Horrible... I ordered one photo 2 days ago and they say they have no order for me. I did a screenshot of my receipt. Vull! Never come here for any business.

Smallest Walgreens I ever been to. Don't waste your time. Probably only good for drive thru if that.

Dear Salon Owner and Stylist Travis,…read more I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment with the extremely unprofessional experience my daughter and I had at Yashi Beauty Salon (9733 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683), particularly with the stylist Travis. Before my daughter's appointment even began, I politely informed Travis that she has a dry scalp and a little dandruff because she is still young and sometimes does not wash her hair thoroughly. I shared this information simply so he would understand her condition and handle her hair gently and professionally. Unfortunately, what followed was the exact opposite. From the moment he started, Travis repeatedly yanked and pulled my daughter's hair very roughly. There was absolutely no care or patience shown toward a young child. Even after the appointment, my daughter told me her scalp hurt because he had pulled her hair so hard. What upset me even more was that instead of focusing on his work, Travis continuously talked to the other stylists about how "dirty" my daughter's hair was. He even walked over to speak with the manager about my daughter's scalp and hair condition. I was sitting in the waiting area and witnessed the entire situation. At one point, I noticed Travis glance toward me, realize that I was watching, and immediately look away while noticeably changing his attitude. That only reinforced my belief that he knew exactly what he was doing was inappropriate and unprofessional. What disappointed me the most, however, was the manager's response. Instead of reminding the staff to remain professional and ensuring that customers were treated with dignity and respect, the manager chose to participate in the gossip. They even crouched down together and whispered about my daughter's hair. Not once did I see anyone step in to stop the conversation or show any concern for how disrespectful their behavior was. As a manager, you should be setting the standard for professionalism and respectful customer service--not encouraging or participating in conversations that humiliate paying customers. Having dandruff or a dry scalp does not mean someone is "dirty." These are very common conditions that affect both children and adults. If my daughter's hair condition made it more difficult to perform the service, Travis could have spoken to me directly in a respectful and professional manner. Instead, he chose to gossip about my child with his coworkers and manager. If someone cannot treat customers with basic dignity and respect, then perhaps they should reconsider working in the beauty service industry altogether. What makes this even more upsetting is that the person who was hurt the most was my daughter. No child--or even an adult--should ever be made to feel embarrassed, judged, or disrespected while simply getting a haircut and hair color. When we got home, I also noticed that her haircut was uneven. While the hair color itself was acceptable, Travis's attitude and the overall customer service completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable experience for both my daughter and me. What I regret most is that despite everything we experienced, I still paid in full and even left a tip because I did not want to create a scene in front of my daughter. Looking back, I realize I should not have rewarded such poor service. I am speaking up now because I do not want another customer--especially another child--to experience the same disrespect that my daughter did. I sincerely hope the salon owner takes this matter seriously, speaks directly with Travis and the manager involved, and takes appropriate action to improve the professionalism and customer service within the salon. Hairdressing skills can always be improved, but respect, compassion, and professional ethics are what truly keep customers coming back and build a successful business. After this experience, I have completely lost confidence in this salon. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend it to anyone as long as customers continue to be treated this way.

Dear Jacke L. I am…read morefrom Ventura. I am a patient of Dr. Ho as well. Thank you very much for sharing with the public your feedbacks upon the visit to Dr. Ho's clinic. I am sorry that you were upset after the clinic visit. However, I find it unjustifiable in your comments stating that "Dr. Ho is a terrible doctor. If nothing is wrong with your eye, you will walk out with a diagnosis." If your eye has no problems to begin with, your primary care physician would not refer you to an ophthalmologist for an eye exam. I find that Dr. Ho is one of the best ophthalmologists I have ever encountered, given that I have seen more about 10 ophthalmologists for my chronic eye conditions in my life. Not only addressing the reasons you are referred to our clinic for, Dr. Ho also performed a thorough eye examination above and beyond required by the referral. The clinic is well-equipped with all state-to-art diagnostic machines that could image all aspects from the front to the back of the eyes. If Dr. Ho found any abnormal signs on his examination of my eyes, he always showed me the photos of my eye conditions or have me look through the mirrors and explained to me what the abnormalities and what the treatment options are. He never pushed me to go on surgery immediately, but started out with the most simple but appropriate treatment plan and advanced it in accordance to the disease conditions. Furthermore, he presented to me the latest therapeutic technologies that none of the previous ophthalmologists had told me about. Dear Jacke, I trust that, whatever diagnosis he found in your eyes is real and proven by photos taken right in the clinic and shown to you for your understanding about your eye conditions. All the patients I talked with at Dr. Ho's clinic told me the same. All of us (from babies to adults) are at risk of certain eye diseases. Most common are glaucoma, narrow iridocorneal angles (especially among those who are of Asian origin or who have dark and thick iris), and macular degeneration, to name a few. At the very early stage of these eye conditions, we can still see 20/20 without noticing any warning signs or symptoms of these diseases (you can go to website www.glaucoma.org written by top glaucoma subspecialists targeted to the general population). Many of our eye diseases are due to damage or loss of visual nerve cells, including glaucoma or macula degeneration, which are what I currently have. At the present time, nerve cells are the only type of cells in the body which cannot regenerate after damage or loss, unless research currently undergoing on stem cells allows doctors to help patients regenerate nerve cells in the future. Due to the irreversible nature of visual nerve cell death at the present time, you can find online that the American Academy of Ophthalmology recommend everyone have a routine eye check up despite vision 20/20, in hope to discover asymptomatic eye disease at the early stage so that treatment can starts to halt or slow down further loss or damage of visual nerve cells (http://development.aao.org/eyecare/treatment/eye-exams.cfm#) Dear Jacke, I agree with you that the waiting time in Dr. Ho's clinic can be a few hours long. However, during this waiting time, patients are performing various visual tests before seeing Dr. Ho to go over the test results. Furthermore, Dr. Ho spend as much time as needed to explain and answer to all questions that I have about my eye conditions. Most importantly, Dr. Ho performs a very careful eye examination, not only to address the questions of concerns that I go to his office for, but also to look for any other potential eye diseases that I am unaware of despite my vision being 20/20. Again, he always documents my eye conditions with photos to help me understand the eye conditions and to monitor them with treatment over time. He never jumped into conclusion of any diagnosis of my eye without presenting to me my eye photos or testing results. I have been in many other eye clinics where the waiting time is less than an hour. However, the ophthalmologists spend only 5-minute encounter with patients so the they can see as many as 50 to 100 patients a day. No time for photos taken and explanations about my eye conditions. No time for my questions addressed. Of course, no time for the ophthalmologists to ask me questions about my eye conditions. The doctors look at my eyes in less than a minute. These previous ophthalmologists told me my eyes were very fine except the dry eye symptoms. However, the symptoms never got improved after multiple 5-minute encounter with the doctors and treatment with only artificial tears, until I saw Dr. Ho, who showed me the photos of my cornea surface which had been severely eroded from the tear-film insufficiency. Dr. Ho treated my eyes with additional Restasis eyedrops and bandage medicated-membrane contact lens. I now feel no more gritty sensation, burning pain, or redness.

It took him literally all day to perform the procedure when it should have only taken less than 1 hour. After months of Dr. Ho telling my dad that he cannot see because of the healing process post surgery, my father became permanently blind in the eye that was operated on. Once he realized there is no fix, he ignored my dad and hoped he would go away.

Hello ladies! If you're looking for a hairstylist, hair colorist, or on-the-go hair/makeup stylist,…read moreJAZLIE is your girl! She is professional, communicative and very, very patient with her clients. During the craziness that was COVID, I was very fortunate to have met Jazlie who was able to do multiple balayage treatments on my hair when I was super pressed for time, and ended up doing amazing work on my wedding day too (FYI, never get engaged, married and moved in less than a year during a pandemic). When I met for my first balayage appointment, I was bent on the trendy rose gold color for my hair, but Jazlie talked me out of it since she felt that a cooler tone (lavender rose) would be better for my hair long-term in case I didn't do a touch-up. I was worried about the purple in my hair, but boy, was she right. During our appointment, she was very personable and gave a lot of good tips for caring for my balayage (unfortunately, I didn't heed her advice the first time around). Her customer service is top-par, as she was willing to wait beyond work hours to touch up my hair another time two days or so before my wedding. It was a dark and stormy night, but she made my hair shine beautifully rose gold for my wedding day! I ended up getting a lot of compliments on my hair color, hair styling (done by her skilled friend), and makeup for my big day. I've attached two photos of her work on my second balayage treatment and wedding hair two days later. You can find my other photos already posted here by Jazlie---I'm the girl with the silky pink robe on. Sorry Jazlie, I meant to give you the praise you deserved earlier, but life happened! Trust Jazlie with your hair, as I know I'll be back again for more treatments :)

I usually am able to create my own hair styles but felt the need to go to someone this time because I had just came home from weeks of traveling and was overall tired. I had requested for a specific type of curls that would blend in together and also a volumized side swept curl. The curls didn't turn out as I expected, I felt like I could've done a better job. My hair ended up not lasting long and needed to be fixed by myself through the day. The most disappointing part of this was I felt super overcharged. She asked me for $100 to curl my hair. This does not even include a wash and blow dry. This was pretty crazy considering another place has once charged me $45 for the SAME hairstyle.
