Convenient for a quick trip. On my way in to work today I needed to stop at a ATM. Royal Farm has surcharge free ATMs and my bank doesn't charge any fees if I use them so I decided to come to this location. While I was there I picked up and coffee as well. Since I am a RoFo rewards member my coffee was only 1.99 would have been 2.49 at regular price. They have one of those machines that brews the coffee fresh each time. Nice to know it hasn't been sitting all day. Store wasn't busy this morning. They didn't have any cashiers but they have two self service registers. Prices are what you would expect for any convenience store. I have been here on other occasions to grab a beverage or snack. Overall not a bad place so I will return. read more

Royal Farms in Columbia gotta do better! I stopped by to get my mom some chicken. I can't blame them for being packed, but it was to the point that either an accident would happen in the parking lot or there would be a fight from road rage. There were 8 people waiting on their chicken order, and it was just one person working in the back. No help! People got pissed from the wait times. I was pissed too, but why add to the current injection of negativity in the store All of the chicken was dry, even the legs. The potato salad looked like an episode of AMERICA'S WORST COOKS on Food Network. It was only one person at the cash register. He was cool, though. I'm sure one day I will be forced by convenience to come here again. I hope it won't be as bad as the first. read more

For customer service I'd say they get a 0 but we can only rate down to 1. I ordered 8 piece mixed chicken (4 thighs, 4 legs) paid and came back and was told they had no legs. I had to ask how long it would take and was told 15 minutes. I asked for all thighs and was told they couldn't do it because they were $3 each. Well I paid about $12 so they were telling me the thighs were worth $12 and the legs were a gift. They offered two wings and two tenders after stating I don't care for wings. So I went for a refund. Did they ask me why? No. I got the refund and walked to Giant where I got the same thing for $8. read more

Eh. I spent $8 bucks on a chicken salad sandwich and store brand chips. It was pretty sad. The chicken salad was breaded fried chicken likely cooked day or two before cut up with Mayo. Period. The bread was stale and the lettuce brown. I have it two stars because the man making it was nice. This is no Wawa for sure; just a tired looking store with subpar sandwiches. Sorry I hate negative reviews but it was disappointing. read more

Well it's definitely not WaWa but options excluding traditional fast food were limited in this area to purchase to bring with us to Clark's Elioak Farm. The touchscreen ordering was handy and we received our food within (a very long with a toddler) 10 minutes. I tried a buffalo chicken wrap and ordered my son a turkey and cheese sandwich on a potato bun. The wrap was ok and unmemorable except for the fact that it was super small. My son ate most of his, but I did try a piece of turkey (with a more discernible palate) and it just tasted really processed. He ate part of the potato bun which was great considering he never eats the bread with sandwiches. Royal Farms is below both WaWa and Sheetz IMHO, so I don't really see myself returning to one in the future unless there were not other options for a quick non-fast food meal. read more

Seeing a Royal Farms without a gas station throws me for a loop - but here it is. The fried chicken smell that permeates both this place, all the way out to the cross walk must generate a ton of business. The store itself is clean, efficient and has what you'd expect at any well stocked gas station convenience store (except gas of course) plus chicken - which I've never had. They do have an incredibly cool milk shake machine. You choose a flavor, slam the cup into the machine and it blends and freezes it in just a minute or so. It tastes very sugary, kind of good, but ultimately a bit greasy which is weird, so I don't think I'll do it again. Staff is quick and friendly enough. read more

It's a royal farms so its not at that different from any other. I work nearby so I swing in from time to time to get their famous chicken. Usually I can pick that up and be able to get back to work with time still left to enjoy my lunch. Nothing spectacular, just a typical royal farms fast food store. read more

Cheese burger w/ cheese western fries! Double cheesy! They were very busy during lunch time, they had only two monitors verses to up to four monitore for take orders at other royal farms so I had to wait in the line till gets my turn, My order of Cheeseburger w/ Western Fries and cheese sauce was ready like 10 min late, The Burger was really tasting good and hot as well as Western Fries! everything was yummy! read more

Can only speak for the food area in the back.. the server the other day wasn't the nicest to anyone. If you want a bag for all your food you have to pay extra and it was bad enough I spent almost $2 for a side of macaroni salad which I did not receive.. I really have no interest in going there for food again. read more

I heard Royal Farms has really good fried chicken.. who would have thought a gas station with good fried chicken???? Well stopped by here last Friday and they were making it fresh in the back.. I got a leg and a wing (not much) but wanted to try it.. WOW much better than Popeyes and tastier than Chick Fil_A ..coming back for the 10 pieces next time.. nice crispy breading and good seasonings read more

They have tables set up if you don't want to take your food to go or eat in your car. The service is pretty quick. I might of waited ten minutes for my order of chicken tacos. I'm not a corn tortilla lover but however they make their tortillas have changed my mind. The first time tried them they had a crisp text to them. They reminded me of a soft chip. There is no gritty taste to them. The chicken is seasoned down! It's so tednder and flavorful. I liked the red and the green sauce. I just poured it all over everything. I'll try something else the next time I pass through.

I absolutely love this Royal Farms. I am within walking distance of this place and every weekend I walk there just to eat their fried chicken.They have a large assortment of candies, sodas, chips, and coffee. The food that they make is always hot and fresh. I would absolutely recommend this place for anybody who want to have moderately priced, decent quality fast food. read more

Overall, it was a traumatic experience for my daughter. No apologies whatsoever from the management team at this Burger King in Mount Airy, Maryland. Customer service skills need attention.

This was my first time visiting any Shake Shack location, here in Columbia, Maryland. I was…read moreactually surprised during my visit, because I was really thinking that this was going to be one of those awesome 5-star experiences, but it just wasn't. As I approached this business, I found the outside to be clean and the landscaping was pleasant. After entering, I was immediately faced with a bunch of kiosks for customers to place their orders. I just don't like kiosks. To me, this just shows me a business that is trying to reduce their customer service by not hiring cashiers and making the customer perform the cashier's job with no cost benefit to the customer. After placing my order, I was then questioned with how much I would like to tip. I found this to be even more annoying. What am I tipping for? The quality of the food?...I haven't eaten it yet. The quality of the service?...I haven't received any yet. Tipping BEFORE any experience is ridiculous and presumptuous. To me, tipping is a way for the customer to show that they are satisfied (or highly satisfied) with the experience they have had AFTER they have had it. I ended up ordering the double SmokeShack Burger, which comes with two beef patties, cheese, bacon, cherry peppers, and ShackSauce. The burger was really delicious, but I was surprised by how small it was for being a double. I also ordered the Bacon Cheese Fries, which are crinkle cut French fries topped with cheese sauce and bacon. This was pretty good too, but not as good as I thought it would be. For my drink I was going to get a soda-pop, but then I decided to try their Shack-Made Lemonade. It tasted weird, and I regretted getting it. I was served at my table by a server who delivered my food without saying a word. While eating my meal, I noticed that the inside of the restaurant looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. In fact, I did not see anyone cleaning anything inside during my entire visit. Even more disturbing was the lack of friendliness of the employees. I kid you not, there were about a dozen people working here during my visit and I did not see a single employee crack a smile...not for anyone. While leaving, I decided to order their Chocolate Blackout Pudding Shake. After getting back to my hotel with this for dessert, I only had a few spoonfuls. Again, this tasted weird. I ended up throwing out 90% of it because it just wasn't very tasty. In total, I spent over $33, which is a ridiculously high cost for one fast food meal. In comparison with my favorite fast food restaurant, In-N-Out (primarily in the western U.S.), I can get a similar meal at In-N-Out for about HALF the cost. I don't know about you, but if I pay substantially more I expect a substantially better experience. I hope that the other Shake Shack businesses don't operate like this one; This was NOT a worthwhile experience, especially considering the cost.

I believe Raising Cane's in Columbia was the 3rd location in Maryland to open. First was Towson in early 2023 I think, then Gambrills in Sept. 2023 (went on their 2nd day; see my 5-star of them), and then Columbia in early 2024 I think. The first time I visited the Columbia location was in March 2024, where I redeemed a green leprechaun lemonade, but I had already eaten or had other dinner plans. My first visit to get food was in July 2024. This was my girlfriend's first time at Raising Cane's. She loved it as did I per the other times I had in the past including the first time trying them in AZ in mid 2010's. I visited Cane's Columbia a couple of other times in the past two years. Always great chicken strips, fries, & Texas toast. I'm not a big coleslaw person, but I like theirs ok. I normally get half sweet/half unsweet tea, which is delicious freshly brewed. It's often busy, but staff is cordial, and pretty organized and efficient.
