurd that you have to be completely out and wait until the next day to fill a control. School starts at 8 a.m. and the pharmacy does not open that early. This pharmacy does not care about their customers....seems to me that they would rather we go somewhere else to fill our prescriptions. CVS had no problem filling the prescription and the insurance covered their part. read more

Don't ever come to pick up a prescription in any sort of hurry. I've been in line for 30 minutes now, only started with 3 cars in front of me, there are currently 2. If I wasn't trapped with someone behind me I would just leave. I don't know if they need to hire more help or what but it's quite slow. read more

We just moved to Cleburne a few months ago and I needed to find a new pharmacy. I had one of my prescriptions transferred here. I called the pharmacy several days after my doctor called it in to see if it was ready to be picked up. I was put on hold for at least 5 min. You could hear someone pick up the phone and then hang up. This happened 3 times. I finally called again to talk to a regular store employee, told them what was happening and told her that it almost seems as if they were hanging up on purpose. She actually laughed a little and said "yes, they are really busy back there and because of that, they are hanging up when the phone is ringing." She also continued by saying "what they are doing isn't right but it is what is going on". I couldn't believe it! This is terrible customer service and these employees who did that should be written up! I finally got this lady to check my prescription status for me and she told me it won't be filled until the following week. When I went in to pick it up, the girl at the register at the pharmacy was clearly irritated and obviously hates her job. Please get some new employees back there. There are plenty of workers looking for work. read more

Literally waited 45 minutes for a flu shot. This is absolutely absurd and inefficient. I suggest you take your flu shot needs elsewhere!

We really needed my daughters medicine, I went inside and the line was super long. So I went to the drive through, it took like 30 MINUTES for just ONE car!!! While we were in line we tried to call and ask if the medication was ready, they don't even bother hiring a REAL person to answer the phone. It's a robot!!! And it's voice operated and was super hard to ask about anything. Ended up just hanging up. read more

Worst customer service in the photo department. The will call you and tell you your photos are ready but then you go inside and they've lost your order. They don't use your codes (photo department) and can never seem to figure out anything in there. Always takes forever to get your photos don't waste your time. read more

This post is in regard to cost of medicine Cleburne Walgreens. When I went to pick up medicine, I was quoted a price. I asked if that was the lowest price available and the girl said yes. The medicine was $142 and some change. Good RX through Walgreens was $127, not only did I not get the good rx price, Good Rx through Kroger was $60.... could have saved $80.00 by going to Kroger. My bad for doing my homework 15 minutes too late. When I called back to Walgreens, nothing could be done since the meds were already removed from the store. I had not even taken the receipt off the bag. When I was referred to the manager, I spoke to an assistant manager and he could give me $10 at the most in "points". Wished they could have done something better to solve this issue. I shop there all the time, but this was my last. I know they are too big to care, but I will definitely do my research better next time. Still not over it:( read more

They were to lazy to call the other Walgreens and transfer my order. Then I went almost a month because the supplier hadn't sent the drug. I had to drive 60 miles one way to get med refilled in waco.if you haven't already started with them I suggest you go to Kroger's or cvs. read more

I have to say WHAT A GREAT JOB! I was in the store about a week or so (in the mid of the virus scare & no phones in the store). I needed some meds, they were regulated & the fax was not correct. If I did not get my med, there might be serious medical problems. Christy, the store mgr, got me one dose that would get me through the day. EVERYONE in there was SO NICE considering the awful circumstances. The next day the correct fax came through & I got all the meds I needed. These employees were busting their behinds, standing outside trying to get everyone's prescriptions filled....and amazingly it went smoothly without much wait. Phones were out, the pharmacy had to talk to customers through the delivery box, but it got done with a smile on everyone's face. This pharmacy needs a BIG ATTABOY & some corporate recognition. On Monday evening I stopped by my local Walgreens to pick up antibiotics, for which I had already received text notifications, for my two sick babies at home. I beat the rush and was able to pull straight up to the "basket" in the second lane. I was quickly greeted, I asked for the prescriptions for my two sons and they told me that one of them had not been filled because they needed updated insurance information. I quickly supplied the card and sent them my payment card as well in an attempt to expedite the process. Approximately 20 minutes later, I pushed the help button and was re-greeted as if I were a new customer. I reminded her that I was still waiting on my prescriptions and that she still had my credit card. After about 5 more minutes she told me that she was just waiting on the pharmacist and it would be right out. Shortly thereafter I received a text saying that my prescription was ready, for the second time. I continued to be unassisted, pushed the help button twice and finally 15 minutes later I was once again greeted with a "Welcome to Walgreen, how may I help you". At this point my patience was on edge. I reminded her AGAIN that I was the same person waiting for the same prescriptions. she dawdled about and had me paid and processed in about 8 more minutes. in total, I spent 1 hour and 5 minutes waiting in the drive-thru line. to make matters worse, when I arrived home and opened the individual bags, I discovered that both prescriptions had in fact be filled earlier but they had been accidentally placed in the same bag. I am not even sure where to begin on my issues with that! Walgreens was lucky that it was only an antibiotic and it at least managed to end up in the correct household. I am terribly displeased and will be taking my business elsewhere. I just felt that my experience ought to be known to decision makers within the business. read more
