I have never been treated with disrespect and rudeness. JUAN was upset I was exchanging and I accidentally brought in a non Walgreens item he took from my bag. A sealed thank you card. since I'm obviously a criminal mastermind trying to return my mail for $ I needed is to exchange a shirt dorm right size and for some greeting cards I didn't need I bought at other Walgreens days earlier. Ughh. So I didn't have I'd and I was told to leave the store. I have never given this low of a ranking before our of all the years. To be treated like a second class citizen or an idiot in his mind. Oh and he said I'm not allowed to take pictures and he insisted I stopped. I had to ask him to lower his voice 3 times as he was trying to intimidate. I finally said enough and I said "careful what you put out there cause if your an asshole to people then your getting back. At this point I had him return the non essential items I just purchased and went to a different companies pharmacy. Juan take some time man... This location is closest to my job office, and I've stopped in on many occasions for quick snacks and cosmetic items. The employees are friendly and helpful at the photo department, in cosmetics, and at the main registers. I primarily visit this store for my Hawaiian island snacks. They have a wide selection of drinks mixes, food seasonings, snacks and frozen food items..basically a big amount of items that I have eaten during my childhood, and am happy to find in Las Vegas. Special props to Carol in cosmetics. She is always happy to look for coupons to use for items that you purchase, and there is a good chance that if she has no coupons for you to use, she will give you freebies. I just received a sample of argan hair oil. Yay! read more

NEVER EVER EVER take your prescriptions to THIS Walgreens. It took 5 days for me to get a problem cleared up (which should've taken 1 full day tops) and in the end they didn't sell me the proper medication and I got a more costly one. To fix THAT I'd have to start all over: call doc, get new px, take back old px, etc. NEVER AGAIN. read more

Marcia the racist Walgreen's employee was butthurt we were using coupons. She started with the first lie about how the coupon states only one per household, we asked her to show us where it stated that on the coupon to which she smirked and moved on to the next lie about how the coupons were fake.... I was shocked and and demanded a reason for her vile behavior to which she changed the subject to how she has to verify the coupons. So we waited on her while she did searches on her phone and then she started to ring up the products.... The product scanned for a wrong price other than what was advertised clearly in store , when we brought that to her attention she became sarcastic and said I'm wrong. I told her she could go check the price which she did but not before asking me if I wanted it for free sarcasticly, when the ignorant bigot came back from checking the price she started to correct the price manually and no apologies..... Worse pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. They don't answer the phone. Waited 20 minutes for them to pick up. They never know how to put my RX through for a 90 day supply. Every month thee is a problem with my RX. Hope my insurance plan goes back to using CVS. read more

Is there an actual pharmacy here anymore? A total of 40 minutes and no one has picked up the phone. The drive through is far from fast either. Wait time can be the same as a phone call. What is the issue here Walgreen's? Do you not hire enough staff to service your customers? The staff inside the store are courteous and helpful, but the pharmacy is a nightmare. read more

NEVER USE THIS PHARMACY, It is a JOKE!!! People are rude the wait is ridiculous and there is no customer service here. When and if they answer the phone you are more likely get hung up on then actually get helped. Even when dr call in prescriptions they are out of stock on the items and don't bother to mention it until you go to pick it up. In order to use the drive-thru you need at minimum an hour of time to waste, although that goes for waiting inside as well. read more

Always greated when I come in the store which is at least a couple times a week. Employees always smiling. They have helped me find things a number of times. And that's them noticing I'm having trouble locating something because my stubborn ass never asks for help with anything. Have given me coupons to save money more times than I can count. I love the location of this Walgreens. The store itself is fine, it's more the pharmacy. They take FOREVER. I have to plan for at least 15 minutes to get my prescription every time I go. The longest I've waited is a half hour. For a $3 prescription that's a lot of time. I feel awful for the workers because they are always running around so busy, so I get they are understaffed. Something needs to change here! read more

Pharmacy service is the WORST! Don't even attempt to go through the drive through to drop off or pick up. It's no way faster or convenient. I get they're busy but hey don't be rude. Better off going to surrounding pharmacies for better service! read more

!REVIEW ON PHARMACY ONLY! Normally this Walgreens is pretty reasonable and I have never had any issues with them... until today. I went to get my prescription filled there on Friday and when I get there, I was told my prescription changed which kinda shocked me but I have had it fluctuate before, so I went on my way. This morning I went to take my prescription as given, and I realized that this was not a generic version of what I normally take, but a completely different brand altogether. I called this morning and the guy on the phone seemed very polite but when I went into the store and talked to the SAME GUY, he was very short and very unwilling to help - even though I was the only one in line at the pharmacy. He told me that Walgreens were the ones who changed my medication because THEY were out of stock of what I normally take. Never once did they notify me that my medication was changed until I went to pick it up, and even then, I had to do my own research to find out the medication they were trying to give me would cause my other medical conditions to become increasingly worse. All that being said, I got this taken care of - fine. My main reason I find such flaw with this Walgreens is their customer service. When I talked to the gentleman on the phone, as I said he seemed very friendly and understanding but in person he was short and unwilling to help. Not only that, the other 'pharmacist' there was a female and she was very snide as well. The entire time I was talking to the gentleman there, she was rolling her eyes, making obnoxious head movements, and being just as short as the gentleman was. After all fussing and mussing around, the guy told me he wouldn't call one other pharmacy to check because he said 'I can't spend all day calling around looking for this medication for you'. I have already changed pharmacies due to this and am looking into bypassing a in-store pharmacy completely due to this experience. Very disappointed in their customer service. read more

This Walgreens has just about gotten on my last nerve! The first time I filled a prescription I called said it was ready, I get here and one of the medicines wasn't in stock so half my order was ready! The out of stock medicine wouldn't be in for 4 days. I asked if another walgreens has it and they said I could call and ask!!! Why would they not have called and had it sent over. So today I come and after confirming over the phone that my prescription would be ready at 4:00pm and it is now 8:27 I come to get it and it still is not ready! This is after it took the pharmacist 4 times asking me my first name which is pretty simple..it's all of amber. So she tells me she will fill it now to come back in 15 minutes... I just came back to pick it up and they tell me they only have 5 of the 90 pills!! you have to be kidding me, the others will be in Monday! Haha what a joke and waste of time! I never seen a rude manager like the night manager of walgreens at arroyo grande. Her name is Debbie and another rude manager is Allan. I used to shop with my coupons and my transactions got messed up during my first visit at this store, the manager named allan practically slamming the pen and receipt while he was getting frustrated and this is also same with the night manager named Debbie. Tonight, i shopped there again ( This is after talking to their other store manager named Bradley he told me that he will talk to those 2 managers) But tonight, here we go again, at the end of my transaction, manager debbie told me and my boyfriend if we could shop at a different time because there are only 2 of them at the store and her employee was helping me for am hour which is ridiculous. I think the pharmacy staff is amazing here. It is very busy but they seem to be really good at their knowledge. I only go in the mornings and I never have an issue. The people who complain about the staff probably have no idea how a pharmacy is really ran. It is a process and waiting is going to be a part of it. I am in the medical field and the fact that I see the poor reviews tells me that you people take no responsibility for your medications or you are a drug addict trying to fill early. a staff of few trying to handle the phones, drive thru, walk ins, and faxes over 2000 people a day and you think you are special and deserve the royal treatment. NEWS FLASH ... everyone there has a medical condition not more important than anyone else. Try learning patience and empathy for the people who are in the medical field. This Walgreens has just lost another customer after over 30 years of being a Walgreens customer from Illinois to Nevada. I called to see if my prescription was ready, after a 3 day hold-up on Walgreens part. When they told me the price of one of the prescriptions, I asked them to please just give me a 3 day supply until I could contact my insurance company on Monday. They declined, which normally Walgreens has obliged on these types of matters. I tried to explain the severity of the situation with this particular medication and was met with an "oh well, call your insurance company before you come in or just pay for it and then if there is an error get a refund." Really? Did you hear anything I said about the necessity of this medication and that I had already been out due to an error on Walgreens part? Ashley was so rude and flippant that I almost went to the store to confront her in person but thought better of myself, and decided to just transfer all my prescriptions immediately. So I took all my prescriptions to CVS, explained the situation and the staff was very helpful and considerate. The pharmacist took the time to listen to my concerns and she understood the necessity of the medication and the repercussions (possible death), if I went any longer without the medication. The CVS staff took all my information and called me within an hour. They had gotten a verbal from Walgreens on the necessary medication and had it filled with the requested supply with the agreement I would contact them on Monday after speaking with the insurance company, at no charge today and agreement for payment after insurance contacted. CVS staff however had not gotten any other information from Walgreens on my other medications as of this writing, I really hope Walgreens isn't going to do their normal routine and not transfer my prescriptions in a timely manner. Its a shame that Walgreens has been sucked into the big business and lost their human component. They would rather a person to possible suffer a stroke or die before being willing to help them. Shame on Walgreens, keep going like this and God will take of you! I would not recommend Walgreens for a can a dog food. Get out while you can the life you save may just be your own. read more
