I come to this Walgreens a lot lately the service has gone down. Today the locked the doors an hour early.

University of Miami Health System is trying to charge $470 for a covid and flu test. My insurance "adjusted" it down $320 and now they are proud that they are only charging me ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS for a flu and covid test. If you try calling to complain no one can help you. Meanwhile, I was happy to go to a University of Miami run institution because I think of them having a good reputation. Honestly, this is nothing short of stealing. Shame on them! read more

This Walgreens always has a good variety of products and things are generally well-organized. Although it is in a generally safe area, I would recommend not leaving valuables in your car in plain sight--my cousin had her window smashed in and laptop stolen around 6pm on a weekday. There is no security guard in sight; park near the door at a well-lit spot when visiting at night. To the owners, I recommend installing security cameras and placing signs alerting all those in the parking lot that the area is under surveillance- could deter a thief or two. read more

From Doritos to Zyrtec, they have it all so the discrepancies of them being usually short-staffed is often overlooked for pros like these. Plus, they offer points on so many items that their cash back features make shopping here easy when you've accumulated the coupons to your account. Walgreens pharmacy promotes their app, but it is a disaster. A couple of days after renewing my prescription, the app shows it is canceled. No message is sent and no explanation is provided. I have to start the process over again. When I see speak to the people at the pharmacy they act like there is no app, let alone explaining why it is no functioning. Other times after renewing my prescription the app tells me to call the pharmacy. When I do the people there say they don't know why I am calling. Terrible. read more

This Walgreens pharmacy is such a nightmare. It's so hard to get anyone on the phone (sometimes they answer, put you on hold for a long time, then hang up), and there's always a long line both inside and outside at the drive-tru. Picking up meds can easily take 45 minutes there. This week I had an especially bad experience where someone at the pharmacy gave me the wrong information twice, which resulted in me waiting for over an hour (when she said it would only take 15 minutes), followed by me leaving without my medication due to an issue with my prescription. It seems like the pharmacy is terribly understaffed, and the staff they do have seem uninformed. This Walgreens pharmacy was terrible before the pandemic and now it's just unbearable. read more

When stupidity was passed around, the staff of this Walgreen's stood in line twice. The pharmacy is a disgrace. On Saturday I went to pick up medicine. They gave me the wrong medicine. I called and called and called only to be put on hold every single time. Finally, I got someone who promised that my correct medicine would be delivered on Monday. It wasn't. I was finally able to get someone on the pharmacy on Monday after again being put on hold five times and waiting close to 20 minutes. They promised to deliver my medicine today. It was not. These people are playing with my health. This is not a cold cheeseburger that we are talking about. IT IS MEDICINE!!! It is disgusting to deal with such unprofessionalism and lack of organization. The brass at Walgreen's should look at how this store is managed, and the lack of customer service offered the clients. Every time that I pick up my medicine, I pray that it is correct. Absolutely absurd! I came in at 1AM for tampons and was not allowed to buy them because they were randomly cleaning the store. They had the aisle blocked off and the sales associate refused to get the tampons, refused to let me get them and refused to let the people cleaning retrieve them as he said "they are not store employees." I'm not sure who he received instructions from, however it is completely inhumane for a woman to not receive any type of feminine care for an emergency. To make matters worse I was in an Uber and I don't have the time to drive around to various drugstores hunting for tampons in Miami at 1AM! I will be following up with corporate first thing in the morning! read more

Terrible customer service and experience. Walgreens has the worst gift cards ever, they never work at the locations when you pay and then you get despicable employees like Carmen the manager telling you that there is no solution other than calling a corporate number that has even worse customer service and doesn't do anything proactive about fixing the issue with the gift cards. Can't wait for amazon to wipe this company out which was once a decent place to shop at. Employees don't care because corporate could care less. read more

pharmacy CONSISTENTLY gives me the wrong prescription even though it is noted on my account, the wait time is upwards of 30 minutes at any given hour, and when they call to tell you prescription is ready you arrive and they tell you they don't have it in stock and to come back another day after waiting 45 minutes. WORSE PHARMACY TEAM EVER. They have you on hold for hours, claim they never receive faxes that are sent to them and can't refill prescriptions. They don't put you on hold because they are busy no. They are in the back talking instead of working and I can confirm this because when they answer the phone you hear in the background margarita laughing and telling their colleagues that they didn't receive anything. Walgreens was at one time the leader in U.S. pharmacies. It has since degraded to be one of the worst. I have now spent two days literally on the telephone trying to get the pharmacy dept. to answer the phone so I could reorder my blood pressure medication. No luck. I even tried calling and asking for the manager, when someone picked up and said: "En que lo puedo ayudar?" I said: "Do you have anyone who speaks English?" I was then put on hold and am still waiting. Have now called close to ten times, am always put on hold with no answer at all. This store is a joke. Don't waste your time. How sad the state of affairs in this country and particularly in Miami, Florida where complete incompetence, ignorance and apathy is now the norm! read more

Apparently there is always room for decline. Tried to return the vinegar I thought was wine - and my favorite brand at that - and was told by the self-serving employee that they did not receive returns on alcoholic beverages. "I don't want to return it", I protest, "I just want my money back because the wine was obviously vinegar before I even pulled it off the shelf". "Oh", responds the employee with a blank gaze. The pharmacy wait times are atrocious. Expect to spend at least 30 minutes in line to pick up your prescription (and that's on a weekday at 10:00 a.m.! Prepare for much longer wait times on the weekend). Part of the problem is that they're grossly understaffed. There's only one person at the front, and he/she has to step away from the line inside to deal with those at the drive-thru window. Loosen the purse strings, Walgreens. This is the closest Walgreen's to my house - it's also a stop on the way to and from daycare - but wow - getting in and out of here can be a pill. The parking lot is ample - and structured quite nicely so that a lot of cars are close to the door. Why 3 stars? Negra Modelo in cans - excellent purchase en route to Matheson - and TOYS - toys galore - 75% off summer sale on crappy pieces of plastic that makes my kid happy. That big center aisle always seems empty and there tends to be constant upacking and reshelving, but whatever. I should give this place 2 stars for it's pharmacy. Had the worst experience there - and you know - when you need meds (esp. for your KIDS!) - it's not fun to wait. And they made me waaaiitttt - and they totally violated HIPPA regulation - but I won't even go into that. So, mixed feelings - mixed review. read more

I couldn't believe the horrible customer service I received at this Walgreens. I took sick on my vacation had to go to the Emergency Room. I was in so much pain. I called before I arrived just to make sure they had my medication and they did. I arrived at 11:45 am and didn't leave until 1:15pm. I notice people coming in and didn't have to wait. After waiting I had to go back and pick up my insurance card that they forgot to give me.It was my Birthday and the counter rep was like he wasn't sure who came first. However I was the only African American waiting. I went up to the pharmacist and she gave me an attitude because I was inquiring about how much longer will I need to wait. Walgreens is the best in NY. All the Pharmacy staff members need training on customer Service. I will never visit this store again read more

This store really need teamwork because there was a long line that was in the store and I was running late to the appointment and when everybody got served she had to change the paper in the register and her coworker told her that she had a lot of work and she couldn't have time and that she couldn't tend to her needs so there's been other Walgreens that there's been teamwork and they're able to help their teammates but in this one it needs a lot of improvement I had to leave because I had to make an appointment so I thought I would make my suggestions on yelp thank you. Favorite Walgreens.. drive a little extra but so worth it. Today has the help of manager Richard. He was great! Assisted me at cosmetics and later while I waited in pharmacy he checked in on the staff and jumped into assist. Made the line move faster while he assisted with pick ups! read more
