The pharmacy use to be good when Lauren was there . Lauren was transferred to another Walgreens . Unfortunately I am not going to go any Walgreens Pharmacies unless it is a dire situation. The techs are useless and they say your medication will be ready two days after requesting a refill or having the doctor's office send it electronically. Just recently it took a lot longer than it was suppose to . I think the corporation has to overhaul this situation. These techs are robots . They look at the customer as if you are dumb for inquiring about your script . Forget about when they take their lunch for a half hour . Those people are not going to lunch they are filling scripts and you still don't get it when promised . I suggest Wegmans they are courteous and honest hard working people. Even the pharmacists go out of their way to give you the help you need . read more

I went into the store today to pickup some beverages that are normally buy two get one free there were some sodas on the end cap that had signs in front of them I was told by the cashier that sale had expired I explained to the cashier that the signs were still up and the consumer should get the sale price it wasn't my fault that the signs were taken down The manger was called and again explained to me that the sale wasn't no longer available and that one of the beverages that I wanted was actually two for 8 and not part of the buy two get one free deal I then escorted the manager over to where the signs were to show her that she was wrong and that the sign was actually in front of the beverages she explained wasn't apart of the sale. The manager took no accountability for it and I pressed to get items at the sale price, however once the manger told the cashier to give me the items for the sale price he didn't know how to do it the manger left and didn't help him to figure it out. I then became very frustrated and juat left the items because I felt I was being made to look like I forced them all I was simply saying is I'm the customer and usually you apologize take the sign down and just give the customer the item for the sale price but no the manager didn't feel compelled at all. read more

I've never experienced a slower pharmacy in all my years. The pharmacist here must be in the back cupping his or her own farts with his or her hand and wafting it into his or her face for hours on end. This is the only logical explanation for picking up medications always taking forever. I am very sick and won't get my medication until tomorrow despite my prescription being put in early in the day. At least my blocked nose will prevent me from smelling the pharmacists stinky ass when I pick up. read more

Getting a vaccine here feels very dangerous to me. The staff are doing many jobs at once. I have an appt but I get here and they have no flu vaccine. The line is outrageously long. Ten people when I walk in and the lady in front of me told me several people just walked out. Tired of waiting. I am getting the shot because CVS was unable to take care of me during that appointment because they were too busy. The pharmaceutical companies like Walgreens CVS and others are working their staff to death. And my fear is mistakes happen under these conditions. Ridiculous. They need more staff. THE WORST PHARMACY!!!! I'm currently on day 15 without my prescribed pain medication & the pharmacists refuse to answer calls. This pharmacy is awful. Don't bother unless you need something OTC. It's obviously extremely understaffed, you can tell by how stressed out the pharmacy techs and pharmacists are, and you can tell by HOW LONG THE LINES ARE. I don't have 30+ minutes to wait around for my prescription with a bunch of frustrated, coughing people. I don't fault the staff for being curt or for not answering the phones, it feels like they're trying to man a clearly sinking ship. They desperately need more people but I'm sure whoever is in charge of that is greedy and out of touch. I will be switching to an online pharmacy and I suggest anyone who wants their prescription medications in a timely manner do the same. At this point, this Walgreens is just an eyesore hogging up prime real estate. read more

WARNING! Be careful at this pharmacy!!!!!! My husband has now received the WRONG prescription for my elderly mother not once but twice!!! The first time when we opened the stapled bag the bottle had someone else's name and pills in the bag not hers. The second time it stated her name but when I opened bottle it was not her medicine. We had long conversations with them both times about the danger of this and while apologetic there is obviously a serious issue at this pharmacy. While we have obviously moved to another pharmacy we also plan to file complaints with proper authorities as this could have led to serious issues if we had not caught it. I strongly recommend you check every prescription from there if you choose to remain a customer. Obviously we would give the pharmacy 0 stars if possible. read more

I just went to the pharmacy which I've used for years. Avoid this pharmacy for vaccines!! The online scheduler works great, and you end up waiting forever when you check in upon arrival because the actual pharmacy claims that it doesn't receive the online scheduling or check in information. Walgreens knows how to take reservations, but doesn't know how to honor them. A five minute reserved vaccine is taking me over an hour. Don't know if computer issues or personnel issues but avoid. Took forever for a scheduled vaccine. read more

Never again! Checkout boy Tyler B was not only incompetent, but also very rude. I didn't get the store sale discount, refused to bag my purchases, and gave me this hard guy stare down after I did not donate to the Walgreens charity. The pharmacy is terrible. Impatient and sometimes rude personnel. There are often problems with refills. It used to be nice, they called you if the medicine was out of stock or when they had questions. Nowadays they don't even pick up the phone sometimes. The past 2-3 years have been awful. It is now the customer's job to make sure they have the prescription and will fill it in time. I once called them and was on hold for 20 min so I decided to drive over while still on hold. Got there with about 45 min total on hold time. Three people just sat there staring at computer screens. When I told them I was still on hold, the clerk's reaction: ok? They just don't give a damn. We've been their faithful customers for over 15 years but we are leaving. read more

I had a tax exempt order that needed extra attention that the manager was happy to assist with. Shoutout to everyone except David! He has a very nasty and flippant attitude that he gave to myself and other customers in line after me. He gave the bare minimum of customer service I expect from a cashier, and I'd rather use self checkout if available. As if his horrible attitude wasn't bad enough, he proceeded to talk about me as I left the store - loud enough for me to hear! I'm shocked that someone like this would still be employed! Still a chain drugstore, but the drive through pharmacy can be a big convenience, especially if it is at night and you're trying to do a bunch of errands. I also believe the store is 24x7, so if you need to run out in the middle of the night for something, it's central and close. Plus, for some of the staples that they might not have food wise, you can get at the Wawa across the street. read more

I used to live one block away, but had only visited for the RedBox before this past week. I'm a CVS-person. That exists. Stopped in on a candy mission (not for me!) the other night. Aside from being really tired and thus not being able to figure out what door was the entrance door compared to the exit door (...), the experience was quite fine and drug-store-like. As in, I found the candy, paid, and left. The parking lot is a bear. Good luck exiting if you're leaving during active town hours. Unless you're making a right -- in which case you're fine. I visited the healthcare clinic for a flu shot On a weekday morning. I had an appointment, and the check in is easy and comprehensive. I was 20 minutes early but was seen right away. I was treated with respect and given clear answers to any questions I had. They were quick and efficient but I did not feel rushed, but rather taken care of. So after my zero star experience at Rite Aid in Collingswood I had to find a new place to gather all the stuff to fill my new apothecary jars I bought at the Container Store. Walgreens has an excellent selection of just about everything you need from a drug store, though I wish they had more american crew products. The two for one vitamin/supplement sales are also a boon. Last Spring I was going to buy milk at Walgreen's and Hot Cross Buns across the street at McMillian's bakery. I parked in Walgreen's lot. A gallon on milk is a lot heavier than Hot Cross Buns so I started to go to McMillan's first. They hired a professional harasser. As I was waiting to cross the street I heard. "Hey You!" in an arrogant condescending tone. I ignored it. He got into my face yelling "I wuz talkin' tuh ya". I replied that I don't respond to that tone and assured him that I was not his dog. "Get your car out of this lot". Notice that his tactic was immediately in-your-face rather than asking what I was doing. They hire a minimum wage thug to assault people. WRITER'S NOTE: This is a review of the Walgreen's Healthcare Clinic at the Westmont, NJ location. HORRIBLE. PLEASE avoid this Walgreen's clinic at all costs!!! Patients and I had a horrible experience back on the afternoon of 3/14/2014. 1. The clinic had only one nurse practitioner. 2. Each person had to wait 60-90 minutes to finally see someone. 3. The nurse was mad nasty to me. I was supposed to get a chloresterol screening and she was very irate when I didn't give her the paperwork. When I asked if she provided any paperwork, she said no. I had to get them the website. After that tense exchange, I was turned down and forced to leave... When I went to the Walgreen's website, there was no paperwork to fill. How was I supposed to know?!? I will never forget what that nurse said stuff to me... "Oh Jesus... Are you serious?" (What the nurse said after I told her I needed a chloresterol screening.) "**Sighs** What a bunch of jackasses..." (What the nurse said after I said that there was no paperwork for me to find and sign.) I ended up at cherry hill location , to exchange my shampoo but they ran out so a really nice Sales girl called the Westmont location and they had the Argan oil shampoo for dry frizzy, hair that drives me crazy. The manager was cool , nice made it a fast exchange . Overall, good location open till 11 pm and ample parking across from WaWa and the best Bakery in the South Jersey MacMillans.Def if in the area shopping get a sweet treat , once u try a donut or any of their tummy cakes cookies u will be hooked. Best pound cake ever and luv their brownies so decadent. Yes, I have a humugous sweet tooth and sorry to digress , Walgreens had lots of sales as u walk in . And the people cashier very friendly, def Will be back.happy I have my argan shampoo Fyi, great for dry hair that is frizzy and unmanageable. Def, had a great deal double the size for the same price. 50% good deals. Complete waste of my time. Signed up online and scheduled my appointment. It took an hour and a half to be seen by the nurse, during which time at least three walk ins were placed ahead of me. It was maddening to watch my name at the top of the list as each of the new arrivals replaced it. Afterwards the nurse said my insurance wasn't accepted and then refused to let me pay out of pocket for a simple test . This visit wasted almost two hours of my time for absolutely nothing. After this visit I'll be at CVS, probably to help lower my new high blood pressure! read more

This is a very clean, well-kept, organized, and centrally located Walgreens, which is a nice welcoming change from the norm. The two major downfalls of this location is the parking lot (just not easy to get out of the lot - be careful, and be prepared to wait awhile to get out), and the unfortunate fact that the pharmacy is frequently out of certain medications. They don't really have the authority or knowledge to let people know when the out-of-stock medications will be in, so it's just a guessing game, and it's quite frustrating. Unfortunately, certain of the pharmacists won't even call around to other locations to see if the medication is available there, unless you specifically ask them to. It is not exactly convenient for me to have to go to many different drugstores to have a prescription filled, but there's really no other choice sometimes. read more

The selection of things for a pharmacy was really good and they weren't crazily over priced. The staff was friendly and quick to get you in and out I cant say anything about the pharmacy in particular as I came to use it as a convenient store but none the less open late and perfect when you need to grab stuff. read more

This is a fairly quiet Walgreens, hence one of the reasons I like coming here. I generally purchase all my travel necessities here, but the pharmacy is also very good. The pharmacists are very personable and available to answer questions/concerns about prescription and over-the-counter medications quickly. I've never had to wait in line to see a pharmacist here, which is a big plus! During my visits, it has not been busy which results in a quick check out experience. read more

I had been a frequent patron of this Walgreen's Healthcare Clinic for 1+ years. The Nurse Practitioners were always nice to me & the students I brought in- for physicals, vaccinations, etc. However, the experience I had with the male nurse practitioner on duty on October 30th (his name was Michael Z.) resulted in me (& my other coworkers) never wanting to patronize a Walgreens store/ pharmacy/ healthcare clinic again. He asked me for guardianship paperwork I've never been asked to provide before, never told me where I could find said paperwork, not gave me a clear description of this paperwork. After being placed on the phone with my boss who explained repeatedly what I just mentioned above, Mr. Z ended up speaking to her in a VERY raised voice (I wouldn't call it yelling, but it was very loud) & handed the phone back to me saying he's not going to "sit here & be berated." My boss asked me to ask him how long it would be before he hears from his manager. Mr. Z snapped at me & spoke in a very rude, sarcastic, condescending tone of voice: "Do you see this phone?" (He had his cell phone in his hand) "-you're standing right in front of me. It's going to take that long." I calmly told him that "Sir, you do not have permission to talk to me like that." I told him I understood that he may be angry with my boss for the way they spoke to each other on the phone, but that is no excuse for projecting his anger on me. He said to me, "I'm talking to you the same way I talk to anybody else." By this point I'm in tears because I've never had an adult male be so rude to me before. Before leaving abruptly I told him he still does not have to talk to me like that. To make this whole situation worse Mr. Z not only spoke to my boss & I in a rude way - but he did this all in the presence of one of my high school students. I asked him for his name to make a complaint & he told me his name was Michael Z. Not once during my entire visit did he ever say the words, "I'm sorry for this inconvenience. Let me see what I can do to help you." I understand the importance of having all your legal ducks in a row, but if a customer has never been told before to provide these ducks & you do nothing to help them out other than to stubbornly say you won't help & snap at an innocent bystander- then they need a refresher in how to deal with customers- at the very least. Everyone else at the Healthcare Clinic was/ is super nice, but Mr. Z's behavior ended up destroying any chance of me patronizing any Walgreens again- in this lifetime anyway. read more
