Very frustrated with them.. my father went to pick up a prescription for me around 3:00 in the afternoon, they said that it would be ready by 5. I then had to go into Green Valley (40 min drive) and showed up at 5pm and was refused service. I needed to pick up the prescription as I would not have been able to the next day due to traveling. This Walgreens had my Rx. on Wednesday and said I could pick it up on Thurs. after 2:00PM. Husband went there to pick it up and cashier said it was $400.00 so she tried to find a coupon to us. Well, while looking for coupon, she lost my Rx. and said she'd call the doctors office to get a new one sent over. Well it's now Friday, 6:15PM and they never called and I out of this medicine until at least next Tuesday. No store manager around until Monday, so you can't even complain about the service. Time to go elsewhere and dump this store. They need more capable people to work in this pharmacy and they need to stop being so rude! They lost the Rx. so they need to call to get a new one. I had a prescription called in. At 9 am, they said it was not in but they would call me when they got it. At 1 pm, the automated system said they had it and would call when was ready. At 230, I went there and was told they didn't fill prescriptions that were without insurance. They never bothered to tell me that. No call. I finally got it at 3 pm. No apology. Terrible service. They've always had great service and are always well organized. Though they may not be over stocked like their competition, it's the customer service you get when you do, do business with them. CVS is a nightmare to deal with especially when it comes to don v RX's with them. read more

My wife had to wait two hours for an in person prescription drop off for a pain medication that was in stock. No preference for customers there now. Really poor customer service. Walgreens needs to re-evaluate their customer service. read more

My wife just left this Walgreens attempting to get her pneumonia vaccination for which she had an appointment. The pharmacist and one of the staff were arguing loudly about my wife's insurance. Her insurance is Blue Cross/Blue Shield. The clerk insisted that there was no insurance company by that name in their system! Nancy pointed to her insurance card with the Arizona address. Been there 2x in a row to pick up my prescription. First time I waited 20 minutes in the drive thru. Today, I waited 10 minutes and tried pushing the buzzer again, they would not answer and I ended up leaving w/o being waited on. Understaffed, rude and apparently not interested in their jobs. I called the manager the first time this happened. His answer was something to the effect that they (pharmacy staff) might be alone. I told him his staffing issues are not my problem. We're staying with my in-laws for Christmas and my observant 2 1/2-year-old, perched in my lap points at my face and says, "Owie." So, my skin isn't perfect. I'm in the middle of nowhere, no offense Green Valley, and I didn't pack any makeup. Damn. No Macy's makeup counter anywhere nearby, I head out to Walgreens, not sure what to get since I don't usually wear much makeup and don't have a favorite drugstore line. The Walgreens clerk is helpful and suggests a light Almay foundation, letting me know that if it doesn't work I can return it within 30 days. I also ask her to recommend a lip color that stays on well. The makeup worked out well for me. The next day, my kid points at my belly, which hasn't gone back to pre-baby size yet and innocently asks, "Baby?" "No!" I exclaimed emphatically. "That's where you used to be. No baby!" This place is awful. Understaffed no one is putting any work in my prescription was sent in 2 days ago and I never got a call that it was ready so I went in and they're out of stock. Did they call the provider to have the antibiotic switched? No. did they see if any other Walgreens had it in stock? No. in fact the first time I pulled up they told me it would be 15 min. They gave me 1 prescription without telling me anything about the antibiotic. I had to go inside to find and and the lady was really going to make me wait in like behind like 6 people to ask about my prescription they didn't give me. One more thing. While I was in line another lady was there to get her prescription because she got a text that it was ready. After waiting in line for God knows how long they told her she would have to wait 1 more day for her insurance to Cover it. She said " that's fine I have a flight in an hour I'll pay the $25" then the Walgreens lady told her ... we'll it's not ready you would still have to wait. She was like" so then why did I get a text that it was ready? I can show you the text... I have a flight in an hour. " she turned to me and told me. "Never come to this pharmacy. I am used to Susan and the other lady clerk in the pharmacy at Walgreens. I heard that the other lady retired and today, there were two new clerks at the pharmacy windows. They were slower than molasses. One woman, a pharmacist, I think, told me they were short staffed. Twenty minutes later, I was finally at the window. On my way out, I saw a managerial looking person and said that the wait for my prescription was 20 minutes. She proceeded to tell me, and not nicely, that it takes a long time to register Covid and flu vaccine patients. And, oh, I'm sorry. Everyone who works at this location is super kind and helpful. The pharmacy, especially, is very accommodating and whenever possible, will do whatever they can to help us. There are multiple members of my family who use this pharmacy and they always know who we are, I love that!! read more

No 0 stars available. Consistently, the worst pharmacy in the country- either grossly and woefully understaffed or just plain incompetent rude pharmacy employees. Prescriptions are never ready, pick up line is always extremely long and barely moves, employees' attitudes are could care less- might be able to correct with competent adequately trained employees with pleasant personalities. Our latest experience- 6 prescriptions were electronically transferred in the a.m. from TMC the day after a total knee replacement. Before leaving the hospital in Tucson we called two hours ahead of time and were told the prescriptions were being processed, drove straight to Walgreens pickup line and got in long line, after 10 minutes or more arrived at window where we could not understand what the masked employee said behind plexiglass but ultimately the employee walked away while talking on his cell phone never to return, still waiting at window a second employee arrived about 5 minutes later. Despite electronic transfer hours before and call two hours ahead prescriptions still not ready, employee left window presumably to check on prescriptions and never returned. Meanwhile, to add insult to injury another customer in line knocked on our car window. Thinking they were going to ask about the holdup we rolled down window and were astonished to be told that it was somehow our fault and we should have gone inside. We shut our window and waited another 5 minutes- still no employee- finally drove off without prescriptions. Ended up calling from home, returning to Walgreens and going inside. This is not the first time we have had an issue with this pharmacy, but will be the last. Prescriptions are being transferred to another pharmacy and we will not shop again at this pathetic store. read more

For 2 years I have been giving this pharmacy gratis because of covid. They no longer do an automated call when your prescription is ready. I have not waited less than 20 minutes for someone in the pharmacy to answer my phone calls. They routinely hang up on people on hold. Typical drive up wait time is over 30 minutes. They close completely during lunch. When I changed doctors, and called them and told them to change their records to my new doctor, they failed to do it, even though they said that they had. Even the automated robotic RX refill by phone prescription system stopped working, as I found out today when I came to pick up 4 scripts that I had called in 3 days ago, only to be told that there was no record of my request for refill. Employees rude and do not care about your needs or your business. To quote a Dylan song, "...they don't need you, and expect the same". All 10 of my maintenance scripts are moving to Fry"s. Walgreens on Continental in Green Valley offer passport photographic services. I had the opportunity today to request this service. I stated jp front that what I wanted were photographs to Canadian passport standards. The clerk stated they had the software in their developing equipment to match Canadian standards, but said that some customers still had their photos returned by the passport agency in Canada for whatever reason. This didn't exactly fill me confidence about the operation. I had the passport photos taken, and was asked to return in 15-20 minutes. When I did the passport photos were ready. The same clerk rang up the bill without showing me the passport photos first. When I asked to see them, she complied, and I realized that they hadn't cut the two photos to size. When I asked why, she said they didn't have the proper cutting tools to size them to Canadian passport standards, and she suggested I could do that. Now I know why their photos for Canadian passports are sometimes returned to the customers. They basically can't produce acceptable photos for Canadian passports. Why couldn't they say this from the " get go ". When I asked if there were other operations which could actually produce the photos to the proper standards, the clerk basically dismissed this possibility. I found out later that there is a passport photo business in Tucson which specializes in producing foreign passport photos and guarantees their acceptance by the receiving countries. So, in conclusion, bad, somewhat rude service from the clerk in the photo section, and shame on Walgreens for saying, ( through their clerk ), that they can provide a service that they can't. I called to have prescription transferred from my pharmacy in Wa to this pharmacy. Gave them all information they asked. I was told it would be ready the next day, Weds. Sat. AM, I go in for my rx and they didn't know if my rx was extended release or reg. They didn't follow through in THREE DAYS to follow up. This is a medicine I can't be without.
