It definitely shows...it's a large store with a small footprint on the bottom floor, and most inventory on the top floor accessible via escalators. It was well stocked, and plenty of employees (can't remember the last time at a CVS I was asked if I needed help). I ended up buying a bag of chips to bring back for our cabin steward (hope he likes it), using the self checkout lane.

As…read moremy usual spot on Ward Ave sadly has permanently closed my prescription that I usually have filled there had to find another location and suggested this Long's on South King St across McKinley HS is a nice and easily accessible location with access from both South King and Young Street along with a drive thru pharmacy with lots of free parking it's a great location. The staff there are very nice and friendly as they knew my prescription has been transferred and changed as well and verified with me the current dosage that's prescribe to me very nice spot to get it done along with picking up some essentials. As my car is not feeling the greatest I needed a location that was closest to the Queens Island Urgent Care in Kaka'ako to pick up a prescription and since this was right down the street I keep the stress level down for myself as well. Located prominently on Ward Ave parking entrance is on Halekauwila Street which is free and with lots of covered stalls available that has an elevator that will take you down and directly into the store. With this being the newly opened location it's very nice and clean and not as crazy crowded like the malls is nice and with basically no lines it was an easy pick up and the staff is very nice and friendly as I arrived basically right after my check up knowing it wouldn't be ready that fast was actually being worked on which is so nice as having them will give me great comfort and that's I'm so grateful. You go up the ramp, park on the second floor and take the elevator down. Once you step of the elevator you're already in the store. I saw a lot of Hello Kitty items this time around. They also carry my face mask that I didn't see at any other Long's. Their cosmetics and body care line is huge at this store. If you're into that you'll love this place. They have a photo department that does passport photos also. I came by and picked up a Pokemon card and Haagen-Dazs ice cream for someone.

The long pole attached to the shopping wagon prevented me from properly exiting and rolling the wagon to my car. My only options were to make multiple trips and risk leaving my groceries unattended where they could easily be stolen. I would leave one star, but my experience with the photo department was actually great. Because of that, I'm giving a higher rating. The store really needs to rethink the wagon/cart design or provide a better solution for customers buying heavier items.

I…read moredo have to admit that it's been quite awhile since I've shopped at any Walgreens since I know that they have so much selection my visits are usually specific as I'm search for items that exhausted any other shops/stores that I could think of. With that searching online using their app does make the search so much easier and rules out if they have the item or not at any of their locations throughout the island and my search was so simple but didn't think it would be an issue which turns out to be exactly that as I was just looking for paper cups...not plastic or foam regular paper cups and they not only had them it was on clearance...woohoo! Though search was a bit difficult to find as they do have so much other items that made me forget what initially what I was here for lol! This N School Street is quite big with lots of parking and is very accessible even at a busy intersection and is very nice, clean and organized. Love the convenience to find items online so that you don't waste gas and time for the search as I found what I was looking for. Thank you!

Just be aware that it's possible you maybe asked for funds. However, the inside is clean and almost sterile. A large variety of snacks such as chips, chocolates, holiday candies, knickknacks and lotsa different types of soft drinks. I like that they have frozen treats from other countries at pretty reasonable prices. The back aisles have a number of different medical supplies to stock your cabinets. Toiletries and sundry items line the shelves but...keep in mind most are locked up. However, staff are nice and friendly which is a reason to stop by again. Prices are fair.

It's a little smaller than Walgreens I've seen, but I only needed one thing. I broke the armrest of my mom's transport chair, and it was pretty old. Why not get a new one? No greeting which was alright since it's a drugstore, but I got a friendly nod from security. But I walked over near the pharmacy, and then just looked down an aisle, and there it was. The last one, only one, maybe they just put out one at a time. Brought it up to the counter, and the clerk was friendly. After coming out, I didn't realize there was a Petco. No wonder the Walgreens was small. It's a good store to come to.

Parking lot can be crowded depending on time of day but I've never been able to not find a stall. The pharmacy staff are always surprisingly pleasant, regardless of how busy it is or what time of day. I never have to wait very long (if at all) for my prescription pick ups or vaccinations. If a specific medication can't be filled at their location, they give me recommendations for other pharmacies to try to contact that likely are able to fill it, which I really appreciate. It's a refreshing experience, as I've had extremely frustrating experiences with other pharmacies being not only sorely understaffed but with poor attitudes too. I just wish that the prescription status updates on the CVS app were more accurate. This store alone can't fix that issue but it is quite difficult to get in contact with the pharmacy over the phone if I need to clarify what the hold up with my prescription refills is/what information is missing. There is an option to request a call back from the pharmacy but that has been hit or miss.

Don't tell the others that this is one of my favorite Longs...and yup this is the former Star Market location and one of the reason, parking lots of parking and with countless entrance from either South King or South Beretania Street though as i do adore this location i guess the comfort of coming here and picking up my essentials was a quick and easy process though I've never documented the love i have for our neighborhood Longs. Along with the drive thru pharmacy that i do see many take full advantage of they do have Bank of Hawaii right along side them and i always find whatever i need here and the staff are very efficient and friendly as I needed to return an item and did so within seconds.
