This is the Walgreens closest to where I am staying, but after a couple of visits, I am very disappointed. They don't offer the ease and convenience of a Drive-Thru, and the employees that I have encountered are not friendly, and seem to be rushed and subsequently rush the patients as well. To make matters worse, when I went to pick up the prescription I dropped off yesterday, they charged me a bit less than full price because "they don't accept my insurance." Huh? I have been with the same insurance for almost two years, and the Walgreens in Weston took my insurance. When I mentioned this to the pharmacist, he was distracted with a tech asking him a question and brushed me off saying: "I'm sorry ma'am. I applied your discount card but we don't take your health insurance--it comes out to $____.99. Do you still want it?" Suffice to say that I am seriously considering transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy provider. read more

I particularly like this Walgreens Liquor Store as it has decent parking with an ease of entry and egress. Though I see plenty of complaints about their rude and unfriendly help at the pharmacy next door, my experiences here have been to the contrary at this liquor store. I found the clerk professional, polite and helpful. It's fully stocked, has my favorite Russian Standard Gold vodka at about a dollar less than most places. But for me, even better yet Da Vinci Chianti for $11.99 a bottle whereas elsewhere around $14.00 a bottle. And not to toot about it a far better Chianti than many of the much more expensive. Unfortunately, there seems to be no private phone line to it, forcing you to go through the next-door pharmacy phone. read more

If you live in the southeast Pompano Beach or in the Port Royale, Fort Lauderdale area, this is a super convenient liquor store. The staff is really nice and helpful and it's a pretty clean store. The liquor store as well as the pharmacy is pricier than other stores. You basically are buying convenience. However, after a day in Broward traffic, a little convenience for a couple extra dollars is worth it. It's an extremely secure area with constant patrols by Fort Lauderdale police. If it's convenient, give it a try. read more

My physician called in a prescription first thing in the morning. I gave it an hour and then I called this Walgreens and asked if they were working on my prescription, they said yes please give them 20 minutes. Three hours later the pharmacist said it was still not ready, then asked us to come back come back. 4 more hours The pharmacist said please wait an additional 25 minutes. Absolutely not!!!!! Talk about no people skills at all ....transferring to a different Walgreens as we speak who will have ready immediately. Do better Walgreens, people rely on these medicines. There is a lady who claims to be the Manager is very rude. She is dark skinned, skinny with glasses and has a gap in her teeth treated me very poorly this morning. You can tell if it's not her own people she doesn't want to help. she was very condescending and laughing in my face when I showed her my coupon from the Walgreens app and she would honor not: I spend a lot of money at this store since I moved to Florida 6 years ago and I have never experienced that until today. The cashier with her were both laughing at me for no reason maybe because I'm not from their country. The manager said she can laugh at me because she's the Manager. Sent a photo here using Walgreens website and showed up to pick up the photo. The photo wasn't available and was told they didn't have the board to print it on. Asked why the website said they could print it and have it ready within an hour. The manager said it wasn't here website and wasn't her issue. read more

The pharmacy here sucks and that's putting it politely. Having to fill anything with these clowns always proves to be a special experience. The rest of the store and staff are great but I feel for you if you need to visit the pharmacy. Simply reinforces why I normally go to cvs with prescriptions when needed. read more

Open 24 hours and around the corner from home, this Walgreens gets 4 stars from me. Friendly clerks and a great variety of products keep me coming back. The pharmacy can sometimes be a bit of a hassle so I use CVS or Publix instead. Refunds and price error-adjustments can also prove time consuming. A spacious, bright, clean store in a convenient location that's always open. Ps. There's Walgreens Liquor store next door...not 24 hrs so check their hours before u go. read more

I used to frequent this Walgreen's many years ago for the liquor store but quite frankly quit using them because I got tired of having to play the coupon game and when I forgot or didn't have a coupon I overpaid. Anyway, I was looking for a deal on Pepsi products since Publix hasn't had them in sale for weeks. After skimming thru the Sunday newspaper ads, I noticed Walgreens had Pepsi product 12 packs 3 for $9, yeah! I popped in after my weekly car wash visit next door and pulled into the parking lot of what looked like an abandoned strip mall. I was on a mission so I overlooked it and went inside to find the Pepsi display. Grabbed my 3 products and up to the register trying to get in and out quickly. After being greeted the pleasant cashier swiped the bar code and I awaited with my debit card to pay. The card reader prompted me for my phone number which I never provide and as I'm getting ready to swipe I noticed the amount of my purchase was $19.47, WTH? To which I responded "I thought these were on sale 3 for $9? "Yes, they are" she said "but only with your Walgreens card, would you like to give me your phone number and sign up for a card"? No thanks, I think I'll head for the door. "Wait" she says, "let me see if I can find a card". Out from under the register she pulls and scans a card and the price is adjusted and I'm a happy camper again. I'm thankful for the nice cashier that cared enough to keep me from walking out. Note to Walgreens, there's a fairly new CVS across the street, please update this location and give it some curb appeal and a makeover inside. read more

In the 15 years that we have patronized the pharmacy, we have sadly seen it going steadily downhill. Some of the pharmacy staff have become error prone, arrogant, (and in some cases downright rude). Personnel and services have been cut back - sign of the times, but very negative here. Because of medical necessity, we spend $ thousands for prescriptions at this store each year. We have now taken our business elsewhere. Two stars, for the rest of the store is adequate. read more

I was very impressed with the customer service that I received at this Walgreens over the weekend. I was trying to find an item that has been flying off the shelves during the COVID-19 pandemic, online it said that they might have some in stock at this location, and when I called ahead of time to check on the accuracy of whether or not the item was in stock the staff members that I spoke with on the phone were so helpful and friendly. The manager on duty checked the shelf and let me know how many items they had and where it was located in the store. I was able to drive over within 30 min to purchase the items and while checking out I noticed a guy sweeping near the front entrance and I figured it must be the same guy that I spoke with earlier. I asked, and yes it was the same person who checked the shelf for me earlier, and I thanked him for such great customer service, his name is JP. It really brightened my day to have someone follow through like that and do an amazing job, given the current circumstances that are going on. I would recommend this Walgreens location to anyone in the area and will be shopping here more myself, simply because of the great customer service that I received from JP and the other front staff members. read more

I love walgreens no matter where I am there is always a store! This one is right by my house and I frequent it all the time! The pharmacy staff is not only nice but frickin hilarious!!
