Do not go here for flu shots. We recently switched to this pharmacy due to Rite Aid closing and it's been an awful experience. Lines are always long, fine. But flu shots.....My husband and 4 year old waited 45 minutes with an appointment. Today my son and I waited 35 minutes with an appointment and it was NOT busy. We watched the lead pharmacist continue to fill routine prescriptions while patients with appointments waited for their flu shots. She was incredibly rude and runs her pharmacy terribly. Absolutely no reason to bother making appointments for flu shots when she chooses to let you just sit and wait while she fills routine prescriptions with 3 others working as well. Popped in to redeem a coupon I had for a facial cleanser. The store was decently sized and I found what I needed quickly. However, there was only one cashier and no self checkout. The employee had difficulty redeeming the coupon and had an attitude like he couldn't be bothered. I asked if the manager could assist and she was more helpful. Incompetent, unprofessional, unorganized. This pharmacy had me waiting for hours. Went early in the morning to pick up a prescription, the guy with the red beard said they didnt have it yet, fine, he took my phone number and said i would be contacted as soon as it was ready for pick up. I go home and wait around for TEN HOURS until i finally call, they say oh yea we got that prescription earlier this morning. I get upset asking why I wasn't contacted, the lady hangs up on me. I go in and now I'm not having any of their nonsense, I tell them I've been sick and needing my meds in not the nicest tone, so they take this opportunity to kick me out of the store. Sorry I got upset with you, you had me waiting around all day sick and in pain when you said you would notify me. This place is incompetent, unprofessional, and unorganized. Go elsewhere. read more

I have been going to this Walgreens for only a short time and I've been extremely patient with them thus far. There are two male pharmacists that work there that need anger management training. I have never been treated so poorly by anyone ever in my entire life. One is worse than the other. They have no people skills, no manners and no sense of how to speak on the phone. One called me up and screamed at me and he was nonsensical and completely wrong. He did apologize but it means very little. He sounds unhinged and out of control on the phone and in person. Witnessing him fly off the handle at other customers too is scary. I miss the days of mom and pop pharmacies and a pharmacist who knew you and who cared. This one pharmacist is also very judging of what medicine you take. He is clearly not right in the head. You cannot treat people like this. I really hope he finds a different career path or gets help for his anger, his outbursts and his mannerisms. This isn't the person I want to fill anything for me. It's a shame how anyone is allowed to act now and they are never held accountable for their actions. I don't even have enough words to describe this un human like being. I just hope one day he is observed and gets some help. It isn't ok or normal to be this angry. He actually scares me. I know I'm not the only one who has experienced him. I have heard from a few other customers about his outbursts and how he was screaming at another customer in the store. Four times so far I was yelled at by two different male pharmacists there over the phone and all four times I was given the wrong info. One apology was given. Nothing even had anything to do with me. One had to do with my doctor and 3 other times it was a Walgreens service that was malfunctioning.Also one of them doesn't know one of the policies of their own store. Something is just so very wrong with the both of them. No one has a right to treat anyone like this one pharmacist does. The next time something is wrong, he needs to breathe and think about what he is doing before he calls someone up or yells at them and think of the words he's using and saying. There needs to be some kind of training for him. I don't care how busy they are, his behavior is unacceptable. read more

This is the worst of the worst .No sales representatives, one cashier and an inefficient pharmacy. The entire pharmaceutical staff has an attitude due to being overworked. Mistakes are common, check your medications are correct before consumption. The pharmacy was bad before, but since taking over Pascack Pharmacy they have added to the workload diminishing their service further. I switched to their Rivervale store same difference poor service and understaffed. read more

Walgreens on Washington Ave Hillsdale Pharmacy staff is excellent. They are helpful and courteous and efficient. The Pharmacists Lauren and Gizela run it well and can relied on for help at any time. read more

Pharmacy is incompetent. For whatever reason these certified pull counters think they know more than qualified doctors. If you have no where else to go and want to hear about a bearded guys failed dating life, then by all means check it out. I would recommend CVS in Westwood, friendly and helpful staff who know what they are doing. read more

The staff is always helpful. They have a nice selection of products. They look into outages. I am happy with the store and don't want it to close . Don't shop here if you have a child with a disability. My son is autistic so sometimes he may have moments where he is overstimulated.. Went here with dad. He got upset over something and was crying and having a tantrum. While dad tried calming my son down. An older man who was and is the manager in glasses approched him very nasty. Asking him what the problem is. He had the nerve to say that my son was upsetting customers and disrupting the store. Of course dad was in shock of the way he was being spoken to. He told this manager my son was autistic. He didnt care and kept hassling him. Finally my boyfriend was going to pay. This guy wanted him to pay in the photo area to I may write a letter to corporate. This store will never get my business ever ever again. Shame on you. read more

I'm writing this review strictly for the pharmacy at Walgreens. The men that work back there , more specifically the one that has the beard , are the most rude group of people I have ever dealt with. Been going to this location for years, never was really a big fan. No help from staff, never have sale specials, and the pharmacy is always crowded. You have to time it right, get there before the older crowd arrives and when the mom's are at school getting their kids. If you need stuff from behind the pharmacy counter the staff acts like it's a big ordeal, need to go out of their way. Other than that just your regular run of the mill chain pharmacy. read more

I went to the pharmacy to check the cost for the medicine. The guy at the register had bad attitude and was not nice at all. He was acting like he was very cool and didn't care. While I was waiting at the register, he didn't pay attention what I said and did something else like talking to colleagues and doing other things. They don't even deserve 1 star in my opinion. They have made a few mistakes filling prescriptions and I ended up moving everything over to CVS in Westwood (which is great btw). Today I had a one time prescription to fill and I had already passed CVS, decided it's a simple one I could try Walgreens again. BIG MISTAKE! The guy told me it will be 20-30 min, even though I was the only one there and middle of the day. I sat down and waited. After 25 min one of the ladies asked my last name and what I was waiting for. Once I told her, she explained they didn't even have my prescription in stock, they couldn't fill it until the next day after 2pm. Seriously? They guy even checked his computer before telling me it will take 20 min. I picked up my prescription and went back to CVS, who was able to fill it while I waited exactly 7 min! They are inconsiderate of people's time and they ALWAYS make mistakes. He sure to double check everything if you end up going here. read more

The rudest pharmacist I have seen in my 6 years working in healthcare. Simply yells at you when you call with Rx from the doctors office, asking not to be bothered on a Saturday (may be a good idea not to work on a Saturday if you do not want to be "bothered". Better yet not work in customer service all together if you cannot control your anger with people. read more

I've used this store for years simply because it's geographically convenient. It's seriously disorganized and the staff is mostly lackluster at best. The best part about using Walgreens is that your Rx information is available throughout the nationwide chain meaning if you need something on vacation, it's easy and stores in other areas have been a big improvement. However, the latest issue is a check that took nearly a month to clear the bank! I registered a probably useless complaint but still want to make folks aware that this could cost one bank fees. It shouldn't even be an issue because the check is put through the computer system. My advice would be don't pay by check. read more

This pharmacy is such a disappointment every time I go there. The staff is completely rude, especially the males working behind the pharmacy. I've had two bad experiences with two different men back there. I was picking up a prescription and I was continuously asked over and over to get a flu shot even though I was not prepared to at that time (I had my two little children with me). Finally someone else in the back told him to "leave her alone already!" The only person who truly deserves recognition is the lovely lady who works at the beauty counter. She is such a kind lady. I wish I knew her name! I just don't think I can use their pharmacy department anymore! read more
