God bless America, land that I love! Nothing titillates my fancy more than a good pharmacy. This place reeks of corporate America. The whitewashed walls, the constant buzzing from the ceiling fixtures, and oodles and oodles of choices through never-ending aisles. Not many places can offer you such a variety of goodies such as: mushroom soda, lube, Tostitos chips, plan b, people magazine, and (if you're lucky) prescription pain medication! What a place, I tell you. I rode into town not too long ago, after my dental procedure that required a hefty amount of anesthesia and ketamine. After assuring my doctors that I did not drive myself and that my ride was here to get me, I stumbled out into the parking lot towards my Ford Ranger. Man, was the world spinning! So anyway, I started driving. With my jaws full of cotton and ice packs on my cheeks, I rode across 3A like Fast Betty. It was like I was in that movie with that hunk Vin Diesel! The fat and the furious or whatever. I was weaving through the lanes all in an attempt to find the nearest pharmacy so I could pick up my prescription. Then came Walgreens. I must say, the customer service was really good here! When I walked in there was a short fellow at the register. I asked him where I could find the shitter, and he gladly pointed me in the right direction. "Glad I could help!" The short fellow squelched. The bathroom stunk of rotten flesh. It was as if all the scoundrels of hell had lain a sickly curse on the very room. I pooped quickly, and left quickly too (for I had clogged the toilet and the stench was too strong for me to do anything about it). Ugh. It must've been the birdies I had eaten. Never again I swear! As I walked down the aisles I stepped in a massive puddle and my brand new Chewbacca crocs were soaked. "Son of a dinkledobbenheimerschlob!" I belched. The short fellow reappeared again and looked shocked. "Oh no!" He squelched again. And then in a fiery instant, he did something truly remarkable. He took a wand from out of his pocket and said, "presto!" And the water vanished. The short fellow had magic abilities, and good ones at that. But who could he be an apprentice for? Suddenly a tall grey haired man stepped forth, with spectacles. "Gandalf!" I squealed, letting out a bubbly and gurgling fart. He didn't seem too amused so I let the wizard be. Anyways, I picked up my perc 30s from the pharmacy and started for the door, not before buying a fancy bandana which the short fellow rung out for me. "Toodles!" I said, and I walked out the door. I love this place, however I don't think I'm allowed back. I double parked in a handicap zone, clogged their rusty toilet, and exposed two of their employees for having magic powers. I can't get over the stench of that toilet! Good gracious if my aunt myrna were here today to see such a vile thing she'd just about cry! 3/5 stars. read more

I was a regular customer at the CVS across from this Walgreens location for a very long time, but CVS has really gone down hill in recent years due to corporate policies, which appears to be solely focused on increasing profits, even at the cost of their employees' mental health. Walgreens in Cohasset is my regular pharmacy now. They are always prompt, friendly, and when you call the store an employee will actually pick up the phone to help you (CVS goes to voicemail now). Further, when I need to fill prescriptions that my insurance does not cover, the pharmacists at Walgreens will automatically find and apply a GoodRx BIN to defray my cost vs. CVS where they won't do that and will try to charge me full retail price (like $35 per pill vs $1 per pill at Walgreens with the GoodRx BIN applied). read more

I tried to get my hemorrhoid medication from the pharmacy, and the workers were taking their sweet time. I try to be patient, but not when I'm throbbing in pain! I asked to speak to the store manager when I received my prescription, and they said she was on break! I asked another employee, and they said she was on a break! I asked for a number to call, which they gave, and I left. The manager was outside smoking a cigarette. I asked to speak to her, and she said after her smoke break. I went back in to wait for her, and she came in about 10 minutes later. I walked up to her and informed her about the pharmacy wait, which she replied she would do it after her smoke break, going back outside to smoke another cigarette. I leave, but not without sending my husband in to buy some construction paper for my niece. The manager walked in the store, out of the store, smoked a cigarette for probably 10 minutes, then proceeded to do it for an hour straight! Almost 7 times she went and took smoke breaks! I decided to go inside and find my husband, who was waiting at the register with all the employees, who needed the manager to fix the register. She came in 5 minutes later, and when they asked for her help she snapped at them, and went for ANOTHER smoke break! Eventually an employee just took her manager ID and fixed the issue, but come on now! She walked in as we left, and as I returned my shopping cart she came back outside for a smoke break. I told her that she was inconsiderate, but then she offered to let me bum a cigarette with her. I haven't smoked since the 70s, but what the heck, I'm stressed anyways! 3 stars! read more

Every time I go to the Walgreens pharmacy at the Cohasset location for one particular medication, the people argue with me because I have secondary insurance. The medication is Trulicity and this time of year it is $450.00. With my supplemental insurance it's $68 for a 60 days supply and $30.00 for a one month supply. I tried to pickup my prescription and the woman behind the counter argued with me that I have always paid $450.00. No matter how many times I told her no that with my supplemental insurance it's only $68.00 she would argue with me. She even printed out a report to prove it. I finally took my insurance card and left with a few choice words. The manager called me while I was in the parking lot ready to drive home and he verified it was just $68.00. A previous time I had another woman behind the counter argue with me that using my supplemental insurance wasn't going to save me any money and I would have to pay the $450.00. After a few times of arguing with her, I finally got her to enter my insurance card and my medication was $30.00. They have argued with my daughter when she had medication to fill. This last episode was enough for me and I'm going back to CVS. It would stress me out to think that I had to go to Walgreens to pick up this one medication because it was always an argument. I still don't have my medication. I wouldn't recommend the Cohasset Walgreens to anyone. The pharmacy staff are rude and argumentative. read more

Just not a pharmacy you want to go to when they are busy. They cannot handle a crowd and get real frazzled. On most of my few occasions they are polite and curious, but during cold and flu season they are downright awful. And done use the drive through. You will be there for eons! read more

The actual pharmacists are polite and knowledgeable. The staff working the floor are nice and go out of their way to help. However, the attendants who work in the pharmacy can be extremely rude and short with customers, make you feel like your doing something wrong and lecture you if you have any questions. read more

Zero customer service. The pharmacy staff are rude. I understand bad days but every time I've gone in to pick up prescriptions for family the staff seem impatient to offer assistance or answer questions. I'll be sure to change from the snobs at this branch to another. If you don't like the job - change careers. read more
