I have been using Walmart Pharmacy in Sahuarita, Arizona, for many years now. I have never had an issue with any of their pharmacists, or their staff while going there. On the contrary. They are always super friendly and are there to meet the customer's needs, 24/7. Yesterday, I hate to admit it, but my funds before payday were looking a little bleak. I wanted to cut my prescription in half. I explained my problem to Nick, the pharmacist on duty. He immediately said "Sure, no problem at all", as I disconnected the call. After hanging up, I realized that I needed a few more days of medication than I last previously told Nick. So, once again, I called him back. He explained to me that it would cost me the same amount of money to refill the medication, whether I filled it partially or not. He used his COMMON SENSE, which is often hard to find these days, to not partially refill it, as I would have WANTED him to do. Thank goodness I did not have to ask him to change the prescription amount back AGAIN!!! At this time, he came up with another resolution that I was truly satisfied with!! He was truly AWESOME in this matter and I was so very happy!!! Thank you, Nick, for being there for me when I needed help!!!! The staff at the Walmart Pharmacy is so nice they take all the time you need to answer insurance and medication questions, they will locate the least expensive way to get the medications you need. They offer all the vaccines my doctor recommends and they are good at it. I am so thankful they are here in Green Valley. read more

After spending 5 minutes trying to navigate the new automated prescription refill system over the telephone, I was transferred to a live person. She quickly stated that I was "cutting out" and to call back later. Then hung up on me. Didn't give me an opportunity to take the phone off of speaker, just disconnected the call. Extremely rude. I can't imagine being an elderly person just trying to get their prescription refill. I will be looking for other options. read more

Left a script to be filled 7 days ago. I hadn't heard anything about it in the meantime, so I called them. It actually took me 10 tries to get a real person; several attempts to call it went to a horrible answering system 3x (very static-y) 2x hang ups, 5 no answers. I finally talked to a very inept individual that at first said there was NO record so I asked him to check again. Reluctantly, he did & found the order. Nothing had been done with it. He claimed the percentage on the original script isn't available & I needed to get another script from my doc. All bologna as I'd had it filled at another pharmacy before. I couldn't believe the ineptness, lack of concern with this interaction(s) at this pharmacy. I'll never go there again! Awful customer service!!!!! read more

The pharmacy worked with me for to find the best pharmaceutical coupons which I found online. This was outstanding customer service amidst the chaos of everyone filling prescriptions due to social distancing. I do wish they had pharmacy drive through like NW Arkansas has! read more
